Hello everyone, no tickets required, just jump on the TTC Bus, and let's hope we'll all be getting off at the November Stop.

Add your name to the list as follows:

For anyone not familiar with the acronyms....that's what number child you are tring to conceive, how many cycles you've been trying, what day you are on, and what your usual cycle length is.

ive got two so ill do one tomorrow and then one on fri morning- wont be able to post till after my driving lesson tho!

nunnie · 20/02/2009 20:54

Good luck Hopeforbundleofjoy.
Fruitpastels, my af is due 25th too, so test with the Friday crew. There is a thread somewhere, there are a couple more testing around then too, maybe we can all keep each other sane and send a virtual hand slap when one weakens and reaches for a test

hopeforbundleofjoy · 20/02/2009 20:57

nunnie yeah i started that thread! yet i carnt help my self coz of the quavers incident today!

nunnie · 20/02/2009 21:01

I just realised that when I posted
Sending lots of baby vibes in your direction for tomorrow.

HomeintheSun · 20/02/2009 21:17

Hi I need info from someone, I know cd1 is the first day of a period but when do you count days post ovulation, is it the day you ovulate or the day after??????

scarlotti · 20/02/2009 21:42

Homeinthesun - it's from the day after. So you get O day, then 1dpo, 2dpo etc.

Will go look for the other thread too then, the more threads the better to help me stick to my resolve!

Hopefor - good luck with your testing tomorrow!

hopeforbundleofjoy · 20/02/2009 21:50

for everyone testing soon who wants a bit of extra suport ive started this one up www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/707710-testin-on-the-28th-feb-any-one-else

scarlotti · 20/02/2009 21:55

I just found you!!

I need all the support I can get to wait until the 27th!

HomeintheSun · 20/02/2009 21:55

Thanks Scarlotti that makes me 8dpo yeay the 2ww is going quickly. Count me in for the testing on Friday. going to bed now cause it's late here, I'll catch up with you all tomorrow.. night

MissieMoosMummy · 21/02/2009 03:08

Yes, I know it's an ungodly hour to be posting, but I can't sleep so I thought I'd do my Tesco shopping whilst it was quiet.

Sending out a big hello to Kyte, Devongirl & TetleyTea - get yourself a drink & enjoy the ride. I've added the missing names to the list.

Sorry AF caught some of you

Hello again to aideesmum and ForcesSweetheart ( & to see you've joined us). Hope this is a lucky thread for us all!

Lastly, but not leastly big & congrats to SlipOfTheTounge on her graduation!!!

Now that it's Saturday, I have officially cleared 10dpo and am on to day 11, so either I'm pg again or I've extended my luteal phase by 1 whole day [happydance emoticon] - Go team B-complex & progesterone cream!

Lol at you ladies with the mad obsessive symptom spotting! I must admit that my symptoms are definitely not in the mind anymore - had AF-like cramps Thurs & Fri but no AF, and raging nausea. I ran to the loo retching my guts up this evening when dd invented a new game called 'put-the-armpit-of-daddy's-used-shirt-under-mummy's-nose'. Usually I find the smell of Dh's BO to be inoffensive to non-existant. Now he smells like a stinky homeless guy.

I'm still reserving judgement though - I could just have a stomach bug. No need, however, to feel in awe of my self restraint and patience not testing in the face of such evidence: I have a shipment of cheapie tests arriving in a few hours, and will be peeing on them daily with wild abandon until I (hopefully) get a bfp, and then thrice daily thereafter .

Morning all

MissieMoo - thanks for a cracking laugh first thing in the morning! Hope your package of cheapos has arrived and you soon find out another package will arrive in about 9 months time

My temp spiked this morning, at 8dpo so am hoping that's a positive sign.

Anybody else got a 3 yr old boy hell bent on throwing things or just general destruction? Not sure where this has come from..!
Maybe I need to buy that mumsnet toddler book

rainbowdays · 21/02/2009 08:16

I have just redone roll call to reposition myself from the top to the bottom of the list as my possible due date has leapt from the 1st Nov to 28th Nov - 'cause the wicked old witch has got me. . But at least I get to stay with you lot for a bit longer So I am going to the bus bar for about 5 hot wiskey's in a row, to dull the sore throat and back pain that I have at the moment, please excuse my wallowing in self-pity for a little while! I will try to get positive about life again soon.

hopeforbundleofjoy · 21/02/2009 08:17

im not sure if i tested too early as my afs are all over and can be up to 6 months apart- did a test this morning and got a bfn any advice would be great. im off to work now so will check back in later.

nunnie · 21/02/2009 08:29

Sorry for the BFN hopeforbundleofjoy. May have been to early, try again Friday with us and see.

Fruitpastels · 21/02/2009 08:38

Sorry for the BFN hopeforbundleofjoy - same advice as nunnie.

Scarlotti, my ds is 3 as well. Seems very normal behaviour for boys

scarlotti · 21/02/2009 08:46

Hopeforbundleofjoy - I'd agree with nunnie too. How many days past ovulation are you? I'd be tempted to try and leave it until at least 12, esp as your af's are all over the place. It can take anything from 5 - 12 dpo for implantation to occur (according to ff - wealth of info on there) and you won't get a surge of HcG until then. You need a very sensitive test to pick that up too.

Fruitpastels - thanks for that, feel bit better knowing it's not just my ds then!

What do you think the chances of conceiving are if I am really stressed? DH has a really crappy job that he hates an it's bringing him down, therefore me too, and I can't seem to relax but everytime I think about trying to relax it makes it worse. HELP!

TTC#3 Cycle4 CD1 UCL 28
ok so im TTC#1 cycle1 CD1 UCL26 ok so ive been using a persona monitor for 16 months for contaception i have one pack of sticks left and i am going to try and use it as a fertility monitor this month. Im being uber optimistic and hoping we will conceive this month as it would be perfect timing for my work as i am self employed and will have to cease trading. But im 27 and as far as i know fit and healthy, so i am hoping i will give birth the end of this year and i can have the quietest months off. Well here goes best of luck everyone... x

rainbowdays · 21/02/2009 12:05

Devongirl - stress might help!!! I concieved my first child when totally stressed (won't go into details but it was bad) and was also away from my dh for 5days while oving, and totally convinced that it was impossible that month, but it happened. I also spent the first few months of being pregnant under high stress too, but my ds1 is fine. Stress might mess up your cycle but it will not stop you concieving or hurt a pregnancy! I hope this offers some reassurance for you.

Lauralai - Hi and welcome

violetbubbles · 21/02/2009 12:16

Lots been happening on here in last 24 hours - enjoyed reading all your news!
AF arrived this morning A bit sad of course, cos it means I'm defo NOT pregnant, but happy at the same time as it means I've had my first natural cycle in over a decade!!!
