Starting thread number 4, can you believe it? Congrats to everyone who has been lucky the last few threads and for those who have had recent losses again or new, keep strong, you are amazing. To those still trying, it will happen, myself included there and we will support each other.

I'll just include a foreward for anyone new who joins us, this is a supportive group for anyone who has had a loss, no matter how early or late. Everyone here has experieced the upset and understands.

I've been for my scan. I can barely believe I'm writing this but there are two sacs there. One you can see a baby and a heartbeat. Can't make anything out on the second one yet. She thinks I might just be not as far on as we thought. But less sure about the viability of the second. I'm going back in two weeks for another scan.
I think the consultant thinks I'm a bit insane as I was just so shocked in the appointment. Xx

Wow! What a result!! Really good news about baby with a heartbeat ❤️ hopefully in 2 weeks you'll have a clearer idea what's going on but this is a really good step in the right direction 🥰

Thanks everyone. I just feel a bit numb and shocked to be honest.
By last period dates I'm 6 weeks today which is what's worrying me- as she kept saying I'm not 6 weeks. But I was tracking ovulation too. She did say even ovulation tracking just tells you your surge no one knows when you actually ovulate. But still... Xx

@Onthedouble123 that's amazing news! I can picture your shock ☺️
How far along does she think you are? It's true that using the date of last period to date the pregnancy isn't accurate as it would imply an ovulation on Day 14 which is not always (rarely?) the case as we're all different.
I think it's possible not all babies grow at the exact same rate. My DD was always dating 5 days ahead although I was sure of my period and ovulation dates... They kept telling me I was wrong.
I hope you feel a little relieved?

Hi everyone. I think I may have joined this thread when I had my miscarriage in February and I recognise some names too. I hope you don't mind me joining again? I got a positive pregnancy test on the 9th of June (vvvvvfl on the 8th but could've been mistaken for an indent). I was so happy and hoped my miscarriage in February was a once off. Due to anxiety, I went for a private scan last week at 6+4 and only measured 5+3. Definitely was shocked because with my last pregnancy i had bleeding, whereas this pregnancy I've had no bleeding at all. The sonographer thinks I'm earlier then we thought, but I know my dates 😢 so I'm preparing for a blighted ovum when I have my next scan in EPU next week. Has anyone else ever been through this? I honestly don't know how we try again... it's soul destroying 😢 I know the miscarriage isn't confirmed yet but I would be shocked if it wasn't a loss.

Not such a good day for me. Got my blood test result from molar clinic. They want my levels to be at 2, but they are at 3. So I have to go again end of next week to repeat it

Just entered into my 2WW and only managed 3 times out of the 6 day fertile window. I just hope that's enough. Cervix is still soft and open at the moment though although 1dpo from opk surge.

Oh that sounds so close though? Hopefully that last little bit goes in the next week x

Hi lovely, so sorry you're going through this. In Jan I went at what I thought was 7 weeks and measured 2 weeks behind. I had various scans but it did end up in a missed miscarriage. That being said I did a lot of story searching and the odds seem a lot better with a weeks difference as opposed to two weeks.

It's so hard to "wait and see" but it really could go either way xx
