Hello everyone, no tickets required, just jump on the TTC Bus, and let's hope we'll all be getting off at the November Stop.

Add your name to the list as follows:

For anyone not familiar with the acronyms....that's what number child you are tring to conceive, how many cycles you've been trying, what day you are on, and what your usual cycle length is.

monkeybumsmum sounds like you definiteley had a better day & night than me hehe

i am a lifeguard & supervisor of a leisure club, sounds great but really isnt!

what about you?

monkeybumsmum · 15/02/2009 11:21

It does sound great Bet you are really fit!!!

I'm a nursery assistant in a school in Brussels - we have 4 and 5 year olds, so the equivalent of kindergarten I think in the UK... I love it but it's knackering!

Fruitpastels · 15/02/2009 11:57

Anyone else feeling they're pregnant so quickly after ovualtion?

TTC#2 and used ovulation kit on my first cycle of TTC. I'm now on day 7 after lots of BD over ovulation time and have aches/cramps and pulling sensations. Don't recall having this feeling when TTC ds until 3 weeks along

Could be my mind playing tricks, or I'm very well tuned in!

louisean · 15/02/2009 12:32

monkeybumsmum lol i'm not as fit as you would think, when you look at it all, all day everyday the last thing you want to do is get fit
yeh i can imagine its a tiring job x

oscarsmumm · 15/02/2009 13:41

Hey everone hope you don't mind but can I jump on board ?

Oscarsmumm TTC#2 Cycle1 CD25 UCL 28

HI all - just a quick hello before DH and I jet off to the pictures!
Hope you all had a GREAT V Day yesterday - n lots of bding across the country. Am at the mo holding out til AF is due next sunday - have gynae appt on wed, going to do my list tomorrow for what I need to ask - she/he's not getting away lightly this time. Have pep-talked DH, got him riled up about how we haven't been monitored at all for past 7 months so hopefully he'll speak up and give them what-for on wed.

Please please please - any pointers on what to make sure I find out on wed would be much much appreciated! Thanks in advance all
Mwah x x

FifiOK · 15/02/2009 19:58

Hi everyone - sorry gloom alert. Just got back from seeing good friend who has just informed me she is expecting. I am happy for her of course, but she is a heavy smoker, heavy drinker, unfit, as is her DH. I knew they started trying last month but she thought they had missed the critical days as her DH had gone out and got too drunk to perform one night and then she had done the same the other night.

So I am feeling very for myself and only just managed to get out of their house without bursting into tears.

My AF isn't due until for another week and I am really struggling with the wait. Having loads of crampy pains all the time but had that last couple of months too and it only ended in AF.

Gloom over now - but please chuck some baby dust my way.

Hobnobfanatic · 15/02/2009 20:57

Fifiok - it's so upsetting, isn't it? I feel the same when friends get pg and then I feel so guilty for being jealous and thinking so negatively. But it's only natural and our time will come - I know it will. Hang on in there!

HarryJoesMummy · 15/02/2009 21:59

Hi I know I'm a bit late for the bus, but can I join?? TTC #2, cycle 1, CD25, UCL 28.

Looking forward to seeing what happens - good luck everyone!

TishB · 15/02/2009 22:09

oh Fifiok soo unfair babe...sometimes when I hear stories like this I think we on here are too obsessed with all our ov kits, bloods, hormones, grapefruit juice, herbal teas, zinc, vits etc....

Maybe we should all REALLY chill out!!! Although I don't believe I could put all this ttc business to the back of my mind - it might help to try!

Hope you're feeling a bit more cheerful now, goodluck to your friend with her pregnancy and hope your week goes quickly while you wait! You expecting AF same as me? Mine's around sunday...

babydust to all...

MissieMoosMummy · 16/02/2009 00:08

Poor FifiOK! That's such difficult news to take when you've had disappointments of your own. Hope you have a bfp too, then you and your friend can enjoy your pgs together. I'll pour you a couple of vodka martinis, as I tend to find my troubles melt away after putting back a few of these.

I've now got 9 days of my 2ww left, and feeling much cheerier than when I added my name to the list 14 pages ago. I was concerned that my cp/mc could have been due to a short lp(9 days), so I started taking 100mg of b-complex daily until ov, and severely restricted bf (dd is still not happy about this and harrasses me at every opportunity - she is nothing if not single-minded ).

It seem to have had some effect as I ov'd on CD19 instead of CD23; if my ucl stays the same, then I will have lenghened my lp to 14 days!!

Hopefully I won't find out and get a bfp instead :D

I've added the newcomers to the list and updated for the new day, cuz I'm quick like that!!

FifiOK, I had the same experience too, with a colleague at work last week. Big hugs to you for not crying in front of her. I found it soooo difficult to say congratualtions rather than "IT'S NOT FAIR, IT'S NOT FAIR, IT'S NOT FAIR!!!"

georgimama · 16/02/2009 09:26

FifiOK, been there, bought the T shirt and the special commerative mug and tea towel.

It is really hard to take when that happens, you actually start to think other people don't deserve to be pregnant which is (mostly) nonsense of course.

Tip - don't watch Jeremy Kyle or any day time chat show. It will make you very cross indeed with all those chavvy teenagers who seem to get up the duff by tripping over each other.

LittleOneMum · 16/02/2009 10:26

Oh no now I'm left off and I feel very sad. Maybe I have to be put on my someone else?

skibelle · 16/02/2009 10:49

Hi everyone, can I join too please? I'm new on here, but really pleased to see lots of people going through the same things as me, esp re friends getting pg!

We are TTC#1 Cycle 4 CD29 UCL 30

but don't think it's going to happen this month. November it is then!

rainbowdays · 16/02/2009 11:14

OK in my inebriated state on the bus I have noticed three quiet ones on the bus, who are at testing stage surely????? - any news ladies:

Koumak · 16/02/2009 11:39

Fruitpastels I felt pregnant since day one but that could be just my body playing cruel game ! You know the expanding waist line (yes really) the sensitive and really heavy breasts etc. No sickness though I didn?t suffer any morning sickness with my first pregnancy so that doesn?t mean anything. I am going to test at the weekend. If I can wait that long didn?t find out until me was5/6 week with my ds but then he was bit unexpected...

georgimama · 16/02/2009 11:47

No one has to be put on by someone else. I think sometimes the cut and paste goes wrong.

Just copy the whole list and add yourselves on.

nunnie · 16/02/2009 12:40

Have there been any success stories this month? Or is everyone being really good and testing later .

I have my blood tests tomorrow . I have been out and brought really cheap coffee, so I can go off coffee, the coffee thing was the first thing I noticed when I was pregnant, I went off it very early on. Now every morning when I have a coffee I wish myself to hate it, with cheap coffee I will hate it, but at least I will know why and not get my hopes up.
Does that make sense or am I just sounding like someone people would avoid in the street ?

Nunnie we both should be avoided in the street...in fact I shouldn't even be allowed out. I do exactly the same with tea. Because I'm repulsed by it when I'm pg, everyday now I hope I won't feel like a cuppa - only I always do. Having a lovely one right now. Doh.

hopeforbundleofjoy · 16/02/2009 14:01

i got took to liverpool for v.day, we did loads of bd whist we were there as my most fertile day was 13th. and he bought me a teddy and is takeing me out for a romantic meal on wed and buying me summert nice at the weekend. this may seam like a daft question but has any one else been told to avoid caffien and alcohol, i have recently gone of all daiy produce and the smell of choch knocks me sick. also if you don't usuall have periods how do you know when to test?

SlipOfTheTongue · 16/02/2009 14:09

Hi everyone, haven't been on much lately but due on today, and as yet no sign so am keeping my fingers firmly crossed! Won't test til the weekend probably, if I can last that long!
