You see this is it, the word “allegedly” again.
Crime reporting uses "allegedly" where cases have not yet been to court. It is the basic principle of innocent until proven guilty, which I'm sure you agree with and rightly so in a civilised society. However, the word is still used even where there are reasonable grounds to suspect a person has engaged in wrongdoing.
And in the same sentence the claim “ long standing members of Hamas” then the contradiction “ closely linked to Hamas” which is it ?
No contradiction. What the sentence actually says is the suspects “have been longstanding members of Hamas" and then that they are "closely linked to the leadership of Hamas’ military wing".
Not "closely linked to Hamas". Linked to the leadership of the military wing.
The secret services the world over have 1000’s of people on their watch lists. They tend to link them all together, it suits the narrative at the moment to imply they are Hamas. They don’t know this for a fact
Do you seriously think this is how secret services work?!
they are not interested in having to organise overseas terror plans, it’s not their MO and never has been.
Oh, okay, let's all just believe everything Hamas say and write, as clearly they are completely honest.
They detain people under terrorist offences on a weekly basis, you rarely read it in the main stream news though.
Yes, this is true - plenty of terror investigations do not make the news. For security reasons many investigations are subject to extremely restricted reporting. Germany, for example, has very strict restrictions around what can be reported in these cases and how. Hence the use of the word "allegedly".
They want you all frightened to justify sending arms and troops to wherever suits them.
Who is "they" here? Genuine question. Just trying to follow your logic.
