So will anyone comply now?

These pages all seem to have been about how the rules make no sense, there's no point while schools are open and people saying they'll assess their own risk but they're not going to risk their MH etc etc
Will this make a difference? It Doesn't matter what the rules are if no one follows them.
wheresmymojo · 31/10/2020 20:08
We'll comply as we have been doing the whole time, as has everyone I know in real life 🤷🏻♀️
ginberry4 · 31/10/2020 20:12
@wheresmymojo
Same here.
Autumnblooms · 31/10/2020 20:12
I imagine you would be fined if you don’t comply?
Sunsetdawn · 31/10/2020 20:13
I'll third that @wheresmymojo and @ginberry4
Titsywoo · 31/10/2020 20:14
I'll be complying yes - I'm not wasting another full lockdown which will affect so many lives negatively just to prove a point. If we lockdown it has to be worth it.
frozendaisy · 31/10/2020 20:15
Will comply, nothing will be open.
Kids still at school so our risk still as high as it gets.
LaurieFairyCake · 31/10/2020 20:15
Of course!!
With the possibility that there may be 4000 dead a day in December
Who wouldn't ?
FromTheAshes · 31/10/2020 20:21
I had been prepared to comply with everything apart from losing my support bubble. I would have gladly risked a fine for that. Thankfully I don't have to, as they are still permitted.
1stV45 · 31/10/2020 20:22
Ove complied all through too butbthere have literally been 100s of posts here in the last few days of people saying they'll be having Christmas with family regardless, or there's no point stopping their kids mixing when they're going to school etc
Waxonwaxoff0 · 31/10/2020 20:24
I will comply, schools are staying open which was my main concern so I can deal with anything else.
RaininSummer · 31/10/2020 20:25
I will definitely comply as I have all along but schools staying open fully seems a big mistake.
BlackPetunia · 31/10/2020 20:26
comply with what?? all he's done is close primary and the cafe down the road!!
smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 31/10/2020 20:26
@wheresmymojo
Same
BlackPetunia · 31/10/2020 20:26
*primark!
Lifeispassingby · 31/10/2020 20:27
We have complied all along and will continue to do so despite many people I see everyday ignoring the rules
PollyPelargonium52 · 31/10/2020 20:27
I agree Waxwaxoff. Waves to you as you live local to me I do recall! I can work uninterrupted and no grumpy teenager at home ...
Qasd · 31/10/2020 20:28
Yes because it’s the law but I don’t even remotely think it will work this time which is the big difference and I would assume many (even most) people think the same?
AuntyPonsonby · 31/10/2020 20:29
We've tended to exercise, errr ... "discretion" shall we say, and we'll continue I think.
I'm guessing there's a reason why those who are more law-abiding think everyone they know is. Our non-abiding friends tend to only discuss this with other non-abiding friends!
CoffeeChouxBun · 31/10/2020 20:29
Yes will comply - but really upset gyms and pools closing again.
Twickerhun · 31/10/2020 20:30
@wheresmymojo
And me too
user1471588124 · 31/10/2020 20:30
I wont comply fully. I live in a houseshare with strangers so cant form a support bubble but also cant see anyone i actually know, including my boyfriend. I just cant do it anymore, especially as i am a key worker and need to see someone i know to decompress as i work alone so cant chat to colleague's . Maybe you guys above think im wrong and selfish but complete isolation from anyone you know outside from 2m apart only is very very hard.
BlackPetunia · 31/10/2020 20:31
@user1471588124 not as hard as being dead!! why dont you just comply?
selfish!
RichardMarxisinnocent · 31/10/2020 20:32
@BlackPetunia
He's also closed pubs and all non-essential shops, and banned household mixing, and told us not to leave home apart from for essential reasons.
nancybotwinbloom · 31/10/2020 20:33
Yes I will still comply.
Liverpool have been slagged out in the news recently but everyone I know is complying.
Not one trick or treater tonight.
What other choice is there?!
mamaduckbone · 31/10/2020 20:34
Yep, I will comply,even though it means that I can teach 25 kids in a badly ventilated classroom 6 hours a day 5 days a week but can't see my mum. Keeping her alive is my main motivation.
Gutted for my kids that they also can go to school and mix with their whole bubble but rugby will be stopping again and they can't see their mates (who they have been at school with all week) at the weekend.
It's all shit but what's the alternative? Refuse to comply and have it all last even longer...?
