But of a fun post for us. .....What are you doing when youve dropped your kids off at school on the 8th macrh. I can't wait to come home and have a good sort out /charity bag it up of all the tat numerous bits of itty bitty paper and clutter that we've collected over the last 8 weeks . After that I'll probably be bloody bored and will miss and want the kids back 🤣🤣

Revel in the silence. The house will be ALL MINE for 3 whole hours before DH come home for lunch. Then another hour in the afternoon.

Swear a lot at idiot drivers and roadworks... Silently when children in the car of course.

wendz86 · 28/02/2021 13:53

Won’t be any different for me as I’ll be working and kids will be in school which they have been anyway but looking forward to my first Friday off from work and no kids . Will clean the house , do my work out class and relax .

starbrightstarlight8888 · 28/02/2021 13:54

Working. Same as every day.

QuestionableDanceMoves · 28/02/2021 13:54

I will be going to school with DS as I am helping with the covid testing.
My first day of peace will be the 22 March- I won’t know what to do with myself!

TeaandHobnobs · 28/02/2021 13:56

Finally get some work done during the day!

The peace and quiet will be weird though, I think I will miss them a bit! And be wondering how they are getting on.

But actually work has been massively backing up while I’ve been helping them with school, so it will be a relief to be able to focus on work 100% in the day

FenceSplinters · 28/02/2021 13:57

I’ll be in school teaching.

motherrunner · 28/02/2021 13:59

I’m a secondary teacher. We won’t be teaching that week so I’ll be testing pupils.

SunsetOverEasterIsland · 28/02/2021 14:00

No school age children but I'll be working and celebrating my birthday 🎉😁

FenceSplinters · 28/02/2021 14:01

Our testing is this week so teaching can start on the eighth.

Pinkflipflop85 · 28/02/2021 14:01

I will be teaching. Properly. I will have my lovely class with me and will be enjoying my day.

FenceSplinters · 28/02/2021 14:01

Happy birthday @SunsetOverEasterIsland !

Cakecrumbsinmybra · 28/02/2021 14:03

Well we home ed anyway, but hoping their face to face groups will start back that week, as well as forest school which gives me a day off. Life will change for us more on the 29th March, finger crossed!

Cakecrumbsinmybra · 28/02/2021 14:04

Or fingers even!

manicinsomniac · 28/02/2021 14:08

I'll be teaching my classes and doing show rehearsals. In person. Finally. So ridiculously excited that I have basically become one of the children!! Grin

pommedeterre · 28/02/2021 14:10

Work without having to do online lessons at the same time. Who thought that 'just' work would feel like a relief? Fucking mental.

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 28/02/2021 14:11

I am in Wales so DS went back this week. I had a week of relaxing and glorious silence. This week I need to give myself a kick up the bus and tidy the house. Will still be done in glorious silence however :)

MrBullinaChinaShop · 28/02/2021 14:12

Trying to catch up on the past 8 weeks of work that has fallen by the wayside while I’ve been home schooling.

FinallyMrsE · 28/02/2021 14:14

Exercising, cleaning, meal prepping so we can start eating better again as I’ve just not been arsed, lockdown makes me lazy. I can’t wait, I also can’t wait to do the school pick up and listen to their excited chatter about their day x

Cactusowl · 28/02/2021 14:16

Take DD2 into school for her testing, she goes back in the 9th. DS doesn’t start until the 11th.

SunsetOverEasterIsland · 28/02/2021 14:18

@FenceSplinters

Happy birthday *@SunsetOverEasterIsland* !
Thank you 😁
ClosedAuraOpenMind · 28/02/2021 14:19

I'll be at home, working, as per. While also trying to coax/cajole/bribe DD to do homeschooling, because we don't live in England

Mumof3girlsandaboy · 28/02/2021 14:19

It’s my son’s 7th birthday and after drop off I will be off to the super market to buy him the birthday cake and no homeschool. I’m looking forward to Monday 15th when my other 3 will be going back to school and college so I can have a house to myself and clean properly without worry who is on zoom or teams.

FedUpAtHomeTroels · 28/02/2021 14:19

Wales here and Dd is hiigh school, so no change yet, she'll be here online doing her classes.

MiddlesexGirl · 28/02/2021 14:20

8th March not a lot except waking up an hour earlier.
But 29th March running up and down like a loon celebrating the return of outdoor sports.

ProfessorInkling · 28/02/2021 14:21

My DS will only attend for testing on the 8th. I’ll look forward to the Friday of that week, my day off work and tests willing a bit of peace...
