@Welshgal85 how are you doing? Not sure if I said sorry to hear about your chemical. Hope you're doing OK

@DesertSnow so many congratulations on your lovely baby. Luna is beautiful. Sorry to hear about the anxiety, that must be really hard and I hope you are getting lots of support and you will be able to work through the birth with someone as well.

@Dreamingof3 thanks lovely. I have got an appointment through for 25th Sep which is approx 8 weeks, but it's only a phone consultation and tbh not sure if it is with a doctor or if it's just for triage. Hoping they will at least take all the details and refer for any tests needed.
Calla is beautiful. Many congratulations on your wedding! Hope you had a fabulous time

@HeathenPlayingHouse sorry to hear you're still trying too. I feel a bit down as well. Just got to keep trying haven't we?

@krissy12 how are you?

@LucyLoopyLu thank you for adding me back in 😊 I’d love to keep you all updated (as long as you’re all happy with that and it’s not too upsetting) - you girls kept me going through some difficult times with TTC although I was lucky in being able to conceive quickly, it wasn’t so easy keeping pregnancies going!!
I was 36 weeks yesterday! I’ve had a UTI for the last 8 weeks though which just seems to be getting worse despite being on my 3rd lot of antibiotics - my white blood cell count is now at 600 so my midwife is referring me to the consultant, waiting to see if they want to have me in for IV antibiotics, induce early or another option! I suspect I’ll hear from them next week when latest sample has been tested 😩
How are you getting on?

Thanks @LucyLoopyLu for starting a new thread. I hope you're okay xx I'm 11DPO of a natural try before doing my second to last transfer. AF is due on Saturday which this time just so happens to include a visit to my in-laws. "Sorry, no grandkids cooking yet!". I'm just being cynical. They've never asked or pressured us, not sure if that's a good thing, although knowing they conceived mega fast does still grate a bit. I'm on a much-needed break from work at the moment, so I can relax a bit. I still get days where I notice babies and pregnant women more, almost like everyone around me has children, but the thought that grounds me is that I don't know how easy/hard it was for them. And even if it was easy, it doesn't affect my chances.

God I do rant.

Thanks for the new thread @LucyLoopyLu ❤️

@Houseelf90 Hope you're feeling ok in these last few weeks!

I'm feeling better now, as it turned out AF showed up later that day, which would explain the mood.

I'm currently CD4 and I've been taking my last round of expired Clomid I had in the back of the cupboard- it seems to still have some effect, if the sporadic headaches and hot flashes are anything to go by.

I'll be going away on a hen weekend on CD21, so I'm really hoping that I ovulate before then. I'm planning on throwing everything I've got at this cycle to take advantage of the Clomid boost- supplements, Preseed and SMEP.

Hope everyone is doing well xx

@LucyLoopyLu Thanks for adding!
Sorry been so quiet on here, been a mental struggle with each passing cycle...
AF due today, temp still high this morning, but it can be high still day of AF for me previously. Did a test 10dpo and was bfn, so not holding out any hope.

@Houseelf90 I'd love it if you kept us updated! As long as you want to. 36 weeks has gone so fast! Sorry to hear about your UTI, I hope you're not too uncomfortable or in too much pain.

@Welshgal85 fingers crossed for this cycle

@krissy12 thanks lovely, fingers crossed for some movement soon

@SarahShorty good luck for the natural cycle! It's so awkward seeing family isn't it. Both sets of parents now know we've been trying over a year and are on a waiting list. I don't really want to talk to them about it but it's also a relief to feel like I'm not being watched for any signs. Break from work sounds fab! Bit jealous, think I need a holiday! Haha. I keep telling myself that too - 1 in 7 couples has trouble conceiving so we are definitely not alone. So many people don't ever share what they've gone through and you only hear the positive news.

@HeathenPlayingHouse fingers crossed 🤞 for day 21. Smep will definitely have you covered, good luck!

@missmoosh sorry to hear you've been struggling. Solidarity 🖐 I have been struggling too (on and off). Hoping AF stays away for you!

I have been on a break this cycle as my husband was away for FW. Should be CD1 on Friday so into cycle 15. Nearly coming up to the 18 month mark now since my coil was removed 🥲

@LucyLoopyLu thank you, its such a struggle to stay optimistic isnt it. Some days im like yeah its gonna happen and others I just cant even picture it.

Still no AF yet for me, technically 2 days late but I didn't track particularly well this month (only took a few temps around suspected O time) and had a surgery, so thinking may be having a wonky cycle.

Got all typical pre-af signs but temp is still up, so I'm stupidly holding out hope. Sure it will be crushed by the end of the day but hey ho! Too scared to test fed up of seeing negatives.

LucyLoopyLu · 31/08/2023 19:38

@missmoosh yeah it's hard to stay positive. It's almost like this is something from someone else's life and I'm just watching it. All my focus is on conception now and I rarely think about pregnancy, birth or being a parent anymore. Just need to get over that first hurdle.

I've told a few people in real life now so that has helped.

I will keep my fingers crossed for you x

@LucyLoopyLu ".... I rarely think about pregnancy, birth or being a parent anymore..." I could have written this.

I'm 13dpo today and have had light brown mucus discharge, so that's me out again. My DH has lost hope and feels so tired now, and he cries a lot because the thought of not being able to get me pregnant is destroying him. He knows there are men out there with worse sperm statistics than him, but every failed attempt is another gut punch. I'm trying to help him boost his testosterone but it's so hard.

@LucyLoopyLu yes exactly that, so hard watching on as others get to have their beautiful babies. Starting to find it difficult even watching TV with pregnancy storyline now.

@SarahShorty I'm so sorry, your journey has not been easy and I so hope you get the outcome you want soon!

Update from me, tested this morning and as I feared another BFN. I believe I am now 15dpo (normally on have 12 day luteal phase, never had longer). My temps have been elevated for 15 days so I think I can be fairly certain on latest O day (could be wrong as I didn't OPK or BBT properly for the full month). So I am very confused and tbh just want AF to start so I can move onto the next cycle. I was convinced when I didn't come on over night I would get a dye stealer, so 🤷

Report
missmoosh · 01/09/2023 08:12

Meant to add I did an OPK as well and whilst not as dark as control line, was much darker than I expected. Maybe like 60% of the darkness of the control. Can you get an LH surge before period?

Report
missmoosh · 01/09/2023 11:58

I think the witch is arriving now started spotting a little... either got O date totally wrong (given i based it on temps not convinced on this) or potential chemical maybe? Oh well glass of wine for me!

Report
SarahShorty · 01/09/2023 12:19

BBT only confirms you've ovulated, it doesn't tell when you're likely to ovulate. LH testing will indicate when you'll ovulate. I always track with LH and BBT. I LH test right up to CD27 as I've ovulated very late before. I then BBT up to the end of the cycle. Speaking of which, it's 14DPO for me today and my BBT has plummetted. So that's me out again.

Report
missmoosh · 01/09/2023 14:40

@SarahShorty i took it as the fact my temp increased 15 days ago that the day of increase would be the day following O...?
Sorry to hear your bbt has dropped, seems we will be on a similar cycle for the next one then potentially

Report
SarahShorty · 01/09/2023 14:43

That is right, yes. Just don't use BBT for when to DTD.

Report
missmoosh · 01/09/2023 14:57

@SarahShorty okay cool I haven't been doing it wrong all this time! I do bbt when I don't want to pressure the dtd times 😂😂
Man I'm gutted AF arrived, properly convinced myself this was it! Such a fool!

Well it's officially CD1 of cycle 15 trying. Middle of September will be 18 months since coil removal.

Work is crazy busy and I could really do without a painful, bloated few days. Well just my luck, it's absolutely killing me.

Phone appointment still in for 25th with fertility department so I hope that will result in some movement.

I hope everyone is doing well?

Some of you may remember me from the early days of previous threads last year. Thought I would come on to give you all an update.

So my DH & I started trying for a baby in 2021, I had some fertility tests at the doctors late last year & was told that it was highly unlikely I was going to get pregnant naturally due to my hormone levels & they wanted to refer me to the fertility clinic. DH & I discussed & decided that we would just carry on as normal & if it was meant to be it would be also although the issue was me we would still have to pay for the clinic as DH has children.

I basically stopped everything, stopped going on sites, apps etc.. stopped bbt & ovulation tests. We just went with the flow. We didn't even think about it. It was such a relief to remove the pressure & disappointment each month.

So..... in May this year we were absolutely ecstatic to find out I was pregnant. I'm now 21 weeks pregnant with a baby girl and we couldn't be happier.

It's just a post to say that you never know what is going to happen & although it hasn't happened yet it can happen. Our little miracle is due in January if I got mine you can all get yours! 🥰

Sorry for the essay so early in the morning! Lol!

Also we only DTD once the month I got pregnant. It only takes that one time 😘

Xxx
