No period after Astrazeneca vaccine.

I had my vaccine two weeks ago...no period and its been two weeks!Anyone else had a delayed period?

Mine was almost a week late and it’s been brutal. I never usually get period pains aside from the first day but it’s been constant throughout.

Probably wrong thread to ask on.. but has anyone missed or had a later period after the Pfizer? Mine is really delayed and after reading the AZ threads about this wondered if there was something similar about pfizer that might cause it.

I posted last week to say I was currently a week late. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks late. The other day I had terrible period pains, the likes of which I have not had since I was a teenager. Made me think 'oh today's the day then' - but no. Does anyone know if there are any studies being done on this?

I had the AZ and just finished my first completely normal period since having it.

2nd period since jab has come at normal time and intensity.

I had AZ in February and have had two normal periods since.

Mine was 8 days late, and is usually regular as clockwork.

I’m currently 50 days late after having my AZ jab in March. I never thought I’d be wishing on my period.

Gurl, I hear you, I'm full vaccinated now but haven't come on since the 19th March, I've done 3 pregnancy test and still no answers. Very strange

Hello, my period is bad too since having both AZ doses.
I had my second dose a week before period was due. It came few days later and it was extremely painful crampy.
It lasted only like a day and half.
I’m still spotting 13 days later. It definitely must AZ as my period is very regular like a clock.

My cycle has also been affected, had the jab on Monday, period was due on Thursday/Friday next week, but has arrived early today.

Still no period. Haven't had one since March! Super bizarre.

My cycles have been longer since having the vaccine. About 4-5 days late each time. I track them on my phone so I can see the change. This month I'm 8 days late and no sign of my period. It has worried me a bit as I'm quite young and do really want more children.

Mine is getting worse and worse.
Started very painful, lasted one day or two of normal flow but stopped just to occasionally spotting for 2.5 weeks. I was relieved that it stopped only to restart 4 days later again!
Also I got now lower pain . I’m worried now that it’s something else,..

My period was 3 and a half weeks late, heavier for longer than normal and really bad period pain, which I never have.

Still nothing here, mind you I am nearly 48 so living in hope it’s decided to fuck off permanently.

My period is not starting delayed by 12 days now. Have period lain but no period after second jab.

I posted weeks ago commenting like many others of vanishing period since having AZ. I had 1st does mid Feb and no period at all for 3 months, highly highly unusual for me and then had 2nd dose AZ and period within a couple of days, not quite usual though but not also the very heavy periods others have mentioned. All very strange but will never know if due to the vaccines or just a coincidence!

Update on my previous posts:

After having my first AZ jab, I missed two periods (April and then in May) which was also really unusual for me as I have a pretty regular cycle. I had some signs while it was M.I.A that it was on its way (sore boobs, etc) but then… nothing, not even any spotting. Then finally, I had my period the first week of June and it was the heaviest it’s been since I was a teenager but it didn’t last past three-four days.

I’m due my second jab this coming Monday, so we’ll see what will happen to my cycle again! Definitely think its down to the immune response our bodies have.

My last period was March .... I had Pfizer in April !

Mine was delayed by about 20 days after vaccine but I'm breastfeeding so no idea if that's the reason.

After reading this thread I was worried but I found the opposite. I had AZ in April and had my first period this week (I back to back the pill) and for the first time in as long as can remember I felt fine! I had very little period pain, didn't feel as though I was going to throw up and only had a mild headache instead of the blinding headaches I usually have - I can't remember the last time I felt normal during my period.

I had my second vaccine 2 days before my period. It’s been my lightest period ever - so weird.
