Well you mentioned the sterilisation theory and you're a conspiracy theorists.

Devlesko · 22/04/2021 18:15

Am I, it's news to me.
Seriously you might be confusing my cultural preferences, I'm not a tin hat, but I do keep an open mind.

LibbyL92 · 22/04/2021 18:24

Hello! I was 6 days late for my period after mine. I should be due around tomorrow however, no signs of starting yet. Will let you know.

(Had mine March 1 cycle since)

GiveMeTulipsfromAmsterdam · 22/04/2021 18:24

@Devlesko..... the theory of sterilisation... what the heck rubbish conspiracy theory is that ..... seriously wobble your head if you think they are trying to make women sterile... you mentioned it

GiveMeTulipsfromAmsterdam · 22/04/2021 18:26

@Captpike

Well you mentioned the sterilisation theory and you're a conspiracy theorists.
Indeed, these individuals chucking around theories... I wish posts with random theories with no evidence be taken down

Good God, it was when people were saying it could sterilise you, not that the gov were purposely sterilising people.
It was debunked really quickly, how do they know that it won't cause sterilisation for some people.
There's a difference between thinking the gov are doing it and that it could be a natural effect of the vaccine.
News, the earth is round and Bill Gates isn't micro chipping us all.

GlitzAndGlamour26 · 22/04/2021 18:58

Still no sign of a period.I'll be contacting the dr's.

If the government wanted to covertly sterilise by vaccination surely they’d have quietly kept extending the flu vaccine programme and save themselves a lot of money rather than the covid vaccine route !!!!!!

LolaAnn12 · 25/04/2021 12:23

Period arrived today, 66 days since my last one!

People are risking their health by not having a vaccine! My risk from covid is higher than that of complications from the vaccine.

You don't want it, fine. Don't post anti vaxx crap to put other people off.

Habbyhadno · 25/04/2021 17:20

OMG I missed one last month after the vaccine too. I have it this month though. I was wondering what has going on and it didn't cross my mind about the vaccine causing it, how odd!

Lunar567 · 25/04/2021 21:48

What a surprise - mumsnet is censoring questioning of vaccines safety.

HectorHalloumi · 25/04/2021 23:55

What did you post @Lunar567 ?
Just the gist or it'll be deleted again.

imsanehonest · 26/04/2021 00:05

Had the Astra jab 11 days ago, period currently 7 days late.

Evans77 · 28/04/2021 16:54

I missed my period too! Had all the symptoms of period coming but it didn’t. Did pregnancy test and negative so def the jab. Was really ill afterwards and still nauseous and not quite right

Evans77 · 28/04/2021 16:55

Was it heavier than usual when it finally arrived?

LolaAnn12 · 28/04/2021 17:04

Mines is currently the heaviest I think it's ever been, brutal!

mustlovegin · 28/04/2021 20:49

I had my first AZ dose and period came on time as usual.

mustlovegin · 28/04/2021 20:49

Not heavier either for me

Lornag143 · 29/04/2021 16:27

I had my jab on 30/3, over 4 weeks ago, my period was 2 weeks before that, so it’s 6 weeks now and still no period!

RedMarauder · 29/04/2021 16:33

@mustlovegin

I had my first AZ dose and period came on time as usual.
Mine was on time. It did last 2 days longer but the 2 days were lighter days.

I suspect they didn't think to ask female trial participants were they were in their menstrual cycle to see if there were any menstrual side effects.

RedMarauder · 29/04/2021 16:35

@Devlesko odd that they have chosen myself and a few other posters to carry on being able to procreate. They must have background checked us...

Or more likely you are talking complete and utter BS.

Tal45 · 29/04/2021 16:45

I had mine on day two of my period, didn't stop the rest of my period unfortunately. But maybe they're not bothered about steralising me as OH has had the snip already.
