Turtle- you and me both! although i was thinking more 'limbo', but 'hell' is probably a better fit.

i mean you start ttc and you assume you'll get a BFP or AF will turn up. Nothing prepares you for this no-man's land of not knowing. really sucks, doesn't it?

i was wondering if it might have something to do with the fact that i only ovulated on CD20? Possibly?

totalmisfit-yes. if you ovulated on day 20 you should be due on day 34. I, however, ovulated on day 17. That should give me AF two days ago. Argh.

Looks like I may have another 25 day cycle that is two in row now Feel very much like the witch is coming very soon.

If she does do I just get calculations for both 25 and 28 days and just spend next month doing bedroom athletics with both in mind?

oh, ok. but my cycle's usually only 31 days and has been like clockwork since stopping breastfeeding... [confused as hell emoticon]

Just cracked and did another test...bought a cheap one at chemist's (in the bargain bin as going out of date soon...i waste too much money on last minute tests) and I am now holding it up to every available light source as I THINK I can see something...I may just be mad, though...

I'm in the same boat apart from BFN but this is because I haven't tested yet because I feel so utterly certain Auntie is about to visit. Desperately fighting urge to test - basically cowering from BFN that I feel is coming. Though, like you my pmt symptoms have subsided.

It sucks.

nunnie- i suppose there's a chance your cramping might be implantation (you know your dates better than me of course, but just thought i'd say as i had cramping a few days before i was due and i'm now 3 days over)

Guys quick question how soon does implantation happen? Ive been having a few cramp/sharp pains going on last day and a bit wonder if its anything?? Af isnt due till about the 26th if im correct on my estimations or am i imagining it as i want to be pg as we all do????

totalmisfit well my fine words came to nothing as I tested yesterday in a moment of weakness. BFN as expected. Still no sign of Auntie and boobs still sore but I guess it's just a really long cycle.

I have noticed my weakess over testing is in direct proportion to my time on Mumsnet - am so suggestible. Am now hanging off the back of this Routemaster and thinking of hopping down onto the pavement.
