How long are everyone’s test results taking?

We are about to go for a family coronavirus test this PM as I’ve developed a cough and sore throat... dreading a potentially long wait

How long is everyone else waiting? Is anyone actually getting results within 48 hours anymore?

DH got his result through at about 4.30 this afternoon, so 51 hours

Daughter got tested at 6.30pm last night and results at 8am this morning. Negative

DS's test result came through by email at 11.30pm last night so 37hrs after testing. Then I got a text 7 hours later.

Thankfully negative despite identical symptoms to his positive sister.

Still waiting since 5pm Monday. London

My dad got a test yesterday at 3pm. And got results this morning at 8am..maybe they are sorting their shit out somewhat?
