www.gov.uk/government/consultations/proposal-for-mandatory-covid-certification-in-a-plan-b-scenario-call-for-evidence

What are peoples thoughts on this proposal?
Personally, I don't think this is good.

mission creep
@riveted1 I cant be sure either way thats the trouble.
Can you not get tested for menopause? Then you can be sure?

MercyBooth · 28/09/2021 17:46

Cant get an appointment at our useless Virgin Care surgery. Cant afford a private menopause clinic.

Megistotherium · 28/09/2021 20:04

If the messed up period could be caused by menopause not by the vaccine, don't you think your comment is inappropriate?

There are many people who can't afford private medical, but blaming everything on vaccine, on covid board without being sure of cause is very ill intentioned, imo.

lljkk · 28/09/2021 21:09

Interesting that police & emergency service staff would be exempt.

kowari · 28/09/2021 21:41

Will natural immunity (proof of previous infection or proof of antibodies within a specified period) count the same as vaccination? Will under 50s who aren't eligible for a booster be considered unvaccinated after a certain time period?

riveted1 · 28/09/2021 21:44

@lljkk

Interesting that police & emergency service staff would be exempt.
and international diplomats (which I can accept)

But would like to know the rationale behind the other two categories, instead of say, other key workers.

IncredulousOne · 28/09/2021 22:59

@lljkk

Interesting that police & emergency service staff would be exempt.
"Interesting" - isn't it just?

I wonder why this could be?

After all, in such a public facing role it would surely be doubly important for the Police and Emergency Services to make sure they're not at risk of catching or spreading the disease, wouldn't it?

Are they magically incapable of transmitting the virus?

Hmmm. Help me out here, people...

MercyBooth · 28/09/2021 23:05

@Megistotherium

Guess you missed this comment then.

@riveted1 I cant be sure either way thats the trouble.

And if id been sterilised when i bloody well asked there would be no issue.

Megistotherium · 28/09/2021 23:33

@MercyBooth Meh, I think you have some issues. I stand by my comment that you made your comment from ill intentions to make vaxx sound like a bad thing.

MercyBooth · 28/09/2021 23:43

Im sick of the misogyny directed towards women when they simply want to find out whats causing the problems with their cycle. How on earth can i know at 48 which it is. Im 48 not 28.

Is the new slogan. "Risk unwanted pregnancy Protect the NHS"

MercyBooth · 28/09/2021 23:44

So why the fuck did i have the first vaccine then if i think vaccine is a bad thing.

Bizawit · 29/09/2021 00:00

Really alarming consultation. Thanks for altering to it.

FlorenciaFlora · 29/09/2021 00:08

This will become a digital ID through the back door.

Just No.

AlixandraTheGreat · 29/09/2021 00:43

@pontypridd

What do you mean by this? What is so bad about Australia in particular?

Ooh you clearly have your head in the sand. Are people really this sheltered from what is going on in the world. So naive?

No wonder Boris and his band of ducks 🦆 have such a freedom pass to destruction.

Pardon me? I don't live in England so I don't care that much about Boris - sorry. I do, however, live in Australia, so do enlighten me further on what you are going on about? (And I do have a fairly good handle on current events, thanks.)

I hate to bite, but you always seem to blame the Government/NHS at the time for whatever problem you have?

MercyBooth · 29/09/2021 02:24

I hate to bite

No you dont!

MercyBooth · 29/09/2021 02:29

I need to know whether its peri or the vaccine causing the problem so i can make an informed choice. But please keep indulging your misogyny if thats what gets you through

My misogyny? Confused

Good luck then working it out.

I guess if you only look at MSM sources, you won't have seen the footage of (for example)

...the Aus police beating a non-violent 70 year old grandmother,
...or of the Aus police firing rubber bullets at a group of non-violent protestors at the war memorial,
...or of the footage of the police officer who walked up behind a non-violent individual, grabbing his head and slamming it into the ground.

It's like something out of a dystopian sci-fi, and certainly not what I'd expect in a western liberal democracy.

pontypridd · 29/09/2021 15:41

Yes - this.

It’s not being reported in MSM. But surely you’d know about it if you actually live there ...

Geamhradh · 29/09/2021 15:44

@Lostinacloud

Should have said ‘now’ people have been sacked not no people! In fact there are an estimated 30,000 healthcare workers suspended from their jobs at present .
You should also have said 3,000 not 30,000 and that the suspension is temporary while they catch up with their vaccines. Funny how you cherry pick which lies to correct.
Geamhradh · 29/09/2021 15:45

@pontypridd

How are you finding out if it's not in MSM?
Worldgonecrazy · 29/09/2021 15:51

Isn’t the truly scary thing about Australia that the Government and Media have managed to convince a large section of the population that rubber bullets and tear gas are an acceptable response to peaceful protestors, as long as you disagree with whatever they are protesting about.

MelissaDances · 29/09/2021 16:37

OP, I don't think it's good either. They keep pushing this.
I hope I am in fact a mad conspiracy theorist, because right now I am terrified of the following:

 • that this will lead to (as someone already said) a digital ID for everyone. It will be neatly encoded with personal/'social'/medical info, and we'll all be at the end of an on/off switch. Any time you don't want to comply with the latest government mandated booster/other jab/medical procedure/climate change edict/you name it, off goes the switch and you're booted back down the ladder to Snaketown. No food, fuel, money, freedom of movement, medical care, and whatever else they can think of to ruin your life.
 • that Tony Blair, Klaus Schwab & the WEF and Big-hearted Billy Gates are the personification of evil. They don't mean to be, they don't think of themselves that way, but they are. That their good intentions will pave the way to a digital dystopian nightmare.

Say it ain't so! and that all I need to worry about is that my tinfoil hat isn't made of extra strong foil. And when the help brings my groceries he'd better not tell me he couldn't find Fuji apples.

Love and peace to you all.
