Hello everyone, no tickets required, just jump on the TTC Bus, and let's hope we'll all be getting off at the November Stop.

Add your name to the list as follows:

For anyone not familiar with the acronyms....that's what number child you are tring to conceive, how many cycles you've been trying, what day you are on, and what your usual cycle length is.

amyboo - hang in there, and if you really can't stand the wait then try the first response tests. They say you can use them from 6 days before af but the percentage accuracy jumps up at 4 days before.

andi0411 - an average cycle is 13 or 14 days past ovulation so if you waited until say cd25 or 26 then you should be fine. Or use a first response in another day or two.

Good luck ladies!!

mum2madkids · 25/02/2009 11:34

Hi, can i join you?

I am currently on CD 18 of my first cycle ttc #4. My other children are 4 (twins) and 15 months old.

I am hoping for a November baby (although any month will do!)

I am looking forward to chatting to you all.

Devongirl · 25/02/2009 11:48

Hi mum2madkids - you sound very brave to go for another one with 3 under 5s! Brave or mad! I find it hard enough with one 2 year old!!! But welcome to our thread of mad neurotic women xxx

mum2madkids · 25/02/2009 12:21

Lol, thanks.

I think i am mad to be honest! My youngest is really laid back, and the other two are now at school, so it shouldn't be too bad lol.

HomeintheSun · 25/02/2009 12:53

I'm on cd30 and had two days of cramping and thought I was about to come on but so far (fingers crossed) no sign of af arriving.

andi0411 · 25/02/2009 12:55

Hi- thanks Scarlotti that makes sense as when I conceived my little boy I tested a v faint pos on cd25. I will test on Sat.I had a chem pg the month before last- I got a pos PT on cd27 then neg on cd 29 and the worst possible AF/MC. I just hope that it has upped my fertility so to spk,as when I conceived my dc I had just had a MC at 6 weeks or so.
Welcome to the new folk- mum2madkids I would love loads of kids!! My boy is 20 months and very good, i do wonder though about the sleepless nights etc again...aaargh!! I'm no spring chick y 'know!!

andi0411 · 25/02/2009 12:57

ps Boots are doing First Response on a BOGOF- I did not succumb today as I would have had to use them.

latestarter2009 · 25/02/2009 15:29

afternoon everyone....congratulations to the BFPs and commiserations to the AFs.

i've been trying to be less obsessed this month and not post much....am on CD14 and have had three high days on the monitor, so I guess i will soon be in the 2ww and then we'll really see how much i am managing not to obsess

just reading that boots has a BOGOF on first response makes me want to rush down there..thank god it is way off yet

does anyone know what the new OVwatch is on fertility friend? i can't work out what you are supposed to record?

i have updated the list, but i was a day behind, so others may be too

Right I am now cinfused, not only did AF come 3 days early, but it only lasted 3 days, is my body telling me I am changing it was as heavy as a normal AF, but then went brown (errrrrrrrr tmi sorry) now nothing. I have a feeling there is more to come, it is just giving me a rest maybe, the calm before the storm

jennybensmummy · 25/02/2009 16:33

hi all, im cd15 and having some pains like period pains but not as strong (i have period pains really bad!!) could this be implantation or ovulation pains? if ov pains is it too late for bd'ing for a chance now?? im usually 28 day cycle so not too sure as not done ov tests much as never get on weith them and get all confused as to when i did them etc and when i do actually do them i never get a positive!! so im thinking as i been trying for ages and did with my son i may have problems that are satopping me concieving, but that aside at cd15 what could the pains be - i never normally get them except day af starts, and sometimes for a day or two during af, never before!! please tell me this could be good?!

megglesco · 25/02/2009 16:34

Hi All,
Latestarter - I'm with you. on CD13 today (BDing now as I ov. late typically). Just popped back in here after 10 days of no charting, ffriending, or Mnet-ing. I think its done me some good! But, will lurk at the back of the bus cheering others on

BTW, just googled Ovwatch - seems to be yet another device designed to suck money and mental energy away from us poor souls!
Ok, completely appeals to my nerdy/OCD side, , but I'm pretty sure DH would decide I'd lost it once and for all if I went around the house wearing this thing on my wrist! Not cool!!!

nunnie · 25/02/2009 16:56

Right tis is doing my old nut in now! Had anyone ever experienced a implantation bleed, similar to AF, but earlier and shorter?

Am I just kidding myself

damnitdamnit · 25/02/2009 17:20

as i thought it would AF has arrived. Good luck to everyone, id better go join the December thread.

MissieMoosMummy · 25/02/2009 17:47

They seek it here,
They seek it there,
The gynes seek it everywhere!
Is there a beanie,
Who can tell?
As elusive as the Pimpernel

Yes, that's right, I still don't know if I'm properly pregnant.

Went to the E.P.U. on Monday for a scan. After a good ol' rummage, the consultant found some fibroids (there when I had dd) and a thick, juicy endometrium - but no bean, dead or alive. "looks like you're not pregnant," says the gyne.

They did a pg test and found a weak positive, just like I did. "Looks like you are pregnant," says the gyne, so sends me down for a hcg blood test.

Got the test results yesterday : 16! Blardy 16! Too high to be the remains of last months mc, but not quite high enough to be a bfp.

Consultant sent me for another blood test today, so if the count is about 32 then he said I can assume I have a very, very, early but viable, pg on my hands. I'll get the results tomorrow morning. So here's hoping!

FFS, surely it shouldn't be so hard to find out if you're pg or not? You know how it goes: POAS, get result. Thats how it's supposed to work If I am pg, I suspect DC2 is going to be very high maintenance [fed-up-with-DC2-already emoticon].

Anyhow, sorry about the long ranting session. On a happier note, one of my friends told me she's a few weeks weeks pg, and I was totally happy for her! No odd sad feelings at all, which means that all this mc and missing beanie drama isn't getting me down yet

Oh, and congrats Scarlotti!!

RipMacWinkle · 25/02/2009 18:55

Have my usual pre-af warm up show so she's on her way.

Congrats to all the BFPs and hope there are more to come.

Fingers crossed for me that a December baby is for me x

nunnie · 25/02/2009 19:14

MissieMoosMummy, bloomin nora no wonder your confused and angry. Hope the results tomorrow, bring you some answers.

vtiredmummy · 25/02/2009 19:16

Hi all, well I was lucky enough to get a BFP! Have such a randon cycle, I tested twice with First Response and got BFN (I guess too early to register?) But have now got two BFP's on Sun and Tues. I think I am a little bit addicted to weeing on sticks

Good luck to everyone on the 2ww or ready to ttc for a December baby x

barnowl · 25/02/2009 20:27

I have been feeling soo queasy today, fingers crossed thats a good sign. I might toddle down to boots 2morrow, take up the bogoff on tests. I'm ttc#4 cycle1 CD32 UCL35. I think I've got the hang of the anacronyms now!

scarlotti · 25/02/2009 21:25

Congratulations vtiredmummy!

nunnie - how confusing for you
I think you can have implantation bleeding, or just random bleeding and still be pg, but I guess you're not going to know for sure until you test.
Are you still planning to test on Friday?

barnowl - fingers crossed for your test. Sounds promising! Get down to boots and then get testing Friday am!!

To the graduates - I started a thread on the pregnancy board in case we wanted to keep in touch with symptoms/worries/rants etc.
Nobody has joined yet.. not taking it personally just yet...!!

Hobnobfanatic · 25/02/2009 23:27

Congratulations everyone!
And good luck tomorrow MissieMoos - you must be going round the bend with all the ups and downs. Fingers crossed for you - let us know how you get on.

HomeintheSun · 26/02/2009 07:19

congratulations vtiredmummy

Good luck Missiemoos fingers crossed for you today.

Barnowl that sounds promising.

I'm at 14DPO today, i've still got cramp and going to test tomorrow (if af doesn't arrive today)but as I'm still having my coffee in the morning and have no symptoms I'm not holding out much hope for this month.

amyboo · 26/02/2009 08:04

I'm still hanging on to my sanity - just. Af is now 2 days late. Spotting and cramps stopped completely on Tuesday afternoon. Have my parents visiting for the weekend, so am going to hold off testing till after they've gone, as I'm crap at keeping secrets! Fingers crossed this could be it. I don't seem to have any symptoms apart from feeling a bit dizzy every so often, and a racing heart ocassionally (but I have a heart nurmur, so I don't think I can really count that as a symptom). Hmm, think I'll spend the weekend with my fingers and toes crossed and hope my parents don't notice!

amyboo · 26/02/2009 08:05

Oh and congratulations vtiredmummy!

nunnie · 26/02/2009 09:18

Right I tested last night, BFN, clearblue the second window didn't get a full line it only got a little line in the top the rest was clear, does that mean the test was dodgy?
Not that it matters now as AF has returned, I am guessing all the stressing has messed my cycle up, think I will just leave it to nature and try to stop symptom spotting.
Am going to boots for painkillers today (sports injury) might have to get some more tests if they are bogoff, I will get DH to hide them from me though
