Hi, I wanted to be clear about the thread I started before - it's not a swap, so nothing is required in return! It's for the perfectly good uniform items that you might otherwise give to charity. This way we can support each other in our mumsnet community.

I've got several pairs of boys black school trousers aged 8-9 with adjustable waists. Free to good home and I'm happy to post just PM me Smile

I will shortly have a quantity of secondary girls basic uniform - black skirts/trousers, white blouses, various sizes. I'm not 100% certain whether it will be required again in what's left of this post GCSE term.

I'll be posting the blazers on my local FB noticeboard as they're completely school specific.

Yes! People are posting! Thank you!!!SmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmile

I also have a pair of nike blue trainers size 3. Have been worn but would still be good for a term or so - plus they are "cool" allegedly Wink

boys Adidas sports top - white size 9-10 yrs

A few years old now so not current kit but
Arsenal shorts + top 8-10yrs red/white
Arsenal away shorts + top 8-10 yrs yellow/maroon

TheFutureMrsB · 26/06/2015 20:44

Queen I would love to be considered for the size 3 trainers please, my sons are splitting and as school ends in 4 weeks and he moves up to high school it seems a shame to have to go get more when his feet will more than likely grow a size pretty soon! Grin

I have a fair bit of uniform to offer to new home.

Boys Blk/grey quilted jacket. Age 7
Brand new Blk slip on plimsolls. 11
Girls cotton grey skirt. Age 3
Girls jersey grey skirts x2. Age 4
Unisex blk cotton pe shorts. Label says age 3-4, but looks more like 4-5 to me.
A few Brand new bottle green sweatshirts age 5 and 7.
A few used bottle green sweatshirts as well age. 5 and 7.
A couple of green and white summer dresses age 10.
Few girls green sweatshirt cardigans. Age 9-10
Few girls green cardigans with fluted at hem. Age 9-10.
Boys grey cargo shorts. Age 3 or 4 I think.

If anyone needs black, white with yellow or white with red socks? We seem to have looooaaaads!! Would fit sizes 9 to 12ish.

What a wonderful idea Queen.

The poverty thread has evoked a lot of emotion and memories for me tonight.

Bit late tonight but I'm going to have a look tomorrow at what uniform my DD has grown out of and get it posted on here.

WorraLiberty · 27/06/2015 00:00

What a fantastic idea OP!

I'm due to have a sort out in the next few days, so should have clothes (not all uniform items though) and possibly a few pairs of hardly worn football boots/trainers.

I'll be sure to come back when I've sorted them out.

BlahBlahGah · 27/06/2015 10:39

I would like to help too. What do people need?

lagirafe · 27/06/2015 10:56

If anyone has any boys uniform either age 5-6 or 7-8 / 8-9 I would be a grateful recipient!

I won't outline my current situation as it's a loooooong story but I have a thread here

Thank you x

What a lovely thread x

LadyDeadpool · 27/06/2015 13:42

I really don't want to do this but if anyone has any 12-13 black girls school trousrrs/skirts and white blouses I'd be ecstatic to take them off your hands then I could use the £30 grant for a new blazer. I have MH issues that mean I'll probably never work and I know it's pathetic but I'm too scared to apply for PIP so we are surviving on ESA but I just can't afford a big spend out for uniform and DD is already being bullied for being poor and it's Killing me. Sorry to be a bother.

Great thread! I will have plenty to offer when school holidays start, as kids are changing schools and a lot of stuff will no longer be suitable.

lagirafe · 27/06/2015 13:56

This is a lovely thread ladies.
