Starting thread number 4, can you believe it? Congrats to everyone who has been lucky the last few threads and for those who have had recent losses again or new, keep strong, you are amazing. To those still trying, it will happen, myself included there and we will support each other.

I'll just include a foreward for anyone new who joins us, this is a supportive group for anyone who has had a loss, no matter how early or late. Everyone here has experieced the upset and understands.

Ive gone through the list and more than likely left people out so add anyone you think I've forgotten.

@Ella31 I think we DTD 3 times day before, day of and day after peak.
We've struggled the months we started too early and run out of stamina! xx

DonnaWhat · 27/06/2024 11:06

The month i conceived my chemical, we dtd every day 4 days before ovulation. My missed miscarriage we didn't track. It was the one month when I said sod it, I'm not doing this anymore so I didn't track it.

@Ella31 I hope your scans go okay today and they are at least able to tell you a little bit of information before your proper consultation.

My results are back. It's increased by about 77% so not the doubling but also not stayed the same or decreased. Booked in for a scan week after next to see if they can see what's going on in there.

Im so mixed up. On the one hand I don't want to get my hopes up and am realistic that it still might ultimately not be good news. And if it isn't I'd rather just know sooner rather than later.

But at the same time I do not want to be wishing away a potential successful pregnancy/baby!

I know rationally my thoughts have no bearing on anything (If it did we would all on this group have wished ourselves all the babies we each wanted into existence long before now!!) but I'm driving myself crazy feeling like I'm jinxing things in my head! 😩😩😩

ThelastRolo20 · 27/06/2024 13:26

@Onthedouble123 I really feel for you as this could go either way! You're definitely in with a chance of a positive outcome - how many weeks will you be when they scan you? Xx

Lovedatforme · 27/06/2024 13:41

@Onthedouble123 I've been there so completely understand the way you feel, it's so tough when you just want answers. Sending you positive vibes.

It's a bitter sweet result @Onthedouble123 what did the doctor think?

My ultrasound came back good. My folicales are well above average. She said 11- 16 is normal. I had 25 on one side and 18 on the other. So she said my eggs are excellent. The amh test will hopefully confirm this.

Only downside is my bmi. So I'm about 3 stone overweight. I knew this already. I've been very up and down since my first loss 2 years ago. So in order to be eligible for tests like hycosy, I need a lower bmi. I expect I'll be told this in 2 weeks with my consultant. So it just means you'll be put out by 3 months for the test and when they see you again, you should be lighter and progressing towards it.

So can i lose 3 stone in 3 months sigh 😕 I've never been so motivated in my life.

I'm up and down about this because my husband thinks today was good news and we just keep trying and hopefully by the time the appointment comes we'll be pregnant.

@Onthedouble123 i’m sorry you are in this limbo. Waiting is horrible, every day just drags

@Ella31 that’s such positive news about the follicles! It really does sound like everything is pointing in the right direction.
Losing weight is so hard, so maybe don’t think about it being 3 stone to lose, but in more manageable amounts. As Iosing 1 stone for example is such a great achievement. That’s clumsily worded, but I just mean that it seems like you have such positive signs with the follicles that things will work out regardless of weight, that hopefully it won’t be long till you get that BFP

jellyfish2 · 27/06/2024 18:51

@Ella31 that is great news that everything is looking good. I agree with figtree, aiming for 1 stone stone seems more achievable. Even if you broke it down so try to lose 2 pounds a week or something and focus on it weekly. Hopefully you will fall pregnant before then though!

Onthedouble123 · 27/06/2024 19:33

@Ella31 those follicle numbers sound excellent! I've got every confidence that you'll be pregnant yourselves before you need to think about hycosy etc 💕💕💕 xx

Ella31 · 27/06/2024 20:08

@Figtree11 @Onthedouble123 thank you. I'm so surprised at the hycosy bring bmi related. I know ivf is.

Just catching up ladies.

@Onthedouble123 I hope you have a positive outcome. Rising 77% can still be good.

@Ella31 that's amazing news about having a good range. With regards to weight, don't stress about it. I did the couch to 5k app and I dropped 4 stone. I hated exercise but habing that half an hour punishment to myself made me feel good afterwards. Trust me, i never would habe thought id jabe ever heard myself say that! 😆 I'm still over weight but any thinner and I look ill. Google what one pound of fat looks like. It may not sound alot but sure looks alot.

Today's cd4 for me and bleeding has gone to a normal flow, couldn't move for leaking yesterday, lovely when your on your feet at work all day 🙄 day off tomorrow for my crohns infusion. Oh the joys.

Blueskies4 · 28/06/2024 16:21

Hey ladies….

It’s been an age since I checked in on here.. there seems to have been a couple more positives since last time I did so that’s lovely to see, congratulations!

I’ve been having some more tests so taking a break whilst we get the results.. xx

DonnaWhat · 28/06/2024 18:07

@Blueskies4 Hi, I hope everything is going well for you?

Blueskies4 · 28/06/2024 21:28

Thanks @DonnaWhat - I’ve had a tonne of tests and just waiting back on results so we know the best options, but I haven’t been able to get pregnant since the miscarriage I had last March (I had 3 in 8 months and the last one seems to have thrown my cycle off)..

Fingers crossed my cycle seems to be improving now with Accupuncture!

How’re you xz

DonnaWhat · 29/06/2024 15:55

@Blueskies4 I'm OK, just had my first period since chemical at the the beginning of the month. Ready to get back on the TTC train again. How's acupuncture? I've seen a few people mention it.

Ella31 · 29/06/2024 17:38

I've dumped my opks and I'm doing every other day this month. Might take the pressure off. I just hope everything other day is enough

OP posts:
ThelastRolo20 · 29/06/2024 18:28

@Ella31 every other day will be absolutely fine 🥰 I've only ever done that and it's worked so far! I also definitely preferred not doing OPKs - felt like I could concentrate on life a bit more rather than just TTC xx

Figtree11 · 29/06/2024 19:02

@Ella31 i agree with @ThelastRolo20 i found opks stressful so didn’t do them. Every other day worked for me. Fingers crossed for us all soon 🤞🏻

Ella31 · 29/06/2024 20:03

@Figtree11 @ThelastRolo20 that's so encouraging as I was dtd like 8 days in a row and bloody wrecked 😅

@Ella31 😂 not going to lie, dtd every other day did become a chore after a while. So when I got that BFP we were both relieved we didn’t have to do it that night 😂

Same! Fertile week is never exactly fun after a while is it 😅
