Yes, some of the news headlines are stating they are really going to ramp the roll out up Zarwahi was on Question Time yesterday and he got a bit of a beating regarding the slowness of the roll out, red tape, not using the community pharmacies etc.

It shouldnt come to this but honestly this is NHS England, Public Health England for you. Topo many cottage industries and when they need to move like lightening they cant...

I have volunteered to help with queues, car park duty etc and am a NHS responder. Needless to say have heard nothing. Also emailed directly to the head of our very large surgery offering help. Stated I was fully mobile, can do weekends, late nights etc.

Each to their own, but this bored, middle aged woman googled him after your comment and sadly find him (in a beret) to be a lot more 'Frank Spencer' than silver haired fox. Either you have dubious taste, the online photos aren't flattering or you're mixing him up with another bloke. I actually think I know who you mean, but helpfully can't remember his name!! Middle age gig in action! 🙄🙄

But supposing he did, who would you prefer to take his place? Personally I can't think of anyone (who would legally be allowed to do so). Depressing thought.

Most of our local Army base are isolating with positive Covid tests at the moment so they're fucked on that front.

He's going to waffle with shitty metaphors like the vaccine descending from a chopper like the A-Team and sticking needles everywhere like a pissed off porcupine and then encourage us to get out there and clap like fucking morons at 8pm so everyone's busy bashing Doris who didn't go out and clap, and Nelly the Nurse who has taken up keyworker spaces for her kids at school and not looking at the shit his lot are making of it all and all the contracts and money for his buddies.

And people will fall for it - and we'll get someone on here again demanding we don't call him Boris and the smoke and mirrors shall continue.

He said he'd be doing this tonight. Then as if Monday, back to daily briefings I'm not sure if he will do them or if that new woman will be doing them. (Employed last year, can't remember her name or correct title. Brain like a fucking sieve at the moment. But something like 'head of communication' 'press secretary'....?!)

It will probably be the daily figures with the obligatory ‘Next slide please,’ coupled with illegible graphs of various colours. Then Boris telling us that the vaccine is being rolled out. I can’t see there being any major changes.
