Iran is firing missiles into heavily populated Israeli towns and have abandoned the pretence of targeting anything military.....this is just pure terrorism and does make you think what would happen if Iran did manage to develop a nuclear weapon.

Just hoping more of the missile launch sites can be taken out and this terrorist regime falls.

If war crimes are now modus operandi for all, none of us are safe. I would love to see these tyrants in the Haque some day. The whole sorry lot of them.

As more comes out from Iran the level of evil is incredible.

More executions, more torture to get false confessions. 1984 style oppression for 47 years.

Poor people.

Where are you getting your information from? I find it real hard to find out what's going on

And now they are being bombed 'back to the stone age where they belong' on top of all that. Poor people indeed.

Unfortunately it will never happen, because George W Bush put in place an act - The Hague Invasion Plan - which meant that no US citizen or ally of the US would ever face war crimes charges in the Hague.

Exactly what they did on the first day on the school in Minab.

Also taking a leaf out of the IDF playbook in Gaza and Lebanon, several emergency workers have been murdered whilst trying to rescue survivors.

It's a level of evil beyond comprehension, the US and Israel are committing war crimes and bragging about it.

Imagine the outrage if the Iranian regime did the same. Hypocrites,

Professor John Mearsheimer was right when he said earlier this week that in the last century we hung perpetrators of such crimes (after trial).

We do not know if Iran would do a "double tap" against Israel because they do not have the capability to do it. Their missiles are not accurate enough. And they don't have the aircraft/ Reaper style drones that can dwell and observe the target.

I do think it fair to say that if they could, they would. But they can't.

The three executions were covered in the media, the 19 year old wrestler, not as much as they should be. Amnesty has some stuff on executions, treatment of political prisoners and recruitment of 12 year olds to fight.

You can find more but here’s some

“In another distressing development, authorities transferred five young protesters – Mohammad Amin Biglari, Ali Fahim, Abolfazl Salehi Siavashani, Amirhossein Hatami, Shahin Vahedparast Kolo – from Ghezel Hesar to an unidentified location this morning, also sparking fears of their imminent execution. They were sentenced to death in a separate case related to alleged offences committed in the context of the January 2026 protests.

“All 11 men have said they were subjected to torture and other ill-treatment in detention, including beatings, floggings, prolonged solitary confinement, and death threats at gunpoint before being convicted in grossly unfair trials that relied on forced ‘confessions’ extracted under torture and lasted only a few hours.

Iran: Seven protesters and dissidents at risk of imminent execution after four men arbitrarily executed in secret within 24 hours

Update 2 April 2026: Teenage protester Amirhossein Hatami was arbitrarily executed in Ghezel Hesar prison on 2 April. According to information available to Amnesty International, a prosecution official has warned that the four other protesters sentence...

Made worse by the US and Israel's bombing.

This war is doing nothing to help the Iranian people.

Yes criticising the regime whilst at the same time tacit support for bombing civilians, health, power facilities, civilian infrastructure.

Iranians celebrating their Persian festivals, don't look like they are living under 1984 conditions.... until wiped out by US and Israeli bombs, then again an hour later....

No condemnation.

It feels like just when the world was finally starting to pay attention to the Iran protests Trump started his war.

I’m not sure anyone was taking notice of Iran. They’ve had uprisings squashed every decade or so, not much more than a BBC article.

Many still aren’t listening in any case, they think it’s fake or the support for the IRGC is there.

Made harder as @SSAW2026says there’s an internet black out.

Torture, execution and no way to tell people.

Thanks, wasn't aware of that. The naivety in me doesn't understand how a country could legislate against being tried for international war crimes but I'm not a legal expert. As it includes allies I assume that would include netanyahu?

I doubt it has ever been tested.

Obviously a little, but people aren't able to use mobiles as in other conflicts, to post. A few can get stories out, but there is very little coming out. Hence why the thousands slaughtered by the regime generated very few individual accounts from witnesses, unlike other conflicts where stories appear immediately.

That is not completely true. The media has been reporting about the protests, not just the recent ones.

In 2022 the death of Masha Amini and the protests that followed were widely reported

An Internet black out is going to squash the public don’t you think?

Perhaps Amnesty can see some of what’s happening, or the odd person has a way to do it. Who knows, that’s the impact of closing pretty much everyone off.

The article linked below covers the blackout.

This is a major issue for them. People mobilise if they can see it. Look at how many say it’s not happening on here even, if it’s not on their phones to the extent it should be.

I believe that comment from Trump was aimed at the regime (ie the regime is from the stone age) not the people that want change for the better, for everyone.

TopPocketFind · 03/04/2026 10:10

The blackout doesn't completely prevent stories coming out, people always find ways.

Taking out power plants/ electricity isn't helping.

How is he planning to prevent taking the Iranian people back to the stone age alongside the regime and country?

Horrendous for them.

I'm guessing 🤔 that the regime will end and the people triumph. How would I know. If a regime that is totally suppressive ends, maybe the people can have a better long term future.

Yes I know, I am not disagreeing with you on this. But as set out in that article some information is getting out. There was also something posted earlier about a few people using starlink, at great personal risk.
