Someone on another forum suggested Boris won't last long. I'd love this to be true! However...

ToffeeYoghurt · 24/05/2020 20:58

Or we could call it The Dom Cummings Fanclub. All those who idolise him. They so desperately want to be just like him and do exactly what he does.

GrimmsFairytales · 24/05/2020 21:00

How long before the retired teacher who clicked Dummings in Barney gets accused of being a labour activist?

He already has been. He's also been made into a villain as he's apparently 71, so should have been at home shielding. The irony was lost on the idiots who posted such tripe.

ElaineMarieBenes · 24/05/2020 21:01

I do hope ‘Boo for Boris’ on Tuesday takes off!

SouthWestmom · 24/05/2020 21:01

Gosh really? Hopefully by some random and nor anyone official.

alreadytaken · 24/05/2020 21:02

I think I'll write to my (conservative) MP pointing out what a gift it is to the opposition. Their leader insults parents who managed to keep to the rules when they were sick and everyone who stayed away when their relative was dying.

SabrinaThwaite · 24/05/2020 21:02

Boris currently 4/1 to be replaced this year.

Add Sir Graham Brady to your list of MPs to email: mailto:[email protected]

GrimmsFairytales · 24/05/2020 21:03

Hopefully by some random and nor anyone official.

I've only seen randoms online saying it, so far...

PerkingFaintly · 24/05/2020 21:03

I'm just turning up from the other end of the universe to self-isolate surrounded by fahhhhmly on this thread..

You don't mind if I cough, do you?

Roussette · 24/05/2020 21:04

Thanks for the thread Noeuf

I'm hopeful this is true.

www.itv.com/news/2020-05-24/dominic-cummings-departure-only-matter-of-time-robert-peston/

I know it's Robert Peston but let's hope...

frumpety · 24/05/2020 21:04

Hang on a minute ! If Boris and Dominic get to skip off into the distance, who the chuff is left to Get Brexit Done ? please don't say Priti

Humphriescushion · 24/05/2020 21:05

So do I Boo for Boris!

GrimmsFairytales · 24/05/2020 21:05

You don't mind if I cough, do you?

Eugh don't be so disgusting, we don't cough here. We lick every surface, and the faces of those we pass on our annual trip to Durham. Wink

tiredvommachine · 24/05/2020 21:05

Thanks for the new thread. Still reeling from the briefing, the bloke is a dick.

SabrinaThwaite · 24/05/2020 21:06

Don’t think being 71 on its own qualifies you to be shielding though?

frumpety · 24/05/2020 21:07

or Raab

The80sweregreat · 24/05/2020 21:09

Hi everyone.
Place marking

SixesAndEights · 24/05/2020 21:09

Jeremy Hunt

frumpety · 24/05/2020 21:09

I think being over 70 puts you in the vulnerable group @SabrinaThwaite , so probably advised not to dance to Abba with someone with symptoms or recent known contact with someone who has tested positive ?

The80sweregreat · 24/05/2020 21:13

If this retired teacher is 71 he probably prefers the Beatles!
Number plate recognition cameras would sort this out surely?
They do exist.

frumpety · 24/05/2020 21:14

Dear God @SixesAndEights have some consideration, Ive only just finished my tea !

alreadytaken · 24/05/2020 21:15

You are allowed out for exercise even if over 70 I believe provided you are social distancing - or perhaps he had a medial appointment.

StealthPolarBear · 24/05/2020 21:16

Just to clarify (for no particular reason other than I want to) that barnard Castle isn't a castle. The castle is ruins, very interesting, but basically a field. The town is pleasant enough but nothing will have been open - when we went we struggled to find a toilet and that was in normal times.
