In our area, my OH is going for his AZ tomorrow and I'm ecstatic as he's the last of our immediate family to receive a vaccine. Well done NHS! Thought we'd be waiting till May!

I will be 48 in June and havent heard anything yet.

AlexaShutUp · 02/04/2021 00:03

I'm 48 and had mine last week. I hope that all those who are eager to get it won't have to wait too long. It seems to be a bit of a postcode lottery unfortunately, but they are doing a tremendous job nonetheless.

FriedasCarLoad · 02/04/2021 00:04

I'm 40 and had mine a few weeks ago.

In one area close to me they were struggling to fill appointments because they're not allowed to offer it to under 40s yet.

Duckyface · 02/04/2021 00:30

In my 40s with asthma. No vaccine here.

frozendaisy · 02/04/2021 04:52

Group 10 here not a peep, but I kinda want a Moderna so hoping to get called when Modernas are delivered later in April. It's still over 50s on NHS website I checked yesterday.

Againstmachine · 02/04/2021 06:38

I'm 42 and had mine this week.

mrsknottschicken · 02/04/2021 06:53

Still waiting here. Although friends in the area in their 40s have been invited.

AlwaysColdHands · 02/04/2021 06:59

I’m 40, North West, no conditions & had first vaccination last week. I know around half a dozen others like me. Seems there’s lots of regional variations.

SpiderinaWingMirror · 02/04/2021 07:15

Lots of regional variations. I'm 53 and am having mine on Wednesday finally

musicalfrog · 02/04/2021 07:16

It was unexpected here so hopefully will be rolling out nationally very soon. 🤞🏻

47 and no sign here, but it's totally different 5 miles down the road...

ChangingStates · 02/04/2021 07:24

My dp is mid 40s and had his last week, I am late 40s living in the neighbouring borough (London) and nothing yet. It's frustrating. With all the people who have had their first near the start needing their second now I guess the pace for first vaccinations will slow right down.

Lulu1919 · 02/04/2021 07:28

People in early 40s getting calls in my area

ihearttc · 02/04/2021 07:29

I’m 44 and had mine yesterday. We’ve had a local hub opened up about 9 miles away where you don’t even need an appointment, they said any school staff or police could just pop down and be done.

KatherineJaneway · 02/04/2021 07:29

Not in my area.

Redcrayons · 02/04/2021 07:43

49 and not heard anything. Bit frustrating as lots of my early 50s friends were done weeks ago.
I do know a few people in their 40s who appear so be suddenly ‘carers’. They don’t check at our vaccine centre.

BunsyGirl · 02/04/2021 07:47

45 with asthma (previous hospital admission) and still no vaccine.

49 plus here, but nothing younger (other than occasional shout outs on social media for over 47s at the end of the day to use up spare vaccines).

Bluntness100 · 02/04/2021 08:39

I think you need to state if this is via gp or national booking.

Because it’s misleading if it’s gp, as many areas are well ahead and have been for some considerable time,

TheMoth · 02/04/2021 08:52

Wales but work in England. Early 40s and nowhere near for me. They're only just starting the 50s here and there are still people in their 60s not being done. No holiday for me this year then.

KikoMiko · 02/04/2021 08:55

Not happening in this area either. The local vaccine hub has closed to all but 2nd jabs for at least 2 weeks too.

needadvice54321 · 02/04/2021 08:59

Our doctors have been texting patients who are in their late 40's this week, I'm hoping DH will get his soon as he's 45.

AdventureIsWaiting · 02/04/2021 08:59

It only seems to be by GP - DH was hugely upset yesterday as a close friend he went to school with (so birthdays just weeks apart), who lives in a different catchment area, was crowing (and I use the word deliberately) about having his.

DH has huge (IMO excessive, but I've had to keep working outside the home throughout) anxiety around going out and being near people, so I'm desperate for him to get his first jab.

grandmasterstitch · 02/04/2021 09:00

My mum is 66 and still no vaccine. We're very behind
