Lots out cyclists out, but can anyone honestly say every one of them look like they're exercising! Perhaps more evidence for for full lockdown?

You can get take away coffee in bakeries where I live, so that could explain why you can see people with take out cups.

If there was a total lockdown then at least it would cut out all the 'can I (insert ridiculous thing that of course you cannot do)' threads.

Watching Channel 4 news where they are going on about case numbers rising in the Midlands.

And yet if they had listened to the chief medical officer today they would understand this isn’t necessarily an indication of anything to do with the lockdown.

I live in a small village in the Midlands,the place is deserted,as I suspect most villages and towns are up and down the Country,

How about photos from areas where people are abiding by the rules,but that wouldn’t cause a furore would it,then all the Mumsnetters thriving on the drama would have nothing to gripe about.

I must say these threads are endlessly entertaining.Whilst I am in the house and only leaving once a day to walk my dog.

They are idiots, but why does a handful of people out of a population of 65 million provide any evidence whatsoever for further lockdown?

Sometimes I think the people berating others aren’t the only ones “not getting it”. If these idiots don’t comply now what will be different about “full lockdown” that they will? And don’t say the police. I’ve not seen a single police officer or car when I’ve been out (as permitted).

Whilst it’s been sunny, it hasn’t been that warm for people to sit without a top on - I really hope this isn’t from today.

I thought the man at the end looked out of place with his mask and gloves yet he is what we should be seeing.
Seems like most villages are missing their idiot.

I really don’t get why people are so keen to have their already severely curtailed freedom restricted further. Utter madness. There’s some clown on another thread wanting the army with rifles on every street corner.

Yes, it does look like Kingston doesn’t it. My (80 year old) mum is too scared to go out for essential shopping because the streets are so crowded. I’m 400 miles away but thankfully her next door neighbour has been so nice and told her each time she’s doing an online shop, so she’s ok.
She’s fit and healthy, walks on Richmond Park most days of the year, but she just isn’t now.

Rather than view potentially fake videos why don't people just look at London webcams to get an accuate picture of how busy it really is. All the ones I have viewed look exceptionally quiet.

Who cares. They aren’t old. I’m sure they are staying away from old people or I’ll people. Look at Sweden .

I went out with the DC to walk in a London park today, as we are explicitly allowed to do. Yes there were lots and lots of people walking with and without dogs, soaking up the sunshine and in some cases doing workouts in ones and two, but they were all keeping a fair distance and I didn’t see any obviously illegally sized groups. Nobody was wearing masks in the park.

There was one guy just lying sunbathing with his top off but he was a good five metres from anyone else. A van full of cops drove around just to make their presence felt to make sure nobody crossed the invisible lines. I was rather more worried about them squished into their van than I was about us.

Whilst it’s been sunny, it hasn’t been that warm for people to sit without a top on - I really hope this isn’t from today.

How do you know how hot other people are feeling? It was warm in the sun today. I was wearing a T-shirt on my walk. Other people may well have been happy to take their top off.

I looked at the cameras for a variety of different Cornish seaside towns today. Every single one was empty.

Thought someone would say that! I signed up because although I read a lot I didn’t have anything to contribute until now. Can’t prove it so won’t bother trying, but yes I’ve known him for a long time and trust he’s telling the truth

We were in Regent’s Park today. Not dissimilar.

We just walked around it and didn’t stop but there were lots of people sitting enjoying the sun, reading a book etc. Ones and twos. I can’t get too upset about it tbh. Would rather people were getting some fresh air than going round to their friends house for a lock down.

My elderly neighbour is still going out to get his paper every morning from the local shop and his daughter is still visiting him coming and going throughout the day plus he's on the 'vulnerable' list with the council so he's having food delivered and left outside his door, not sure why if he's going to the shop every day and his daughter is visiting.
The family on the other side of me packed up their car this morning with three children and their bikes and haven't been back since. Looks like they've gone off cycling somewhere.
Life is carrying on as normal here so DH and I are starting to wonder if we really need to be staying at home.

And yes it was warm in London today. The sort of man who takes his top off at the drop of a hat would definitely be topless today
