Yeah if you've got the strength to hold off @xxcxdonxx do it and enjoy your time away, I totally regret starting as now I'm going to be on pins the rest of the week just watching and waiting. I've not really had cramps just a few stingy pains my boobs aren't sore either just every so slightly sensitive X

@xxcxdonxx yes it is reassuring in these long weeks between the 12 and 20wk scans!! I think I've felt some little flutters once or twice too that I'm pretty sure aren't gas! I still have other moments though where I'm like 'oh yeah - I'm pregnant!' 😂 Think part of me is still in disbelief.

Are you planning to hold off testing until AF due? Have you been symptom spotting at all this tww?

Those little flutters are so funny where you aren’t quite sure what they are and before you know it you are being kicked in the ribs 😝
I’ve had no symptoms really so nothing to spot for now. I need to test by Wed as if it’s negative then I need to stop the progesterone so if I can, I’ll hold off until then but we shall see!

@SnookyPook 🙂 awwwww, the little movements. Are you tempted on getting your own doppler? Are you waiting on the 20wk scan now then?
@Westy22 defo a line there!! Really plsd for you. Did you say this is your 1st bfp since trying?
@xxcxdonxx wednsday isnt too far away especially when your away anyway to take your mind of things... if you leave it abit longer you may get a nice suprise 🙂

Yeah @Supertrooper101 I'm still so nervous though as if I'm on a 27 day cycle I'm not due AF till Thursday x I did two this morning to make sure and there still positive, not blazing yet but its still early so just need to try and get through the next few days x

@Westy22 I've just seen your updates, so excited for you! That's a good line for 9dpo. Sending congratulations although I know you're probably not feeling ready to celebrate yet.

@SnookyPook beautiful bump! So glad you're doing well, those movements will be undeniable soon. My anxiety got so much better from this point on, partly with good 16 and 20 week scans, partly with feeling increasing movements.

Oh wow @Westy22 that's a definite line 🙌 , so glad to hear it's still positive this morning. There's no way that's an evap, so tentatively excited for you 🥰 xx

Awww @SnookyPook that's a lovely bump, I can only imagine what the flutters are like too ☺️ I can't wait to get to that stage, I've a serious belly on me at the moment but it's just purely bloated 🙈😂 It'll be so cool to listen on the Doppler Friday 🥰

@Supertrooper101 or @SnookyPook did either of you manage to get rid of the constipation/trapped wind? TMI but my cramps are getting horrendous as each day passes. They woke me during the night so only managed 2 hours sleep before my flight 😭 I'm assuming that's what it is even though I'm able to go to the toilet and I don't feel like the wind is trapped but the pain comes every few hours and is horrendous and it feels exactly like digestive type 😣 I've tried fybogel but it's not working 😣

@Sez281 we're doing ok thanks, aside from the matter of sleep 😴 got myself a velcro baby who will not be put down. New territory for us as our daughter always settled quickly wherever we put her.
The wee one is 3 weeks old today and he's gorgeous, love all the snuggles and he's very chilled unless we try to put him in his cot lol.

Peppermint tea has been really helping my digestive issues post c section if it's OK to have in pregnancy maybe try that? Sorry you're feeling bloated but glad you've had your lovely holiday and things are still going well with your pregnancy 🥰

That's a good idea about the peppermint tea actually, I feel a bit like I did after my surgery (not at all on the same scale as a section obviously) but maybe that will help 🧐 I've also been having heartburn and taking gaviscon but now thinking I should get some rennie deflatine too. I'm trying to limit my moaning about symptoms as I know how blessed I am to have gotten this far so if I have them the whole way then so be it, I don't care once we hopefully make it through 🙏🙏

@Supertrooper101 I daren't get a Doppler - think it might make me more anxious if I struggle to find it etc..! Not decided on scan yet. Nothing set in stone but will see how we go. No immediate plans for a private one.

@Sez281 I've been on the prune Actibio yoghurts 😂 thankfully I've not been too horrendous apart from two bad days so I'm just trying to manage it with diet mostly. Bram flakes and fruit for brekkie most mornings 😂

@Hankthehonk oh bless you! My son was a complete velcro baby. I remember even sitting breastfeeding him while I was on the toilet 😂😂 the only thing that worked for us in the end was finding out about safe cosleeping (Lullaby Trust / safe sleep 7 etc). I know this isn't for everyone but it was honestly a life saver for me!! It must be a particular shock to the system if your first was a good independent sleeper. My sister got lucky and her second was the good one. I suspect I'll get another velcro one 😂😂

@Sez281 how long have you gave fybogel a go for? It takes 2 to 3 days to work but you have to drink alot of fluid. Am full with pure gas and bloat lol so no, dosent get better only worse lol remem er it well now with my boy. Didnt know rennie did deflate, ive just got the normal one. But ill have a look for that. Had a read up on peppermint first, not really recommended early on. Promgrante and prune juice are options. Hot water too. Did you get a private scan booked 🙂.
@SnookyPook my 1st was independant and so easy lol my boy, complete cling on too lol my sister co shared with her son. Only way she could get some sleep too. tbh if your starting to feel them move now, may relax you enough not to need another scan pre the 20th.

Thank you guys, feel like I can't let myself be excited about it yet but then part of me wants to tell the world already 🙈 I've not even told the OH yet incase I jinx it 🙈 how early did you get your first line @Sez281 was it before AF?

The boobs started burning today which I was like gimme more of that 🤣 I'm trying to keep my mind positive but it's very difficult as you'll all be aware of and the negative thoughts creep in.

I'm trying to tell myself a few weeks back I didn't think I'd even be here again so the fact I am is positive in itself now just need to hope this time round it's the right time 🌈

Aww @Westy22 the mixed emotions are totally normal and are part and parcel of it for all of us I'm afraid 🥹 Maybe wait to do a digital before telling your OH 🙏 I got my faint line at 9/10 dpo too but I was on progesterone which was stopping my AF from coming the next day with my short luteal phase. Can you get a boots early detection? They're really easy to read. If you get a line on that you'll almost certainly get one on a digital xx

@Supertrooper101 I took it away with me just in case that's what was causing the pain and took it everyday but to be honest I don't think its constipation or trapped wind as I have normal movement 🙈😂 The type of cramping now makes me think it's acid in my stomach or something, gaviscon is helping the heartburn but maybe I need something stronger for my tummy🤷‍♀️ I've arranged to see my GP in the morning as I haven't checked in with her yet anyway so will see what she says. Private scan booked for Saturday morn. Do you still have another on Thursday?

I might buy them this eve when i finish work @Sez281 I'll be tempted to do one this eve then tho and it's probably best waiting till fmu 🤣🤣 I'm not doubting the lines I'm just petrified it will change but I guess that could happen at any stage? XX how far are you now? Have you had a look at your due date? I already googled what mine could be 🤣🤣🙈 too soon? Ha

😂 Not too soon at all @Westy22 it's great that you're feeling so positive about it and thinking of dates etc. worrying about things isn't going to stop them from happening so it's lovely tbsp you're feeling excited 🥰 I'm 7w4d today, my major milestone will be Sunday as I'll be 8&3 and if I get passed that and epau scan goes well on the Wednesday then I'll have passed last years dates 🙏 Have you decided how you're going to tell your OH? I ended up half throwing the digital in the jewellery box at him and just blurting it out! 🙈😂 x

3 hour hold 🥹 might tell OH so he knows what's going on xx nothing special as I don't think he will allow himself to get too excited yet x it's not a dye stealer but it's in writing 🤞

@Sez281 wow! I know it won't feel it to you but I can't believe you're already over 7wks! That's gone quickly to me! Those first milestones feel so massive don't they. Hopefully passing those over the next week will bring a bit more hope for you 🥰

@Sez281 are you able to prod your stomach to see where the oain is generating from? Even if yiu go daily am guessing youl be eating more so yoy could still be backed up. Hopefully your dr pokes around and has an idea lol am back friday this week.

@Supertrooper101 I've been trying to prod my tummy but honestly I'm so bloated it's hard to tell where the pain is coming from 🫣. It's definitely low down and comes in waves like contractions, usually worse in the late afternoon and evening but has woken me up too. Maybe you're right, I have been eating more than usual this last week so maybe going once a day isn't enough 🙈 Will see what doc says
