43 in Cornwall and just booked! 😁

Eccle80 · 26/04/2021 14:42

Thank you, still following hopefully for the 40 year olds to be able to book!

LittleRen · 26/04/2021 14:42

I'm 36 so not even trying yet, and hoping they will announce a choice for me.

Husband is Aug 77 and can't book yet, North West. Yet some 78 born are in.... weird.

How far away is your appointment? Any difficulties getting the second jab booked? I'm wondering if they've started'll loading appointments before people this time or not.

Checking in! Just booked for DH who is 43 for Friday, I'm still waiting for mine! (Tokyo, 41, Cheshire)

NutellaEllaElla · 26/04/2021 14:46

Thank you for the thread and the link in the previous thread. Looking out for 40 year old DH who's waited so patiently so far!

EasterIssland · 26/04/2021 14:48

thanks @MRex!

I'm debating whether to book now for bath my dh second dose or whether to wait for something bristol coming.

Might be better to book bath specially if they're going to release to 40s and they'd book the date we need... (im playing with dates as flying to visit my family in July so most likely I'll need 2 weeks between flights and dh's jab)

LondonWFuck · 26/04/2021 14:51

Am 40, can't book yet. Last tried yesterday eve. Am in London.

Deedippy · 26/04/2021 14:53

OK. So just booked for DP. Jan 78. Been trying all morning but let me do it 10 mins ago. Booked for tomorrow. North East London

Waxonwaxoff0 · 26/04/2021 14:54

DS's dad and his partner just had their first jabs. Both early 30s, no underlying health conditions. They received texts saying they could book. Derbyshire

Me too @SancerreSunsets, July 77

Well for DH. I'm already vaxxed the lucky cow bag that I am (through work) and 10 years younger.

Ktay · 26/04/2021 14:57

Sorry, just spotted this in active convos so not sure of background but in case you’d like my anecdata... My 43yo DH was able to book at lunchtime (but not at our local centre (SW London suburbs - his second jab is there though). I (9 months younger - will be 43 in June) couldn’t get in at lunchtime but it worked when I checked just now - v limited range of centres (Wimbledon, Guy’s, Islington or Basildon Confused) though so going to hold off for a bit.

IceandIndigo · 26/04/2021 14:57

41 here and still waiting. Really fed up that they seem to have decided to roll out to 40-45 year-by-year, and that we aren't being given a choice of vaccines even though many other countries are not allowing AZ for our age group.

For those who have managed to book, how does the choice of sites work? I live in NE London but I'm registered with a GP in Central London, will I be restricted to sites in my home borough?

ProfessorPootle · 26/04/2021 15:00

I booked out of borough, am in Richmond booked in Hounslow at the Heathrow airport one. Lots of my friends from here booked there as they had lots of appointments, near here is only Sandown park which don’t have any appointments until mid May and lots of local pharmacies available.

WarriorN · 26/04/2021 15:03

Here to cheer you on.

No side effects yet with AZ today 💉

42 and just booked, I could select anywhere with availability and have gone for somewhere 16 miles away in next county but good parking (mass hub in my city didn't show up despite regular page refresh).
ILookAtTheFloor · 26/04/2021 15:28

My DH can now book! Checked 5 mins ago, was no, checked now, get to the 'have you had a flu jab...' page and I was like WTF?! I've made it!!! Grin

WhenDoISleep · 26/04/2021 15:29

Also just booked in SW London/Surrey Borders. Annoyingly the large local vax centre is moving mid-May and the system doesn't seem set up to make a second appt at the new site automatically (and trying manually didn't work), otherwise my first appt would have this Wednesday . Traveling to another large centre next week instead.

BessMarvin · 26/04/2021 15:32

Couldn't book this morning. Just booked. Late 1978, east London
