Hello everyone, no tickets required, just jump on the TTC Bus, and let's hope we'll all be getting off at the November Stop.

Add your name to the list as follows:

For anyone not familiar with the acronyms....that's what number child you are tring to conceive, how many cycles you've been trying, what day you are on, and what your usual cycle length is.

Good evening all

Hope everyone is ok?

Just popping in, nothing to report!

Hobnobfanatic · 04/02/2009 18:50

Ditto Hannahlouhoo! I have nothing to report yet - will start BD-ing this weekend and am cutting back on my tea and coffee addiction, thanks to the earlier posts. How will I cope?! Once pg, I go off the stuff, but I never knew it could affect TTC.
Anyway, hello to the new joiners - and to the long-term bus passengers!
Good luck!

hannahlouhoo · 04/02/2009 19:02

Well something to report i have been bd this weekend! nearly everyday, since wednes! Still having my morning coffee cant give that up just yet!! Feeling v. positive this week so i dont know if that means any thing!

Good luck guys!

I've added myself to the list. Here's hoping we have a list of graduates at the bottom soon (preferably with me on it!)

Desperately trying to stay positive this month. Think we started BDing too early last month so will start slightly later so we don't burn out this month. I'm desperately trying to fill my diary with appointments out of the hospital I work in, as I feel so desperate for #2 when I see the mums and newborn babies pass my office.

Is the bar on the top deck still open? Got no interesting alcohol in RL so fancy a virtual "screaming orgasm"!!

louisean · 05/02/2009 08:15

violet bubbles i'v been drinking fruit tea too but after the sixth cup at work, its starting to get a little tedious!

one thing i'm worried about if i get a hopeful BFP is that i will have start maternity leave a little earlier, im a lifeguard and i cant imagine me jumping in a pool at 6months pregnant!!

what jobs does everyone do?? xx

fatandiknowit · 05/02/2009 09:16

Have decided to cut back on the diet coke - trying to get down from 8 per day to 6 this week then 4 next week and so on!

louisean I'm a boring old Customer Service Co-ordinator - no where near as exciting (or I suspect as rewarding) as being a lifeguard. So it'll be standard maternity leave start date for me - as late as possible!

louisean · 05/02/2009 09:21

fatandiknowit i wanted to carry on as late as possible because i get bored easily sat at home but no chance there! i wouldnt say rewarding, not had to jump in yet (touch wood) but knowing my luck it would be when i'm heavily PG lol!!

as for the diet coke i have cut out tea and coffee but totally addicted to dr pepper, which im going to find hard to cut out!! good luck with giving it up!

Hi everyone

Just popping in to say hi - hope everyone's having a good week! I, for one, am v happy that January is over - not long now til Valentine's Day - twoot, twoot!

louisann I bought a mix of peppermint, green, redbush, white, and fruit teas for variety. Also, I bought a teapot and am using proper tea leaves, which is much more fun than boring old teabags. I miss coffee though, so, so much!

fatandiknowit · 05/02/2009 16:28

Hi Violet - hope you enjoy all those teas - certainly sounds like you've got it covered!

I'm glad January is over - looking forwards to my break at CenterParcs soon - complete with BD'ing!

Welcome on to the bus new joiners !! Some of you I recognise from October - sorry AF got you.

Thanks girl and ralphie for updating the ever growing passenger list.

I got a positive OPK today woo hoo so more BD for me later.

damnit yes go ahead and add a CD on for everyone if you are first to update.

louisean what a fab job you have ! How exciting to be a lifeguard, do they do maternity baywatch style swimsuits. I work as an account manager so if I get lucky I should be able to carry on up until fairly close to my due date as I work from home a lot. So unfortunately the snow has not stopped me doing any work.

Who's testing first then ??? No early testing I hope..... violet jenBM how is the waiting game going ?

OP posts:
RipMacWinkle · 06/02/2009 08:02

Morning all - just checking in and updating hthe info.

Fifi - good news on the positive OPK. I'm going to try using them this weekend for the first time ever. Am quite excited. It feels like I'm taking a wee bit of control.

Maybe some of those at the bottom of the list can let us know what CD (cycle date) they're on. Just so we know who's getting close to testing

Hope we have lots of lovely BFPs this month.

violetbubbles · 06/02/2009 11:57

fifiok - AF is due on Monday - was going to wait to see if she arrived before I tested. I'm thinking that the likelihood of me getting pregnant in the first month of trying is v v slim as I was on Dianette for about 11 years...

That said, I'm still very excited that there could be even a teensy weensy chance that I might beat the odds...and get pregnant sooner, rather than later!

HomeintheSun · 06/02/2009 13:07

Hi ladies, I'm having a bit of a shit day (again)it's DH's birthday today but he's still away. DS and I went to toddler group and DS didn't play, we went to a shop to collect some photos and he threw a tantrum because he wanted to go into another shop, then he ran out of the photo shop and I had to chase him, he's still not eating, I did get my hopes up at lunch time because he told me what he wanted but when I put it on the table he pushed it away saying "NO, NO, NOOOO" so he's had no lunch. DH (hopefully) comes home tomorrow and we'll start BD'ing then although a couple of days in a hotel on my own would be great but I'd make do with breakfast in bed, and being able to have a wee in peace. I can't believe we're trying for another. Can anyone offer advice on the not eating thing as I got no where with the HV.

Afternoon all!

Just been stuffing my face with marmite toast in an attempt to up the folic acid intake

HomeintheSun Sorry to hear you're having a tough time of it Sounds like you need a break... How old is ds? How long's he not been eating for? My ds will be 2 in a couple of weeks, and definately goes through stages of eating practically nothing, and then at other times eats enough to stop me worrying for a while. They really do put us through the wringer though sometimes don't they. I do try to stand firm with ds, but it's easier said then done. Will your ds eat anything in particular or is it difficult to get him to eat anything at all? I hope dh relieves the load a little when he gets back tomorrow.

Violet I do so hope that you get a BFP first try! That would be wonderful if you did!

It's getting more exciting now that people are thinking about testing Good luck Violet and Jennybensmum for early next week. Fingers crossed...
