"There's something else going on. This isn't about a virus"

So I've seen this in a few posts.

The idea that there is something "else" going on or that the restrictions being put in place aren't for the virus, they are for "something bigger"

So would anyone care to share what they think this "something bigger" actually is, rather than vague mutterings on other posts?

Government practising control on the population for shits and giggles whilst the economy goes tits up?

5G?

Zombie apocolpypse?

@bibbitybobbitycats

Honestly, if Gates really was part of a conspiracy to kill people via vaccines, would he really give a bloody TED talk on it? Not much of a bloody conspiracy!
Telling everyone what your evil plan before doing it is textbook James Bond villain. Everybody knows that.

Bloody Bill Gates.

Harrysblondie · 12/10/2020 15:40

@GoldenOmber

How does Bill Gates’s evil plan to murder 10-15% of the population jibe with Bill Gates’s actual work pouring in money to eradicate malaria? Wouldn’t it be easier to just let malaria kill people?
Well I’m no Bill Gates hater but vaccines make a lot of money. Bill is a business man.
ScaramoucheFandango · 12/10/2020 15:46

As I understand it he is paying for these schemes as a way of using up his fortune.

@Lonelycrab

The virus has been engineered by the Chinese

And if you actually read articles by scientists across the globe that have made this their entire life studies, you’d understand why that’s not true.

But you’re watching randims on YouTube aren’t you.

We are talking about a conspiracy theory that I have been told about by a racist, stupid acquaintance.

Maybe I needed the emphasis on 'the Chinese' to make a point of the racist overtone to this theory.

The escape from the Wuhan lab theory has no factual basis. There's even been suggestions it came from North America.

@MyShinyWhiteTeeth yes apologies, I saw the context of your post after I’d hit post. I blame it on my post lunch nap😬

Obvious attempt at redirection by the Chinese government. That was shady as hell

MyShinyWhiteTeeth · 12/10/2020 17:31

The International Scientific Community versus Trump - who would you believe?

It's not just Chinese scientists that are doing the research. It's an international effort. Scientists worldwide are looking at different coronaviruses and comparing them. Research seems to be suggesting there were traces of this coronavirus all over the world more than a year ago.

pantherrose · 12/10/2020 18:18

Lonelycrab, Whilst i agree that so called ‘ conspiracy theories’ can attract pot heads and undisciplined thinkers, I know of people working at senior level in science and medicine both nationally and internationally who do not buy the standard narrative. There is information out there that, at the very least, should provoke deeper thought. A questioning mind is usually a sign of intelligence - to be derided as a bonkers conspiracy theorist is all to easy. Better to support your own stance by providing rock solid evidence if you are able. Despite the pandemic response simulation exercise carried out by The John Hopkins Centre (event 201) in October last year, the crisis response by most governments has been less than exemplary!

Lonelycrab · 12/10/2020 18:56

Pantherrose I certainly agree with your last point, and also that being inquisitive is a good thing, but this thread is about cv and there being a wider conspiracy between governments for whatever reason. I don’t buy that personally; it’s a virus that has originated in nature because we, as humans, treat this planet appallingly. That the actual truth of it, it’s quite boring and I think that’s why people seek a more exciting answer to tag their beliefs onto.

Many CTs fall down spectacularly when you actually ask basic questions. Chem trails for instance.

Lonelycrab · 12/10/2020 19:23

This isn’t rock solid evidence as it’s just the findings of one team, and it’s a few months old but I respect these scientists a lot more than most for giving a true picture.

pantherrose · 12/10/2020 19:39

To be honest Lonelycrab, I know nothing about chemtrails. As far as I am aware, the jury is still out on the origins of Covid 19, with not all scientists and virologists in agreement. I will entertain the possibility ( not probability) that this goes beyond government level and governments are told which response strategy to implement. One of Frances' top investigative journalists produced an excellent documentary concerning the JH simulation and the Wuhan military games which were held at the same time. Many atheletes fell ill and were visited on their return by their respective govt officials and 'advised' not to speak out. If this was known about at the end of last year or before, why the shocking shortage of PPE when news broke in the spring? Why were elderly Covid patients shunted out of their hospital beds and sent to care homes, putting the most vulnerable at risk. There are also question marks in every country over the veracity of the figures for Covid deaths. I don't believe that it is always in the publics' interest to know everything, but what we are allowed to know at this point, is quite enough to cause some head scratching I think!

Lonelycrab · 12/10/2020 19:55

Can you explain how that would work? Who is talking to who, and for what aims?

pantherrose · 12/10/2020 20:17

Yes, happy to but I think further up the post there are already some indications ( reset etc) To give you the response that does justice to your question will take time and I'm about to serve our evening meal! Will come back to you, if not this evening ( we are an hour ahead of the uk) tomorrow if that's ok.

SweetpeaOrMarigold · 14/10/2020 19:00

Do the general (non medical) public not understand normal mutation of viruses and bacteria happen all the time and it's highly likely this was just a bad one? Similar to MRSA being a nasty strain of staph aureus for example

longwayoff · 18/10/2020 07:33

@Lonelycrab. Its 'gone beyond government level'. That will be THEM deciding things then. The James Bond franchise has a lot to answer for.
