Hi all.

Needing some extra support this time round as have just had a MC. We are trying again straight away. But I've a feeling it's going to take ages. Got pregnant first month trying last 2 times. I have 1 DC- 11 months.

I want some people to join this thread who are ready to hold hands and help each other through the TTC.

Good luck to all.

whatsthetimemrwolf · 13/05/2009 18:13

Hello, can I join too? Been lurking here for a bit!

I had a missed m/c which was discovered at my 11 week scan in early April, so I am unsure when I actually m/c. 1st AF after m/c was on 14/04 and have been TTC since. AF due anyday now I think, have tested twice already both BFN's. Feeling thoroughly obsessed with getting pregnant, but I have no idea of how long my cycles are or how to recognise ovulation. I feel pregnant now (metallic taste) but felt pregnant before when I'd had a missed m/c!. Does anyone else suffer from imaginery pregnancy feelings? I already have 2 DC and luckily fell pregnant quickly with both so I feel selfish to want another. I'm finding the idea of being pregnant occupies my every thought but am also terrified of it.

I'd like to wish everyone the best of luck TTC. BTW, what does CD mean?

boodleboot · 13/05/2009 18:36

CD i think means cycle day....i may stand corrected in a minute. i am totally the same as you wttmwolf...never had to think about ovulation signs or cycle length etc but after my recent missed m/c on 27/4 u am now feeling like this is something that needs to be approached rather than being patient and taking it as it comes.....i can see that wanting to be pregnant is at the top of my agenda and my obsession could grow if i fail to conceive quickly.....heres hoping we are not in for the long haul but this thread seems like a lovely place to come and share all our experiences good and bad....fingers crossed for us all...

Neeko · 13/05/2009 20:04

I'm joining Boodleboot and wttmwolf on the obsessing. This is my 1st real cycle after m/c and I'm on cd 15. Have been doing opks for a week now (sometimes twice a day ) but no further forward. Why does it have to be so hard?

engelbart · 13/05/2009 20:16

I'm also obsessing! And this doing it every other night business is pretty damn boring. At least its my 'night off' tonight so I can watch the apprentice rather than getting dh to rise to the challenge! My fertility monitor is still showing no signs of ovulation, which is making me obsessing more!

shyla01 · 13/05/2009 20:38

hi every one, hope you are all well.
I have a feeling af shall be making an appearance soon thought I mite have been lucky and caught this month, even though had no idea when or even if i ovulated.
never mind! at least i will have a rough idea of when to try next month. As I mc'd in march it feels like i have been waiting for a lifetime! I have always caught so easy in the past so fingers crossed.

Also wanted to say a big thank you 2 everyone on here, just knowing there are women out there who understand a little bit of what i am goin through is such a big help!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

whatsthetimemrwolf · 13/05/2009 20:40

LOL's at a night off engelbart!

I felt so down at my BFN today that I ate half a packet of goats cheese, not because I felt like it but because I could eat it!!

So is CD1 the day of AF?

I have found this thread really useful, hearing other peoples experiences and hope that there will be lots of good news to give us all hope after the sadness of a m/c.

Neeko · 13/05/2009 21:16

Hi Whats (sorry too lazy for whole name) Yes CD1 is ist day of AF and if you're temping (recording your basal temperature everyday) you should start a new chart then.

engelbart What cd are you on? I'm on cd15 and haven't had true + on opks yet. Not sure if I've missed the boat or won't have surged this month

luckywinner · 13/05/2009 21:52

Hi girls how's everyone?

I am so grumpy and angry today, I have no idea why. I also have the funny pelvic pain feeling I sometimes get just before ovulation. I have no idea what is going on with my body.

Sympathise with the obsessive feelings. They are all consuming aren't they?

Wouldn't it be nice if we got the first bfp on this thread sometime soon. Keeping my fingers crossed for all of us for the next few months.

engelbart · 13/05/2009 22:08

Neeko - I'm on cd 9 and I know this is quite early but still.. I just know I'm going to be manically depressed when/if my fertility monitor shows that I haven't ovulated this month. Apparently it's very common in women in general to not ovulate now and again. Are you using ovulation sticks? I've read on here about lots of women who've used sticks that haven't shown they've ovulated but then turn out to have a bfp! So there is hope...

whats- I've enjoyed my night off tonight although it does of course mean dh will be busy tomorrow . He did suggest getting 'down to business' tonight but I told him its not necessary, every night would kill me! Plus from what I've read in fertility books, every other night should do the trick.

Lucky- I wonder if it is ovulation pain you're feeling? Will you be able to act on it this month do you think?

HappyBump · 14/05/2009 05:37

Englebert = glad you've enjoyed your night off. I think my DH is relieved I haven't tried to be spontaneous with him for a few days ...

I am definitely trying to spot pregnancy symptoms ... I have been "forcefeeding" myself chocolate biscuits as a symptom .

I had my mc at the end of March and this is the first cycle since I am CD21 ... so the days are dragging until I can test. I am obsessing every minute. I guess the first time I can test is one more week?

boodleboot · 14/05/2009 07:58

we decided to 'wax on' night last night and i must say that as it felt so surreal to have a set mission in mind [make me a baby]i got the giggles....big time giggles that shook the whole bed and got a MILLION times worse every time DH reached towards me....this started DH off and i must say i think it was just what we needed as we haven't laughed as hard and long since before the MC....we did calm down eventually and accomplished the mission in hand...

WE WILL ALL GET THERE....

luckywinner · 14/05/2009 10:30

Boodle, we 'waxed' too last night! Was watching desperate housewives where Lynette is supposed to be having sex every night and I half heartedly laughed at the suggestion that we wouldn't be able to do it then realised the opportunity!

So Engelbart to answer your question yes, I am acting on my tummy ache in the hope that it is ovulation pain

engelbart · 14/05/2009 19:33

Where is everyone? . No night off for me tonight, still doing the every other night bedding. Feel shattered after work to, so not really in the mood, but needs must!

Does anyone have any news - any signs of ovulation, AF or dare I whisper it BFP?

TotallyAndUtterlyPaninied · 14/05/2009 19:34

Hi all,

I'm still waiting on 1st AF since miscarriage. Did yet another test the other day and it was BFN and I'm now officially obsessed with my dark nips lol. It's getting silly, we didn't even wax-on while I was ovulating lol. Waiting on the Angel Gabrielle's appearance lol.

Boodle- Love your optimism, we will!!

I have restarted the baby diet after some serious take away tucking in-age lol. God damn lettuce

luckywinner · 14/05/2009 20:17

I'm here!

I am absolutely convinced I am ovulating right now as I have familiar tummy ache I usually get when I ovulate. So we waxed last night. Do you think we should do it again tonight? I'm tired!!! And dh is working late.

Totally, how long is it since your miscarriage?

Neeko · 14/05/2009 20:26

Yes Lucky you should do tonight, tomorrow, miss a day and go again apparently -phew, you'll be shattered!
I got a + opk today but DH isn't back til tomorrow so we'll have to hope that soo enough. Opks let you know up to 48hrs in advance though, so here's hoping.

luckywinner · 14/05/2009 20:37

Oh man, I am soooo tired . This better be worth it!
Neeko, you better go for it girl tomorrow night. We need a bfp on this thread soon.

Neeko · 14/05/2009 20:47

I'll do my best. Are you still here? shouldn't you be busy by now?

luckywinner · 14/05/2009 20:50

dh still at work. can't do much without the inseminator.
Sounds like a bad arnie film doesn't it .

Neeko · 14/05/2009 20:51

good one

TotallyAndUtterlyPaninied · 14/05/2009 21:14

Lucky- MC was 15th April- so just over 4 weeks.

Hope 'The Inseminator' returns soon and you can get on it.

Thandeka · 14/05/2009 22:43

I have snuck on to join this thread as my "inseminator" is bloody well asleep and I am sodding ovulating for first time since my MMC and I am very cross with him! (have started a whole other thread about that on conception).

But anyhow hello ladies!

jardins · 15/05/2009 09:01

Thandeka, I've found you again! I'm pleased about that although I empathise totally about your 'inseminator' being asleep at the wrong time. When they're asleep, they're asleep. Any update? Did you murder him in his sleep? I'll be in touch soon.

Have finally got round to calling my GP as have been dragging myself around with a nasty sore throat.

I'm on CD 27 and still waiting on AF. I had brown-tinged mucus two days ago and nothing since. What's that about? Maybe the throat virus thing is messing up my cycle.

A good day to everyone

whatsthetimemrwolf · 15/05/2009 11:03

Hello everyone. I'm on CD 32 and still no AF. Tested again and BFN. I've been using the pound shop tests, anyone know if these are less sensitive? On CD 18 & 19 I had brown spotting. Could this have actually been my period? Do periods normally take a while to go back to normal after a m/c?

Hoping theres some good news out there!
