Starting thread number 4, can you believe it? Congrats to everyone who has been lucky the last few threads and for those who have had recent losses again or new, keep strong, you are amazing. To those still trying, it will happen, myself included there and we will support each other.

I'll just include a foreward for anyone new who joins us, this is a supportive group for anyone who has had a loss, no matter how early or late. Everyone here has experieced the upset and understands.

Ive gone through the list and more than likely left people out so add anyone you think I've forgotten.

Congrats on all the BFPs

Hope all goes well tomorrow with the scan @Ella31

@moosey89 really hope the spotting is some good news & not your period

@DonnaWhat still the same for me with the opks with them going up & down

Yesterday I was feeling pretty good. Felt good that I’m finally back to TTC. But today I feel pretty glum about it all! No real reason why, just overthinking it all & it’s just feels overwhelming. And also due to see a pregnant friend soon & it’s making me anxious. I just don’t cope very well being around pregnant women, brings all my sadness & jealousy to the front of my mind

It's so hard being around others. And remember don't feel you have to if you aren't able. People should understand. 🥰🥰

@Figtree11 seeing pregnant women is so so difficult, I did and even still do to a degree, feel a deep sadness as it makes you automatically relive the loss.

You're an amazing friend to see her, remember that ❤️

@Ella31 hope the scan goes well today xx

Morning everyone 🌞 It’s our first month ttc after miscarriage and on logging my temperature this morning NC has changed my confirmed ovulation day from CD18 to CD24 (yesterday). Seems weird as I had a positive LH CD17 and EWCM around then but it does make sense from a bbt point of view.

So frustrating as we (stupidly) stopped trying two days after original ovulation date so have likely missed this month and now have to wait longer until next fertile days. Which feels like ages away.

Just needed to share! Sending baby dust to all x

Figtree11 · 31/07/2024 07:21

@Ella31 @ThelastRolo20 thank you both. It’s just such a reminder of what I’ve not got. And feels like it will be the elephant in the room as I don’t want to talk anything pregnancy. Thanks for understanding. My DP doesn’t really get it

@Bellebg im sorry if you’ve missed ovulation. I am the worst with tracking ovulation so dtd every 2-3 days until period is due in case I miss it. Does become a chore after a while though! Your next chance will be here soon, although I know in TTC each week feels like forever

ThelastRolo20 · 31/07/2024 09:55

@Figtree11 my husband didn't either! He just said "can't you separate their journeys from your own" er no, not really 😂 only go if you want to though, don't put yourself in a situation just for the benefit of the other person xx

Haha yes this is exactly what my DP said 😆 Ahh what it must be like to think how they do! Thank you, I feel like a bad friend for not going, and I do really cherish the friendship. But know I’ll be worrying before going x

jellyfish2 · 31/07/2024 12:52

@Figtree11 I find seeing pregnant people really difficult too, even now I'm early pregnant again but it just reminds me of what I have lost and what I might again.
@moosey89 how are you today? Did you have any more spotting?

Figtree11 · 31/07/2024 18:16

@jellyfish2 yes that’s exactly this. Hope you are getting on ok

@Ella31 how did today go?

moosey89 · 31/07/2024 18:20

@jellyfish2 still spotting.....3rd day now! So frustrated 🫠

MisssMarion · 31/07/2024 18:44

As I didn't want to be disappointed again i was trying to really keep my hopes down this month and to not symptom spot until I test, which has been super hard as I won't test until 14dpo.
But... I got the results from my day 21-progesterone test and I can't help but try to read into it. The good news is that my levels are high which indicates it's very likely I ovulated. They're actually even above the normal range and there's a note saying it could indicate pregnancy... I'm freaking out!(and I'm gutted as it's another week until I test) 😣
Do you have any experience with this test?

This is exciting!! How many dpo are you now? Are you not tempted to test now? 😊

MisssMarion · 31/07/2024 18:56

@jellyfish2 I'm 8dpo according to premom. I don't think I'll test as I know how a bfn will affect my mood... and it's likely to get a bfn before 10dpo which is when we're leaving.

I really don’t want to be that person but I did a progesterone test on 7 dpo two cycles ago. So, my progesterone level was 59.4 nmol/L which was 18.68 ng/ml. I didn’t get a BFP. However I really hope that this is not the case for you!❤

MisssMarion · 31/07/2024 20:23

Oh thanks @LucyCL I don't want to get my hopes up for nothing so I appreciate it. I'll treat this month like any other!

Yes mine was low last month and today I did a folicile test which showed I am about to ovulate as I had a dominant folilice ready to burst. So it looks like i tested too early last month. So if your test is high that's great. Fingers crossed.

Really good. Ultrasound showed a dominant folicale ready to burst and I'm getting strong opks today so they know I'm ovulating. Thanks a mil for asking. How are you?

Hi all,

Would I be able to join this post? I'm desperate for a community to feel less alone with. I had a very confusing and complicated loss earlier this year. I started spotting at 6 weeks, had 2 weeks of them not knowing what was going on or being able to find the baby, but my hormone levels weren't high enough but also didn't drop. It was a suspected ectopic, so I had to have an emergency laparoscory and they found the baby at the junction of my tubes. Very rare and traumatic at the time.

We have been lightly trying again since recovery with a couple months off to breathe and heal. I'm feeling in a much stronger place now and hopeful - but the tww does take its toll, which I'm in now! I just wondered what people's tips were in their journey - tracking, temp checking etc? I currently do none of that and we have sex everyother day from cd 8-cd17 and I have a 25-28 day cycle.

Thanks everyone and I'm so sorry for all of your losses 💚

Hi @PearlCat sorry about your loss, it sounds awful. You are in the right place. Everyone here has experienced loss myself included. You sound like you are on the right track. Do you know when you ovulate as that will probably aid you in knowing when to be intimate but if you are a regular 28 day, I presume you are somewhere in the middle. Feel free to ask any advice.

Positive opk at day 17 this morning. I'm amazed as since my late twins it's been day 19 I get a positive. I can only attribute it to going back on folic acid only and vit D. Way more egcm too.

moosey89 · 01/08/2024 11:03

Looks like AF will be here properly today or tomorrow. On to another cycle 😞

PearlCat · 01/08/2024 11:13

@Ella31
My cycles pre-loss were always bang on 26 days but now they seem to vary by a day or so each time so I assume through egcm that I'm ovulating between days 12-14. We try to have regular sex every other day as when I did use OPKs I think we didn't do it as much from trying to target. I am considering getting an ava bracelet to temp track and see my ovulation patterns a bit more - do you temp?

ThelastRolo20 · 01/08/2024 11:24

@Ella31 seems like folic acid and vitamin D only is doing the trick! Really good you're getting all the right symptoms and your scan showed you're about to ovulate ❤️

@moosey89 ah I'm sorry lovely, the very start of a new cycle is always a bit crap. Have you got any nice weekend plans as a distraction? Xx

I do , I use ovusense as since the death of my twin sons , my cycles are only regulating now 8 months after their birth.
