Congrats Scarlotti!

Thinking of you this weekend Hopeforbundleofjoy

nunnie · 24/02/2009 11:31

That might mean everyone is a day behind on the list. I am not going to change it incase it is just the odd one.

hopeforbundleofjoy · 24/02/2009 11:34

im not sure if ill actually get my bfp but my smell has got alot better recently and am still off certain foods. hopefully it will be a start of a new erar(sp) for me and dp.

nunnie · 24/02/2009 11:39

Fingers tightly crossed for you

nunnie · 24/02/2009 11:46

Right I am over my self pity moment.
Anyone for a drink here at the back?

dancingqueeen · 24/02/2009 12:25

hi, I haven't been on here for ages, due to a rather stressful and busy month. glad to see the list of bfp's, congrats ladies. Not holding out too much hope for this month as has been horribly stressful, planning on testing saturday but may give in on thursday when I buy the test (would give in sooner, but theres no where to buy them in my village which has got to be a good thing!)

georgimama · 24/02/2009 12:33

Now that my two Friday testing buddies have fallen by the way side (bad luck Nunnie, congrats Scarlotti) I will confess to having down a sneaky test on Sunday, but it was BFN . However, I am vainly clinging to Fruitpastel's experience in the hope that like her I just tested a wee bit early.

I will test again on Friday if no AF between now and then.

Nunnie, I hate dissing GPs and I seem to do it all the time, but my GP was convinced my bloods were normal, and as soon as my consultant saw them he diagnosed PCOS and gave me Metformin. Four years is a very long time.

nunnie · 24/02/2009 12:39

georgimama, 4 years did seem like a long time, but was worth the wait, I was going on the presumption that my body would work quicker for the 2nd and I would fall pregnant early on. But alas I presummed wrong. I will continue as normal for this month, if no joy, am going back to GP to see what they suggest cos I don't think my mental state can handle 4 years again, I fear I may already be clingy on to a what little sanity I have left, I also suffer from butter fingers, so I don't hold out much hope in clinging onto it for much longer .

I have been thinking, where is the fun anyway, I like the not knowing and the symptom spotting with a bfp the fun is gone

nunnie · 24/02/2009 12:40

Forgot to say sorry for the bfn, fingers crossed it was just too early to show. If not we can start planning the next test date

georgimama · 24/02/2009 12:45

Absolutely, I have no objections to December babies, August babies, February 29th babies, I'll take what I'm given!

I really am expecting AF to start any day now. Am always annoyed when I use a test because I'm a week late, it's BFN and then AF starts next day. Waste of money apart from anything else!

I make myself late just by thinking so much I am sure of it.

eeyore2 · 24/02/2009 12:55

Congrats Scarlotti!
All my symptoms have disappeared now, I did a sneaky test this morning at 10 DPO and it was a BFN. Even though I know there's still an outside chance I've now pretty much given up hope for this month and just waiting for AF to arrive probably sometime over the weekend or Monday. Have also now had to give up hope of becoming a mum before my next birthday, which is at the end of November, sigh...Will make sure to enjoy a nice glass of wine the moment I spot AF!
Nunnie, I really feel for you, good luck with the doctors/tests etc.

cyphercat · 24/02/2009 15:32

can I come in? I just started my period today so I can start properly now!!
cyphercat TTC#2 cycle 1 CD1 ucl 26-39

fatandiknowit · 24/02/2009 16:22

I think I am off the bus today as AF arrived today (2 days early again - now cycle is 24 days long!)

Not sure if my next date would also be November or December so have joined the December thread

Better luck to you all!

HomeintheSun · 24/02/2009 19:45

Congratulations Scarlotti georgimama I'll test with you on Friday if AF doesn't arrive first, I'm on CD29 and my cycle can be as long as 34 days. I've only got cheapy ebay tests so expecting a BFN.

Welcome to the bus Cyphercat (big wave)

barnowl · 24/02/2009 19:48

I'd like to jump on the bus too.TTC#4 trying to hold off testing as long as poss 'cause I have long cycle. These boards are great when you're stressing it's nice to know you're not the only one. I thought it would be easier by now but hey ho!

hopeforbundleofjoy · 24/02/2009 19:55

im holding off testing! hopefully be testing on friday!!! don't think afs on its away usually feel diffrent around now if it was!!! fingures crossed for bfp

dancingqueeen · 24/02/2009 20:47

am finding the wait to test really hard this month! symptom spotting with a vengence. had weird cramps on sun/mon that have gone now, kind of like period cramps but felt a bit different, is that what implanation cramps are like and when do you get them. and now nausea, including a bad wave that woke me up in the night.... but is it too early for nausea to mean i'm pg? symptoms probably just stress related though and i'll be getting my hopes up for nothing (again!).... oh i hate the waiting bit!

scarlotti · 24/02/2009 21:24

dancingqueen - I had nausea from Sun afternoon and got my bfp this morning so it is possible!

Good luck to all ladies testing on Friday

Fruitpastels · 24/02/2009 21:37

Dancingqueeen, I had nausea for a week on and off before I got my BFP, I'm around 3 weeks pg. Wishing you luck.

TishB · 24/02/2009 21:37

congratulations scarlotti that's wonderful for you...keep us updated on how you get on

sorry AF got you aideesmum & earlynite (sorry your about your DH feeling like changing his mind, stay positive hun, big hugs)

well i will keep fingers firmly crossed then .... . it gets harder each time AF arrives...

amyboo · 25/02/2009 08:50

I've been cramping and spotting for almost a week. Now on CD29 and no sign of af. I've only had one cycle so far off the pill, and it was spot on 28 days... I had awful cramps yesterday that really felt like af coming. No sign last night however, so bd'd and they went away! Now today there's nothing - no cramps, no spotting... I'm gonna try and hold off to test for as long as possible, cos I don't know if this could be it, or if my cycle could just be longer than last time. Argh the waiting is torture and I keep symptom spotting slaps self on wrist

andi0411 · 25/02/2009 08:55

hi all- i haven't been on here for a while but have been following the thread and congrats to all the bfp's!!!Sympathies to the bfn's....

I'm on cd 21 today and succumbed to a pg test yesterday- very def a bfn but i know it's too early. Madness.

I used opk's this month and got a pos on cd 12- what would be the earliest i could test?
Cheers.
