30s TTC - Butterdish Smashing World Record Attempt

1000 replies

PollyPoo · 18/02/2010 12:20

Line up, line up for the world record attempt for most dropped butterdishes per fred.

The bar is here, along with squishy sofas, some fluffy beanbags, low lighting, and most important of all, free booze.

I have installed some naked waiters (Morgan from being human, together with Russell Howard) - they have trays of champagne cocktails that can never run out, so dig in laydeez and lets make this a fred to remember.

I'm so fucking miserable at the moment and I have nothing to say for myself, but so much going on on the fred that I thought I should acknowledge now otherwise I'll forget what happened, so here goes:

Skater bloody amazing news!

Mrs G shite beyond belief

Bessie Are you ok? Any more news? Thinking of you.

Medee and Laurie and anyone else nearing the end of the 2woofl, POAS and spread some joy!

BB and Aries - hello!

Right, I'm going back in the Pit...

SomethingSuitablyWitty · 24/02/2010 15:55

Gin I am going out on a limb here, but I think iggy's fave word is poss. "superjizz" (not nobber, elegant insult though it is).

Disappointed we haven't coerced anyone into poasing yet. We must try harder...

iggypiggy · 24/02/2010 15:58

Sorry witty it most definately is NOBBER

liking superjizz too - but less so

iggypiggy · 24/02/2010 15:58

Sorry you in the pit twinks totally understand having been there myself. xx

GrumpyGasper · 24/02/2010 16:09

Twinks please to return from the pit to shout NOBBER repeatedly at iggy. Then she might give you some bumsex.

sorry you're feeling so shit

aries - a marked improvement

CockDodger · 24/02/2010 16:39

Bumsex!!!

Hello all!

Will someone pleeeeaaaaase POAS?? I need some good news today.

Come on, TT, outta the pit, there's drinking to be done!

Like Aries, I also have a crush on John Barrowman. I don't think the fact that he's gayasamaypole matters at all. Wouldn't stop me from trying....

Prolly more likely to get some bumsex that way.....

Scorpette · 24/02/2010 16:56

Having a go on Mitchell is strictly by appointment only. Price negotiable

Scorpette · 24/02/2010 16:58

PS I also heart Barrowman, despite him being moulded from pure cheese and gayness. You can just tell he's good...

Muser · 24/02/2010 16:58

Ok fredsters. Can someone please slap me and tell me that I can take next week off work as well if I need to?

I am still so tired all the time. My attempt at normal activities yesterday (opticians, cinema, dinner) left me shattered and was practically in tears with exhaustion in the waiting room today when I had to sit for over an hour waiting to have my bloods done. Then I came home and slept for 4 hours, and would quite like to go to back to bed again.

Does this sound like someone who should be going back to work on Monday? Rationally I think not, but part of me is thinking I should just suck it up. Why? What is wrong with me?

Scuse me, am going to snooze in the comfy bed I had put in the pit.

CockDodger · 24/02/2010 17:03

'Tis just for you m'dear. You deserve at least a month off for everyfink wots 'appened.

If the fuckers refuse to pay ya, send 'em my way. I'll sort 'em ahhht.

iggypiggy · 24/02/2010 17:05

muse take next week off - I totally went back to work too soon - please to take the extra time. As long as you need actually. Get Dr to sign you off.

Just snorted out loud at cockdodge and her Muffia.

Muser · 24/02/2010 17:05

Work wouldn't care, they told me not to come back until I'm ready. GP said just to call him and he'll sign me off for as long as I need (although suggested 6 months might be too excessive). I know all I have to do is pick the phone up and ask for the extra week. But I feel like I ought to be better.

Insanity.

iggypiggy · 24/02/2010 17:07

Don't force yourself back to work - or you could end up doing what I did and having random email arguments with innocent victims and sobbing at your desk - or perhaps that was just me

iggypiggy · 24/02/2010 17:08

muse I does understand the desire for normality tho - hence why i took virtually no time off. In hindsight - wish I had taken more time for menkul head.

Muser · 24/02/2010 17:14

The crying at the desk and shouting at innocent people is why I probably shouldn't go back. That and the fact I'm fairly convinced I'll fall asleep at my desk at some point.

I have a leaflet saying most people take 2 weeks off after methotrexate treatment. So why do I think I need to go back after 1 week?

Ariesgirl · 24/02/2010 17:16

Gaaaaah! Have dropped a massive faux pas re R2D2. Of course he's the source of all evil. Please forgive me. [self flagellates]

Though tbh would have preferred a different choice of droid such as C3PO. Kitten indeed

Medee · 24/02/2010 17:23

definitely take more time off Muser - if you think you need it, you almost certainly do. You'll only go back, make a cock up of something and be back at square one, wishing you had stayed off. Sorry to be harsh. Can you plan a phased return - late arrival and early departure to avoid rush-hour etc. My friend had at least 2 weeks off after an ectopic.

And as for the POAS-shouters, I will, but on Friday. Droid is due tomorrow, spotting is usual today, but no sign yet, really trying not to get hopes up but failing. I have bo piss-sticks in the house, deliberately. Temp has stayed nice and high too.

Ariesgirl · 24/02/2010 17:23

BTW fellow rugby fans, you do know that Freddie Michelak plays for the other team don't you? No I mean he PLAYS FOR THE OTHER TEAM. Ok?

Medee · 24/02/2010 17:24
  • bo

PollyPoo · 24/02/2010 18:34

TwinkleToes76 · 24/02/2010 18:40

Muse take the time off, if you feel more up to it mid week you can go in then. I have plumped your pillows in the pit for you m'dear.

TwinkleToes76 · 24/02/2010 18:42

Erm, have just read your post properly Medee, I understand now .

BUMSEX NOBBER JIZZ aaahhh, feel mush better now.

TwinkleToes76 · 24/02/2010 18:43

PollyPoo · 24/02/2010 18:54

Muser I agree - stay home. Sleep, look after yourself, watch more ER, snuggle under a duvet. Lets have some lovely cocktails with sparklers in ... barman please!
