"There's something else going on. This isn't about a virus"

Iremembertheelderlykoreanlady · 09/10/2020 13:00

So I've seen this in a few posts.

The idea that there is something "else" going on or that the restrictions being put in place aren't for the virus, they are for "something bigger"

So would anyone care to share what they think this "something bigger" actually is, rather than vague mutterings on other posts?

Government practising control on the population for shits and giggles whilst the economy goes tits up?

5G?

Zombie apocolpypse?

OP posts:
FelicisNox · 10/10/2020 20:54

There is no agenda: the population is dying or going around the bend, the economy is buggered and as much as I would laugh to think the government have inflicted masks indefinitely to cover up the uglies, that's not it either.

Population control does not explain this because there are zero other benefits to that argument.

Everyone needs to get a grip and that goes double for the attention seeking twats because that's all they are. They are just trying to make themselves special and interesting and it's all bollocks.

Family1st2020 · 10/10/2020 21:01

I've also heard theyre changing the batteries in the pigeons and that they're putting cameras in them. I've heard that twice in 6m..so muct be true 😂 😂 or my teen is a numpty. I'll go with the latter

pantherrose · 10/10/2020 21:05
@pantherrose I can tell you exactly what’s gone wrong a large proportion of the worlds leaders put money before people. That’s it. This makes them stupid, small minded and stupid as greed so often does, no big secret love. You’re ridiculous.
And you’re being very patronizing. Of course greed has a part to play, but perhaps research a little more before replying, love.

@Devlesko

Sheogorath

And I find those who call anyone who doesn't believe their Facebook conspiracies, or in your case those who work normal jobs, sheeple to be lacking in brain cells.

Aw, sorry to piss on your chips, but I don't have any conspiracies on my fb. If the cap fits about you being a sheeple though, that must be so sad to spend your life like that, what a waste
Have you ever questioned anything, lol.

How sad to feel the need to arrogantly define yourself as some clever questioner in contrast to another set of humans who you need to cast as totally unquestioning sheep.
ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHaands · 10/10/2020 22:12

@DilysPrice

Applepie05 is there any chance you could clarify this remark? “Not saying I believe this but I actually think..”
Ha ha ha yes I was going to ask for clarification on this Grin
MadameBlobby · 10/10/2020 22:22

I think my favourite conspiracy is about how it’s to mandate vaccination. I’d have thought it would be easier to have used the vaccines we already had for existing illnesses but never mind.

Doods3 · 10/10/2020 22:22

Do your research instead of carrying on in life ignorantly with your eyes shut.
Type Rachel speaks out on YouTube an have a good listen. Bloody sheep people have become

longwayoff · 10/10/2020 22:27

Oh, they're all turning up here now, so it's time to check out before our brains are sucked out. Quote "think of the most stupid person you know. 50% of people are more stupid than that". End quote.

I saw the Rachel speaks out video a few weeks ago. She refers the "Plandemic", has told her sons to refuse "mist up the nose" flu vaccine and thinks that Covid vaccines will be used to place nanotechnology into people. My eyes are wide open and can see that she appears to be a conspiracy theorist.
Sittin · 10/10/2020 23:21

I’m so fed up with people who can’t seem to understand that it’s difficult to manage an entirely new (in our lifetimes) situation and that our response needs to change as the situation changes and our knowledge increases. There are no good options! The government has made mistakes, some terrible, and it’s communication methods have been Hmm to say the least. But that’s a long way from thinking that ‘they’ are deliberately doing evil things. I can’t see how any government could have a perfect response. And don’t quote sparsely populated, remote New Zealand - not much covid, but are they going to be closed forever?
I’ve friends from France and Spain and apparently the situation is very similar there in terms of what people think about govt responses. I don’t think we in the U.K. are quite as special as we think, even at being rubbish.

itwaseverthus · 10/10/2020 23:49

@AndNoneForGretchenWieners

itwaseverthus what paid holiday? I've worked all the way through. Like my fellow civil servants. Honestly, people who genuinely believe this frighten me. You can't be seriously suggesting that this is happening?
You civil servants won't lose your jobs...
AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 11/10/2020 00:54

itwaseverthus maybe not, but that does not mean that I can't have an opinion on how unbelievable I find conspiracy theories about the pandemic. It would require the majority of world leaders to a) agree that climate change is real and pressing enough to want to act together in harmony and risk pissing off the majority of their electorates; b) work together at all; c) agree that a pandemic in which a significant amount of people will become seriously ill or die, including some of those works leaders is the best way to achieve their aim and d) trust that hundreds of thousands of people who would need to be involved for it to become successful would be able to keep quiet about it.

What would be the benefit? Has got example Donald Trump or Boris Johnson ever struck you as interested in or bothered about the environment enough to coordinate this level of conspiracy? Really?

And whether or not I am in secure employment, my son is not, and other family members have also been affected severely. It is bloody difficult but it isn't evidence of a conspiracy.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 11/10/2020 00:55

*world leaders not works leaders, obviously.

DreamTheMoors · 11/10/2020 05:45

@draughtycatflap

The pancakes are taking over. Once you flip that’s it.
@draughtycatflap

And there’s a riddle. If you get the right answer you live. Get it wrong, though...

You’re riding upstream in an airplane. The leaves fall off the wings. How many pancakes does it take to fill a dog house?

PracticingPerson · 11/10/2020 05:57

Conspiracy theories abound when people are scared.

I see the appeal, is better than the reality (IMO) that we don't know what to do, and have no clue what's coming next Sad

Ddot · 11/10/2020 07:38

What it boils down to, too many people, abuse of the planet, animal welfare, if you f with mother nature she f* you back ten fold. All we can do is, eat well, keep your distance, wear your mask, get some sun on your skin (vit D) keep relatively fit, Loose that flab. Oh and of course, keep your fingers crossed. Sorry to be voice of doom. If you live in the north your buggered, south north divide. Build a plague wall. Let's face it, very few give a flying duck about social distancing

Newjez · 11/10/2020 08:22

I think minks are the key to all this. Minks, not bats. Minks seem to catch this really easily. Minks are native to North America.

I'm guessing this was originally a mink virus that the American scientists were working on as an economic weapon against china.

They implanted the virus and sat back and watched. Trump banned travel from china, but he didn't foresee the virus coming to the USA via the backdoor. Via Italy.

The Americans have had a vaccine and a cure for covid from the start. They wouldn't have unleashed their weapon without this. But obviously they can't use this without revealing the fact that they created the virus. They need to wait a 'reasonable' amount of time. But obviously when trump got it they secretly gave him the cure, which is why he was over it in three days which is unheard of.

All these facts can be checked on the internet. It's all out there if people want to discover the truth.

Newjez · 11/10/2020 08:27

@TazMac

Isn't Bill Gates going to inject us all with microchips?

I heard this too. I can’t work out why Bill Gates wants to know how often I go to Aldi though.

No one is going to inject us with microchips. All they need to do is encourage us to carry a tracking device with us everywhere we go. No, the big question is, how could they manage that? I wonder?
Ineke · 11/10/2020 08:49

Emeeno 1 but we can fully explain this one...just watch Richard Attenborough's new programme 'Extinction' .We are heading for one of these pandemics every ten years or so. Human activity is totally responsible.

Ineke · 11/10/2020 08:55

And big brother or whoever want to know already has a huge amount on each one of us, every time we use google, press a like, go on FB, buy on line, download, they have a pretty accurate and full profile on each of us. If you want to put a spanner in the works, then do something totally random and uncharacteristic.

VictoriaBun · 11/10/2020 09:07

I'm just putting this out there.
Back in the late 90s , David Icke used to come to where I worked ( stationery / photocopying ) and we'd photocopy stuff for him . Can't remember what unless he fried my brain

gingas · 11/10/2020 11:12

Has anyone ever read The Creature From Jekyll Island? I haven't but I've been told it's a out how the Federal Reserve Bank was founded. Sounds dull but apparently it reveals how the public were scammed etc etc... Just putting it out there.

Seems @cantdothisnow1 could be right about data being sold on - in The Sunday Times today. Maybe an apology is in order @Oneandzero

cyclingmad · 12/10/2020 08:21

Wow some of you are unbelievable and really can't just see what is going on, you actually believe they won't microchip people?

They have already started trialling it elsewhere:

In Sweden, a country rich with technological advancement, thousands have had microchips inserted into their hands. The chips are designed to speed up users' daily routines and make their lives more convenient — accessing their homes, offices and gyms is as easy as swiping their hands against digital readers.

Oh opps sorry this makes me a conspiracy theorist or maybe some of us just look further a field and see whats going on

And before you say it won't happen here think again..

The social point system trialling in China where your deducted points if you don't conform meaning you cannot travel etc...think it won't happen here?

Already been in the press of a health passport... or potentially only being able to go to bars, restaurants, events if you test negative.....and yes if they are saying maybe well as we have already seen maybe have turned into reality

Like I said a few yrs back when they said smart meters would never be used to allow energy companies to turn your electricity off, now they are reviewing legislation to make that happen

Good luck believing they would never do this , like some of you here say we make this up cos we are scared well I say some of u who refuse to believe are too scared to realise how bad the world really is

cyclingmad · 12/10/2020 08:23
