This is just unbelievable. These ‘protesters’ are being given free rein to threaten and assault pro-Israelis (Jewish) because ‘there’s 500 of them and 2 of you’.

Police not interested in doing their job, which is upholding the law I thought?

Just sickening that this country has come to this.

I’m not entirely sure what your are saying. WTF has St Patrick’s day got to do with anything?
You do understand that, according to government counter terrorism statistics, Islamists are the biggest threat to the UK?
It’s also mad that the very same people who cry ‘death to Israel/zionists’ get all offended that someone has the temerity to criticise Islam.

Anyone who calls for the death to any nation is wrong. If Britain don't want to be a target of terrorism then they should stop meddling in the middle East they literally created this problem.

From 1516 to 1916 Palestine was 90% Arab and living under the Ottoman empire.... then Britain looking out for its own interests and wanting a presence in the middle east decided to write to a leading figurehead of the Jewish community suggesting that they overthrow the Ottoman empire and create a new land for the Jewish people who were fleeing nazi Germany.
Britain armed the Jewish settlers who instigated relentless violence against the Palestinian people kicking them out of their own homes and slaughtering them.in the hundreds of thousands.

But you think the Palestinians are the terrorists

I’m glad terrorists won’t get to do similar. Even with the other segue.

Tha how the word “terrorism” loses its meaning.

I’m afraid it’s not mnhq, sorry, I can’t help you here.

Who is she getting paid by then, since you think she is?

I would like a piece of the pie.

I know you say this but it does have meaning in the law.

Up to you if you want to test it out.

ETA I don’t think “air quotes” will help.

Alas I’m not getting paid by anyone. I have no affiliation with any Middle East country.
I do have an affiliation to the UK and should you feel it necessary to report my ‘pro Israel’ comments feel free 👍

Twisterpiggy · 25/06/2025 15:08

Why would a pro Palestinian movement trigger families in the UK who were victims of an attack carried out in the UK by someone who has been radicalised by the Syrian war?

You’re going to have to explain that one, there’s no logical connection whatsoever.

Because Palestine has a problem with Islamic terrorism, and the Manchester bombingwas an Islamic terror attack. Its not rocket science.

I won’t - I generally agree with your comments.

( sorry my comments about you getting paid were tongue in cheek, I understand you are just expressing your opinions).

So by that logic the flag of any Catholic country should also incite terror since the UK was also repeatedly the victim of Catholic terror attacks?

I've no idea what youre talking about I'm afraid. I'm just pointing out the very obvious link between Palestine and the Manchester Arena bombing.

Who was attacking in the name of Catholicism? If you're going back to Henry VIIIth or Guy Fawkes I think you're reaching. Have we upset pope Bob?

But there is no link apart from the fact that they were both happen to involve people of same religion. I mean you can't be serious?

My point is that if people in the UK feel frightened to see a Palestinian flag because for some reason it reminds them of a Syrian suicide bomber why are they not frightened to see the flag of a Catholic country given that history?

The IRA were Catholic and committed bombings on the UK up until the 90s.

I think his family were from Libya actually.

Twisterpiggy · 25/06/2025 16:59

Hamas and someone radicalised by the Syrian war literally have nothing to do with each other.
It’s like claiming the Irish flag should trigger someone involved in a UDA terrorist attack.

You know very little about your own very recent history.

ComeAsYouAreAsAFriend · 25/06/2025 17:03

The Palestinian flag (not Hamas flag) is not linked to an islamist terrorist that carried out the Manchester bombing and I have not heard anyone being triggered in that way. It was an inflammatory comparison that people have doubled down on. Stop trying to delegitimise the Palestinian flag.

Madcatdudette · 25/06/2025 17:06

Your ignorance of British terrorism history is ignorant at best.
How can British citizens understand and care about Palestine and not understand what the UK and NI went through. It was horrific for everyone on all sides. Sunday Bloody Sunday. God it burns into your soul. Irish, whether north or south were labelled terrorists. They were looked at with suspicion which was not factual.
British Muslims after 9/11 were treated the same.
We came a long way to break down those barriers. Action Palestine is not a friend to the UK.
How can you not understand that Islamic fundamentalism is the highest threat to uk security and we need to unite as a nation, now more than ever.

So you are saying that because of a government’s political affiliation the citizens should expect terror attacks?

I thought the UK supported terrorism and were on the side of Hamas? That's what I heard the prime minister of your ally Israel say not so long ago anyway and we all know that Israel always tell the truth. Seems a bit off to support Hamas but then talk about threats to the UK.

Stop trying to delegitimise UK terror attack carried out by Islamic zealots. The very same zealots that ‘govern’ Gaza
