8th Dec 6pm press conference
PurpleDaisies · 08/12/2021 17:14
I wonder what they’ll say.
IsThisIt2021 · 08/12/2021 17:14
Dread to think!
Cookerhood · 08/12/2021 17:15
Plan B presumably as that's what's been leaked.
AnneLovesGilbert · 08/12/2021 17:16
Doubt it’ll start on time if he’s not yet met the cabinet.
PestoPlum · 08/12/2021 17:17
Yep plan B - bastards
Undisclosedlocation · 08/12/2021 17:17
Hmmm ‘alas, alack ,plan B, waffle, lies and half truths’ would be my guess.
Basically he will say anything and everything he can to get tomorrows headlines off of party shenanigans last year. The b*stard is playing us as per usual
the80sweregreat · 08/12/2021 17:18
I used to like plan B , then he disappeared!.
I think most of the British public will assume the B stands for more bullshit and ignore it anyway
TheNoonBell · 08/12/2021 17:18
Checks pitchfork is still in the shed, just in case.
toolazytothinkofausername · 08/12/2021 17:18
CrunchyCarrot · 08/12/2021 17:19
Yep, Plan 'Best Not Get your Hopes up for Christmas'.
Switch82 · 08/12/2021 17:20
What is Plan B? BJ expects us to listen to him after what’s happened? He’s lost all credibility. I’m not saying he’s wrong in what he wants to do as I respect Vallance and Whitty but BJ has lost all momentum.
PrincessNutNuts · 08/12/2021 17:22
Another increment probably.
Too little too late.
PicsInRed · 08/12/2021 17:22
Will they leave schools alone do we think?
CorrBlimeyGG · 08/12/2021 17:23
"Vaccines! Vaccines! Army! War!"
"Has someone got a graph?"
screwcovid · 08/12/2021 17:25
This is never going to fucking end
the80sweregreat · 08/12/2021 17:25
Boris Johnson on Plan B:
World beating vaccines and boosters
Get a booster
Err.. don't have any parties .
Get stuffed !
CorrBlimeyGG · 08/12/2021 17:25
And what the hell are Whitty and Vallance doing still standing by him? Will one of them grow a backbone and call the liars out?
the80sweregreat · 08/12/2021 17:26
I hope that Whitty and Valence leave him to it !
., that would be great
( they won't though )
PicsInRed · 08/12/2021 17:26
Making vaccines available for kids aged 5-11 (with parental consent) might be a good move.
Boosters for everyone else 18+ would be nice too.
We've fallen behind rest of world on this.
PurpleDaisies · 08/12/2021 17:27
They’re not standing by Boris. They’re standing there for the benefit of public health. Boris is the PM and he’s a utter liability to the country. I’m pleased at least we’ve got some people there who people might still trust.
ZippyZap · 08/12/2021 17:27
Boris to resign 🎉🎊🎊 now there's a party worth breaking rules for!!
PrincessNutNuts · 08/12/2021 17:27
It's here, but you have to scroll down quite a long way.
It's basically masks, WFH, and covid passes, some local powers and a reminder that the coronavirus act is still in place until March 2022 if they need to bring anything back. Like furlough.
MarshaBradyo · 08/12/2021 17:27
Emerald76360 · 08/12/2021 17:27
Yeah. I respect Whitty and Vallance. They must despair at BJ and friends
LivinLaVidaLoki · 08/12/2021 17:27
Given that omicron isn't so far causing a surge in hospital admissions and the people in hospital is fairly stable.
That they said the review was in 3 weeks and not 2 and the huge publicity around the video. Is it not possible that todays presser is about addressing that? Much like they did with Hancock and Cummings?
If they said that we are far away from plan b two weeks ago then how are we at it now?
I think given the above and the publicity around the parties - plural - that they had last year most people would find more restrictions tonight to be a complete piss take from a bunch of lying, hypocritical arseholes.
Welcomebacksummer · 08/12/2021 17:27
Such convenient timing... 🙄 the blokes a prick. He needs to resign.
