Starting thread number 4, can you believe it? Congrats to everyone who has been lucky the last few threads and for those who have had recent losses again or new, keep strong, you are amazing. To those still trying, it will happen, myself included there and we will support each other.

I'll just include a foreward for anyone new who joins us, this is a supportive group for anyone who has had a loss, no matter how early or late. Everyone here has experieced the upset and understands.

Ive gone through the list and more than likely left people out so add anyone you think I've forgotten.

Yeah not too far to get to 2. But my mind is in overdrive hoping it doesn’t rise in the next blood test. Just want this chapter behind me now

Hey ladies. I just wanted to check in as still think of you all and do try and find you and check up how everyone is!

Lots of good news which is really great to read! Genuinely so pleased for you who have had positives and good scans. And fingers crossed others will also receive the same very soon.

I'm at 23 weeks now. Baby doing okay in there. I still feel pretty anxious to be honest with you but I've accepted that and just take each day as it comes.

@Claudiasaz 23 weeks already, that's amazing! I hope your anxiety settles a little and you get to enjoy the rest of your pregnancy 🩷 do you know what you're having?

Well after thinking period was starting last week, it just spotted on off for days and finally started today but it is a bit on the light side, lighter then my usual periods so not sure if this is it or whether it will get heavier. I am not sure I ovulated last month so wondering if that has affected it. I am thinking I will still count it as cd1.

@Claudiasaz that seems to have flown by although i bet it's dragged for you. How have you been?

2dpo for me today and cervix has gone back to high status. Hate the 2ww.

@Mummysparrow hope you are doing ok. Think the first period is always a bit different. Still waiting on mine to make an appearance

My neighbour has arrived home today with her new baby, her second child. My first baby I lost would have been 3 weeks old. Why is life unfair like this

@Figtree11 how long has it been since your recent loss? Life is cruel isn't it. If I remember correctly I believe we have spoken on an over 30s chat before?
My period has stepped up a gear today. Nothing like the blood after having the baby but definitely more than a usual period. Strangely enough though it isn't too painful.

@Mummysparrow 10 weeks today since I had the d&c. But it was a partial molar and so it takes longer for the hcg to leave the system so can delays periods for some people. It is bothering me though that I don’t even have a hint of it coming.
Thats good that it’s not too painful. Never nice to deal with though

I'm so sorry @Figtree11 it's so bloody unfair and makes no sense. It's utter shit ❤️ these tough moments come along and make us feel as if we're going backwards, our journeys are unfortunately not smooth ones but I do believe we'll get there. Your time will come ❤️

@ThelastRolo20 thank you. It feels like time just goes so slowly, and I am living my life with the sparkle taken away from me & just always preoccupied with it all. I have my first counselling session with the counsellor from the EPU next week, so hopefully that will help. I hope you are doing ok xx

I get it. Since my first miscarriage in October it has been on my mind nearly every minute of every day, it's exhausting. The counting down to negative tests, positive tests, weeks until scans, another MC, back to square 1 etc.

Therapy is a wonderful idea, I myself will likely go as I still have healing to do even though I'm now further down my journey xx

@ThelastRolo20 yes that’s exactly it. I just don’t switch off from it at all.
I’m hoping the counselling will be beneficial, and if I’m honest feel like I need to learn how to handle this in different ways as I’m very aware I could go through it a third time. I’ll report back how it goes x

I'm sorry, moments like this are so tough 😢Life is so unfair and crap at times. Hope counselling helps a bit.

@Figtree11 I'm so sorry, life is so cruel and shit sometimes. I felt the same after my MC, constantly thinking of the baby I lost and wondering if I'd ever get pregnant again. Noone who hasn't been through it understands. Hope the counselling helps 🩷

@figtree that's really tough 😔 but every one of us in this group knows how you feel. Definitely not alone. I hope your counselling is useful. And I hope your period comes soon so you can move out of limbo. 💐

@Claudiasaz lovely to hear of people further along in a positive journey. Hope you're doing well. Over half way now! hopefully it will fly by from now for you.

I’m 10-11DPO currently sitting on a beach in Santorini.
we’re having a wonderfuL holiday and I’m not thinking too much about the TWW. I will be 14DPO when we arrive back home, if I haven’t got af by then I’ll do a test. No symptoms i can say ive noticed other than being a little wet down there this morning when i went to pee. But not reading too much into anything at this point.

Sending love to you @Figtree11 it's so hard. I wish I could take that away for you because I can remember that feeling very well. My neighbour actually announced her pregnancy shortly after I lost mine and baby was born a month after mine would have been due. It was really tough to be honest. I still find myself looking at the little one now sometimes and thinking about my little lost one. They were and will always be a part of us. You are doing better than you think.

I had some counselling for a few months and it helped so much. I would recommend it. You've been through a lot and it's a lot to unpick and deal with yourself. I think we go into "strong mode" too easily and we don't have to and can't be all of the time x
