Hello everyone, no tickets required, just jump on the TTC Bus, and let's hope we'll all be getting off at the November Stop.

Add your name to the list as follows:

Twigs - are you hiding for a reason? wondering if you have news?

I am waiting to see if good old af will arrive or not. She should be here but is not yet. But BFN on tests. Having had the last two months with early miscarriages I am surprised to see truely negative tests again, it has been ages since I have seen one!!!!

So can someone pass me a good old guiness from the bar, I am too lazy to get up!!!!

scarlotti · 20/02/2009 14:32

hel9a - sorry Af got you, but if it's any consolation I think it's good to go through one cycle before conceiving after having your coil out. I've had 2 m/c's at the end of last year and I'm pretty sure that the 2nd one might have been because we didn't wait for a full cycle after the first m/c.
At least you can relax now knowing your body has righted itself back to it's natural state and next month you'll be in tiptop condition for a little bean that might be on the way

scarlotti · 20/02/2009 14:38

nunnie - am impressed, you have the willpower of a saint!! Ok, I will do my very best to hang on until Saturday morning then (I can't believe I'm agreeing to this!!).
FF tells me to wait until Friday to test as it is ..... can I persuade you to test on Friday instead?!

violetbubbles · 20/02/2009 14:43

Thanks Scarlotti! I'll try again in a few days and let you know how it goes! .

I think I've been willing myself pregnant - imagining that I have lots of symptoms when really I don't...I have a very active imagination! !

scarlotti · 20/02/2009 14:46

You and me both violetbubbles so don't worry about that. Look forward to hearing how you get on in a few days.

georgimama · 20/02/2009 15:00

Nunnie and Scarlotti - would you test with me on Friday next week? I'm CD25 now.

scarlotti · 20/02/2009 15:03

georgimama - am happy to test with you on Friday. nunnie - you in?
I'm CD22 today so a little behind you both but af would be due Friday so as long as I test first thing then it should be reliable.

amyboo · 20/02/2009 15:28

Hmm, there seems to be a few of us in the same situation. I'm CD24 today. I've had spotting since yesterday - still some very faint spotting today, cramping since last night, and boobs feel big. I don't normally get any symptoms before AF, but then I was on the pill until the end of 2008, so I'm not sure if they have just been supressed with years of taking the pill.

Anyway, parents are coming for a visit on Thursday, so I'm gonna have to hold out till they leave, as I'm rubbish with secrets, and wouldn't want my folks knowing until I was a few months gone. I think the wait might kill me! Last cycle was spot on 28 days, so if af isn't here by Wednesday, I think I'll take it as a fairly good sign. Argh.

nunnie · 20/02/2009 15:28

I am in. Fingers crossed we are all testing on Friday and we are all smiling Saturday!

georgimama · 20/02/2009 15:36

My boobs are a bit tender but that could be my immense powers of psychosomatic symptom generation!

amyboo · 20/02/2009 15:38

Ha - it's really easy to "project" symptoms isn't it? Everytime I get a headache or something I have to stop myself thinking it's a "symptom"!

Devongirl · 20/02/2009 15:40

This is good - it's making the anxiety feel much more healthy because we're all as bad as each other so I'm glad I've joined up with you lot! Last month I thought I had every single symptom going then AF arrived a day early. I keep saying to DH that I am determined not to become crazy over it but it is really hard to keep sane isn't it!

x

scarlotti · 20/02/2009 16:06

Devongirl - that's the beauty of this thread!!
I'm in the same boat as georgimama, convinced that my boobs are a bit tender but it only really seems to happen when I think about the whole pg possibility. Sounds like a psychosomatic thing to me.

A whole week to wait is going to kill me but I will be strong ..... and bleat on to you all in the meantime so be prepared!!

violetbubbles · 20/02/2009 16:17

I know...I must stop Googling "early pregnancy symptoms"! I got a stitch the other night at the gym and rushed home to google if that was an early pregnancy symptom! I even had my nose stuffed into my jar of coffee this morning to see if the smell of it made me feel sick! It didn't. Must get a grip! .

scarlotti · 20/02/2009 16:33

LOL!!
[mentally marks the sniffing coffee idea and wonders if there is a jar at home...!]

Last time I was pg the smell of petrol made me feel queasy, but not until a little later on. I have been tempted to go fill up the car for the heck of it.
Sad thing is I'm only 7dpo, so unless I'm a wonder conciever I don't think there would even be any symptoms yet!

nunnie · 20/02/2009 16:57

we are all offically obsessed with TTC, I have done all the above I google every slight thing, the coffee thing is the most annoying, cos I know as soon as I go off that it is a sure sign, but I haven't yet not even the cheap stuff I brought to make me think I had gone off the taste, I actually like it!

I thought it was just me that did this, it is so good to know I don't need astraight jacket! Or do we all?

georgimama · 20/02/2009 17:09

Mince was my thing last time, the smell of minced meat frying made me gag.

Am going to cook spag bog tonight.

If it makes me gag I will tell myself I must be PG. If it doesn't I will remind myself that last time that symptom didn't kick in until about 10 weeks.

Every way a winner!

scarlotti · 20/02/2009 18:43

Do you think we should start a thread for 'loony women who are obsessed!!'

hopeforbundleofjoy · 20/02/2009 20:12

i usually love the smell of quavers but today a customer came into my shop and was eating them and i had to run to the toilet to be sick but was not actually sick

hopeforbundleofjoy · 20/02/2009 20:13

im testing next sataday if i can last is anyone else??

Fruitpastels · 20/02/2009 20:28

I leave the house for 1 day and you've all been very busy!

So next Friday is testing day for some of you. I'm not sure I can last out that long My af is due around the 25th (I think).

I don't tend to get any af symptoms apart from on the day it arrives. So this cramping and aching makes me want to believe it's all leading to a BFP next week. I've seemed to be feeling all these symptoms for over a week now, so I'm hoping it all means something, or I'm totally barking mad

I'm due to go to a party at the weekend. I really don't want to drink, so I have to dream up an excuse, especially as I like a tipple or two or more

I so hope we have some new graduates next week - lot's of luck girls!

Fruitpastels · 20/02/2009 20:43

Oh and I keep weeing for England!

hopeforbundleofjoy · 20/02/2009 20:45

IM GOING TO DO A SNEEKY TEST TOMORROW, I CARNT WAIT ANY LONGER!!!

hopeforbundleofjoy · 20/02/2009 20:45

woops- sorry for Caps.

scarlotti · 20/02/2009 20:48

hopeforbundleofjoy - why don't you test on Friday morning with the three of us?
The more the merrier I say

Sounds promising with the quavers!

Fruitpastels - I'd be hard pushed to wait for another two days if I could test earlier too, so don't feel bad if you crack earlier! You can keep us going with your testing.

Oh, and there's always the tried and tested antibiotics excuse......
