How long did your test results take?

I had the test at 12.30 Saturday lunchtime at a drive in centre and still nothing. They actually told me they should be back in 24 hours (though I was skeptical of this) but now I'm worried the test may have got lost.

Has anyone else had their results later than 48 hours?

I had mine 3pm on Saturday and had the results early Sunday morning

We are nw London and has our tests Saturday lunchtime and still nothing.

I called 119 and they escalated as it was over 48 hours and said if I don't get them in the next 48 hours, we should assume they cannot be found (that doesn't mean they are lost apparently!) and isolate for 14 days from the day we took the test.

@yomommasmomma what time did you call 119? I have called twice today and just get an automated response saying they have too many callers and then they hang up! So frustrating!

Me and Dh had a test at 11 am on Friday my results came back on Saturday about 8.30 pm Dh,s Sunday morning around 3am ,they did say they could take 72 hrs though 🤷

I think it was approx 3pm. The first time I called I pressed the option for chasing test results and they said they don't do that/are too busy and hung up on me.

The second time I pressed the option to book a drive in test and the lady answered within 5 mins and said she could escalate the tests results for me and she was very helpful.

I don't think it automatically means we will get the results, but they have now been escalated and should be sent quicker apparently, as long as they haven't lost them (sorry cannot find them, not lost them!) of course!

Posted dd’s home test at 10.40am on Saturday and got the result by text at 8.26pm Monday (just now). Negative.

Home test 10 days ago.... still nothing

My daughters drive through test at 8am results at 9pm.

@yomommasmomma thanks so much I pressed the button to get help booking a test and got through to an actual human!

My test has been registered and she's put it through to be investigated so should get results tomorrow fingers crossed! Thanks for the hack

Tested 10am Sat. Result 3pm Monday.

DS tested at 6pm yesterday evening. Got his result at 1pm today. (London)

Three of us tested at the same time. 2 results back within 30hours. The other result? We are on day 8... I expect it will never come back.

Ds was invited to take test via COVID app despite not showing classic symptoms. We posted test in 6pm pick up Friday and got result ( negative) Saturday at 4pm.

Just did the same! But how many tests are being "investigated" for delayed results?
I'm hoping we get them tomorrow but I'm not totally convinced!

Thanks @HogglePoggle. Glad your result came back promptly. Just hoping I’ll get mine tomorrow and then kids can go back to school. The more I think about it the more I’m convinced it’ll be negative , think it’s just a cold but I had some loss of sense of smell. Otherwise no temperature and just a little cough which didn’t even last a day.

I'm surprised it's taking so long as there was only 2 others cars at the test centre, I thought there would be loads!
