Starting thread number 4, can you believe it? Congrats to everyone who has been lucky the last few threads and for those who have had recent losses again or new, keep strong, you are amazing. To those still trying, it will happen, myself included there and we will support each other.

I'll just include a foreward for anyone new who joins us, this is a supportive group for anyone who has had a loss, no matter how early or late. Everyone here has experieced the upset and understands.

Ive gone through the list and more than likely left people out so add anyone you think I've forgotten.

@Ella31 it really is such a varied range of emotions. I guess that what gets us through, having that hope that each pregnancy is different & that one day it will work out.
Today I am being positive, my body is finally playing ball. So I’m going to hold onto the good feeling I have today, as I haven’t felt like this for a while.

Happy anniversary for yesterday ❤️ I so wish things were different for you. You are so brave with everything you are dealing with. Sometimes you need to just feel the sadness. It’s hard to keep a brave face on sometimes. I hope next year you will be celebrating your anniversary in a completely different way

ThelastRolo20 · 16/07/2024 10:56

@Figtree11 absolutely celebrate those wins. I felt the same when AF arrived on time after the MCs, seems so strange but I took it as a good sign that my body was good to go again. I'm hopeful for your blood test on Friday ❤️ may this cycle be a good one for you. You're right, getting pregnant is the start of then another journey of potential worry, but as @Ella31 said, each pregnancy is its own and the past has no bearing on it

@Ella31 happy anniversary ❤️ I hope you and your husband managed to enjoy it as best you could without your boys 💙

moosey89 · 16/07/2024 10:59

@MisssMarion you can be grateful for what you have and sad for what you don't/what you've lost at the same time - don't forget that. I'm sorry you're going through a rough time, we have been too and it all feels so overwhelming doesn't it. I keep telling myself surely we're due a run of good luck/good news soon?!

@Figtree11 finally! That's great news. Hopefully your cycle will even out from here, must have been really worrying you.

I've just got back from blood tests - the results from my last loss showed it was caused by trisomy 15 so we've both been tested to make sure we're not carriers, apparently only like 5% of people who have recurring loss are, the rest is just bad luck - but given I'm already in a 1% of 3 or more losses in a row I guess you never know! 8-10 weeks for the results, so just got to keep busy. Trying to focus on health and fitness in the meantime as I need to lose a bit of weight if we do go down the IVF route.

Ncl31 · 16/07/2024 11:38

Tested this morning at 13DPO and BFN.
just going to sit it out and wait for AF to arrive now.

I'm just delighted your af has come because at the very basic level that tells you, things are moving forward. I also just want to remind you that you were so unlucky to have a molar pregnancy. You know the odds are quite low, just as mine were with the twins so keep remembering that. You pulled the unlucky straw so to speak. I also think the break from trying will have taken some of the stress away physically so I've every finger crossed for you in the months ahead.

Thanks. It was ok day. The ovulstion negative result skewed it tbh but look if I'm not ovulating for some reason, as long as it can be sorted that's all I care about.

@ThelastRolo20 i do feel as a weight has been lifted in a way. I’ve found the last 2 and a half months very difficult. I hope you are doing ok

Thanks @moosey89 ☺️ How are you feeling after finding out the loss was trisomy 15? Always good to find something to keep distracted & focused on during a wait. Frustrating it takes so long to hear back on results!

@Ncl31 im sorry it’s a bfn 😞

Thanks @Ella31 who knew I’d be so delighted for AF to arrive! And yes I agree it’s like I’m pleased my body is actually doing something it’s meant to be doing for once. Thank you, that’s really helped to read that written down about it being unlucky. I find it’s natural instinct to think the worst so I do need to keep reminding myself that I could one day get positive news.
Hopefully now that you have changed consultants you will have someone who is nice & proactive and can get a good plan in place for you

moosey89 · 16/07/2024 13:22

@Figtree11 I feel better - I nearly cried with relief to know that it wasn't something that could be helped. I guess that's in 2 parts, firstly I didn't do anything wrong (even know I knew this technically, when you're talking about yourself it's hard to believe it). Secondly, that it wasn't something that could have been fixed with progesterone, or aspirin, or any other medical help.

Figtree11 · 16/07/2024 13:26

@moosey89 i felt similar to that when I found out my latest one was a partial molar. I was given progesterone as I’d had some bleeding & seen a heartbeat. So when I then found out a few weeks later it no longer had a heartbeat, I just didn’t understand how it could go wrong. So I feel it does bring a bit of closure to have a reason & not just the unknown. I hope the results come back to show you aren’t carriers & it’s just rubbish bad luck

Lovedatforme · 16/07/2024 13:28

Yaaay didn’t miss the peak 🙌 hope
weve done enough, probably won’t get a chance to BD today but maybe tomorrow for luck 🤞

@Ella31 glad you got your consultant changed!

Hope everyone else is doing okay x

It only takes the once so I will keep my fingers crossed. I only had sex twice in my fertile period when I got pregnant in February.... Hubby wasn't feeling well so those 2 times was pushing it for him 🤣

Glad you got some answers, I hope you can relax a bit for the results. Well done for getting this far. It's tough. I'm the same weight wise. Started the gym last week and healthy eating.

I hope you were told it rarely can ever be helped. All you did was love and be excited for that baby and fingers crossed, you will be for the next one.

Af arrived today. Day 2 blood test booked tomorrow. Hsg procedure next week. Ovarian Ultrasound the week later and pdg test 3 days after. The HSE (NHS equivalent) have way too much of my blood lately 😅😁😁

@Ella31 oh definitely - I tell everyone that too, but for some reason always question myself! Typical of us to speak badly to ourselves when we wouldn't dream of speaking to others like that hey!

I just got my first flashing smiley today on CD13 - 3 days later than a normal cycle so looks like it'll be a slightly longer cycle again this month.

No we are our own harshest critics. That's good with the flashing smiley though. Hopefully ovulation is close for you

Yeah everything seems fine bar the progesterone test and the nurse reckons I am ovulating according to my temps so we'll see
