Evening
Welcome sarahmumtoalex and goodluckbear.
Good news, I had 2 positive ovulation tests, yesterday and the day before - CD18 and CD19. This morning my temprature has shot up, so I'm guessing I ovulated yesterday . Not a BFP, but for a woman with PCOS this is great news and halfway there.
Can't help but think this month is it.
So glad I sneakly brought a pack of Clearblue digital ovulation tests (I await the inevitable now as DH reads this thread). The First Response ones were getting to me, trying to decide whether the test line was the same colour or darker than the control line. With Clearblue digital you see either a circle or an empty face. Clear and simple.
Ladies just reach for the Clearblue everytime. They never fail. Expensive, but worth every penny.
Well ask me about my first day of work, go on...
...well, I'm working alone in a dirty room without basic stationary - so I'm having to go shopping tomorrow and I've no idea of what I'm supposed to be doing because the job has changed (feels like I'm being punished for having a baby).
Met my boss' boss, didn't know who he was and shook his hand with dirty, wet hands (I'd spent the morning cleaning the desk and positioning the computer and trays etc).
Started vomiting in the afternoon.
Just as I was about to go home, the nurse came in and caught me taking my bra off. I don't normally wear bras and it was making me feel even worse. I wouldn't have been able to do the hour and half bus ride home with it on.
I should probably point out that I work for the NHS as a secretary to 2 heart failure nurses (1 of whom I'm yet to meet - apparently he looks like Jesus and is heavily into Sci-Fi).
Then I pick DS up from nursery, bring him home and attempt to spend the next 2 hours playing with him before he goes to bed. This is whilst tired and feeling sick - I actually almost vomited in his Duplo bricks bag, but was able to hold it in until I reached the toilet. DS is obviously used to me leaving him as he didn't even attempt to come and see me, just sat playing with his toys.
DH came home and whilst he was changing, put DS on our bed, closed the curtains and cue DS falling of bed (for the 17th time) and cutting his head, not to mention getting a great big bump. So then we spent 1 1/2 in A&E. He's okay.
Then DH and I came home and had an argument during sex, still carried on though - the sex that is.
And more sex tonight.
