So I've seen this in a few posts.

The idea that there is something "else" going on or that the restrictions being put in place aren't for the virus, they are for "something bigger"

So would anyone care to share what they think this "something bigger" actually is, rather than vague mutterings on other posts?

Government practising control on the population for shits and giggles whilst the economy goes tits up?

So, all govts in all the world decided to get together and crash the world economy and kill lots of people.

I keep reading ' agenda 21' is part of this. I did look it up and it's about' leveling' up the poorer countries or something similar?
I've no idea but the internet does tend to play a big part in any conspiracy theory.
There are loads about covid!
Who knows what is going on?

If there was an agenda I think at least our government would have a plan, all I see is the government leaping from one crisis to another, there is definitely no plan just panic.

Well if it was Agenda 21 then it hasn't really worked has it?

Some of worst affected countries are in South America. A very poor region

Also in poor countries there is likely to be:

A) a younger population so fewer deaths
B) More rural population so cause of death harder to record/track cases
C) less money available for test and trace

It doesn't mean they have fewer cases

So I'm confident in calling bullshit on that one

There's a whole thing about the New World Order and forming one world government and implementing a cashless society which is a BAD THING. But then there's the QANON stuff about how all the secret elite cabal of paedophiles are getting flushed out so it's all a GOOD THING.

Now I do hate to direct any traffic at all to crackpots but if you want a laugh do head over to Vernon Coleman's website. His sombre delivery of nonsense is pretty hilarious. As is his belief that he is terribly witty and original in styling various politicians and scientists as fools.

I grew up with this stuff, it is apparently behind every corner.

Well, it's the first time in human history we've ever been able to attempt to hide from an illness. I do wonder how much of the gentle pressure to live much of our lives online that has taken place over the past twenty years was actually leading up to this. Huge coincidence if not.

Yes, and this is linked to how they are trying to calcify our pineal glands, aka the third eye, by pointing those thermometers at our heads. This will keep us compliant.

I read a book about it once, the psychology of conspiracy theories. Apparently we seek to build a narrative for things when we cannot fully explain them or they cause us fear. It is a bit like creating a story (think The Iliad or Odyssey) something mankind has done since very early times.

My theory is that in an increasingly atheist world, people are turning to crackpot conspiracies as a means of trying to create order out of chaos. Sadly, the world and universe is chaotic at our micro level!

What baffles me is the people who have managed to convince themselves that mask-wearing rules are the next move towards a fascist state. Anyone from Hong Kong (or with the ability for coherent thought) will tell you that banning face coverings is very high up any fascist state’s To Do list.

It's all just a simulation. We're part of a video game. I have to say, we simulated folk actually make better video games than the 'higher species' that created us and our simulated world. I mean, Legend of Zelda; Breath of the Wild. Need I say more?
