First time TTC?!! Let's get through this together!!

Hi All,

This is a difficult time for most women (and men) I think.

Certainly for me, I've waited a long time to get to this stage , having not met Mr Right until the age of 31. Now 34 and got married 2 months ago and now want to complete the family!

So, just started "trying" for a baby and due to my impatient nature, have already started using Ovulation Kits. (Probably not a good idea). I also did the Female Fertility Test and that seemed to have a good result aswell.

I was on Dianette for 8 years and came off of it 3 years ago. My cycles became regular again but every 5 weeks instead of 4. I had previously come off of the pill for 6 months and my cycles were regular, so I guess all this is a good sign.

Anyone else had similar experiences and fallen pregnant quickly? I know everyone's different but any good news stories help move us all along!! .

Welcome, crushagrape and wildfig. I love this place, DH and I are not telling anyone in RL about TTC (altho MIL is really trying to get any info she can out of DH!!) so it's really useful

Bonifacio I'd love to live in NYC. DH doesnt want to live anywhere other than England tho, so I guess I'll just have to make do with loads of holidays

I'm going to start on the book tonight...quite excited - does that make me sad???

talking about programmes that "date" you does anyone else remember when going live was "going live" before allthat "live and kicking rubbish" - and am I the only 1 who still remembers their phone number?? 01 811 8181

I sooooo remember "Going Live" but do you remember the "Multi-coloured Swapshop" with Noel Edmonds?!

But the best has to be "Timmy Mallett" with "Wacaday". "It's Saturday, no school today, so what you gonna do? There's no excuse to stay in bed we're waiting here for you! SO! Wide awake, your show, CAN'T REMEMBER THIS BIT, join us, get it together, get set, LET'S GO, (dur dur dur) IT'S WACADAY!!"
