Lots out cyclists out, but can anyone honestly say every one of them look like they're exercising! Perhaps more evidence for for full lockdown?

London's a big place. A few carefully chosen pics from one park don't prove much. In general, the lockdown is being observed by the majority of people across the country.

I live in Essex where multiple idiots took off for Southend sea front two weeks ago. Sensibly Southend Council have closed all seafront parking this weekend.

The reports of lots of people on the beach, having days out etc....was before lockdown.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was today, my ex housemate who still lives in our houseshare in London (I moved out 2 years ago) has sent me a few photos out of the window and from work, plenty of people about, scary.

Where are people getting the ice creams and takeaway coffees from? Nah.

Nothing like this lately in my part of london at all - although we have not been out today.

@Choice4567 I see what you mean. To be fair, other than a short walk across an empty field near us we haven’t been out since last Saturday and I’ve been doing the food shopping alone anyway.

Well London is a city so many people will be out exercising it’s not going to be empty is it. The vast majority in that footage are walking/cycling or moving in some way.

The ones that have sat down, biggest group is 2 people look how couples look so they probably live together anyway.

And no we don’t need a complete lockdown, we need the police to walk in places like this and move people on quicker. Until this lockdown is enforced properly, going to complete lockdown would be over kill

What bothers me about scenes like this is that they are occurring at a time when we have just been told that no family members will be allowed to attend cremations because of c19 risks.

In short, if your child or parent dies during this period (of anything, not just Covid) they will take the body, and return them to you in a tub of cremains. You will not be allowed to attend any church or cremation service.

It's more likely to be that lovely weekend a couple of weeks ago before people were told more forcefully to stay at home.

I'm in London, which I'm ashamed to admit after watching that.

I've left the house once in a fortnight for a very short walk near home, DH has been doing the shopping and going as infrequently as possible. We've been going without things to avoid extra trips.

Then you see those morons, laying on the grass drinking and living it up.

It won't happen, but I hope they're identified from the footage and all fined.
