Hi, I wanted to be clear about the thread I started before - it's not a swap, so nothing is required in return! It's for the perfectly good uniform items that you might otherwise give to charity. This way we can support each other in our mumsnet community.

I've got several pairs of boys black school trousers aged 8-9 with adjustable waists. Free to good home and I'm happy to post just PM me Smile

I have a pair of girls/ladies (adult size 3) Dr marten 'Spin' black patent shoes, brand new and looking for a home. They would make great school shoes if anyone could make use of them. Google for better photo to see style as they are not the traditional dr marten.

Imgoingtodisney · 19/07/2015 00:14

I put a message on here the other night then lost the thread and couldn't track you lovely people down. I have now been offered some trendy trousers for my DS. This may be a small think to some people but will make a huge difference to us. Thank you

Cupcaketin · 19/07/2015 20:37

I have about 4 pairs of grey girls plus fit school trousers if they are of use to anyone, age 10 and 11. Please pm me if you would like them as I might not see a reply on the thread.

ravenAK · 19/07/2015 20:44

I have:

A couple of dozen blue gingham summer frocks, all ages 4-11
Royal blue school v neck jumpers x2 - age 14
Probably half a dozen royal blue cardigans, various sizes
Grey skirts/pinafores - again sizes 4-11
A couple of pairs of grey boys' trousers - age 14

PM me with age/gender & I'll see what I can sort out!

IndigoApple · 19/07/2015 21:00

I have a black Debenhams lightweight school coat age 12-13, belted trench coat style with hood. Worn for about 1 week! It has DD's name written inside but could stick a name tape over it.

Black M&S school skirt with adjustable waist, age 11. Nearly new condition.

tippytappywriter · 19/07/2015 21:19

Idisntlikemylastusrname - what size are the girl's trousers please?

Imgoingtodisney · 19/07/2015 23:12

Hi ravenAK, I can't work out how to pm youConfused.

Our school colour is royal blue so if you happen to have anything that would fit my 8 year old daughter I would gladly make use of it.

ravenAK · 19/07/2015 23:28

Definitely, I'll have a rummage disney - away for a couple of days but will PM you when I get back on Thursday Smile.

GiantGaspingSatanicCyst · 20/07/2015 15:48

I have a few 3yo girl's white polos if they are of any use?

Also have some 6-7 boy's grey trousers - they've been mended a little around the crotch Hmm but in pretty good nick otherwise.

AmIthatsummery · 21/07/2015 11:57

Girls' grey trousers. BHS. Age 5
Girls, black cardigan. M&S. Age 13-14
Girls' black cardigan. Primark. Size 8 (fit my 15 year old)
Girls' black skirts. Primark. Size 8 - one barely arse covering, the other slightly flared. Can spit peas through both of them, but were worn with very thick tights, in the way that S3 and 4 girls do.

Girls' gym shorts. Champion. Age 13. 2 pairs. Tight fitting

Girls' t-shirt. Champion. Age 13. Turquoise with purple writing. Not quite uniform, but would probably do if you don't have set uniform

Girls' grey hoodie. Pullover type. Tesco. Size 8. Never worn

Girls' plain white t-shirt. Short sleeved, small v neck. Primark. Size 8.

White vest Age 9-10

Some white ankle socks in decent nick. Worn in P6 and P7

Burgundy woolly tights. No idea of the size, think about age 13-14

All items are clean, bit could probably do with a freshen up. In would do it, but it is pissing down here and I would never get them dry.

PM me if you're interested

Pengweng · 21/07/2015 15:26

I haven't anything to offer as my girls only start nursery this September but just wanted to say this is a brilliant idea and I will be back next year offering up anything they haven't destroyed.

SuburbanRhonda · 21/07/2015 23:09

kelly2525 · 21/07/2015 23:41

Lovely idea for a thread. I remember the dread each September because I just knew my mum wouldn't have enough money to kit us out.

I'm a teacher and there is a pile of lost property in my room that is unclaimed and will be thrown out. I'll go through it and I'll offer up anything unnamed or without the logo on in the next couple of weeks.

vikingpooboat · 22/07/2015 13:35

Thank you Rhonda have replied x

Lifeisadancefloor · 22/07/2015 14:04

I have:

1 x boys blue football shorts - sized 9/10
1 x boys black rugby shorts aged 10
2 x boys black/grey trousers sized 9
3 x boys Navy blue jumpers aged 9-14 (small sizing)
2 x boys black grey trousers sized 10

Not new by any standards but clean and free to a good home. Happy to post.
