Anyone trying for a 3rd child?

We've started 3 cycles ago trying for our 3rd. I'm going to be 41 soon and both me and DH feel exactly the same about this, feels like going for a 3rd is a bit insane, with all the challenges in logistics, but at the same time it feels like we both really want it ❤️ We're sort of going for a leap of faith... is anyone in the same boat?

Yes I can see a faint line in the first one! And I know from experience that they are usually more visible in real life!

@AnaReis its mass psychosis with imagination I saw some ghost on most left one😛

We might be having a collective hallucination, but anyway I don't trust these kinds of shadows, as we can see from the pic that @MrsPepper82 shared some posts ago, a shocking shadow on a test!! 🤦🏻‍♀️ And a few cycles ago I also had these sorts of shadows and a Clearblue with a blue evap 😖 🤷🏻‍♀️

Good morning! 9DPO here, another test, another stark white BFN... I don't feel pregnant at all, I'm seriously thinking I'm out this cycle too 🙄

@AnaReis There's still hope!! 🤞🏻 And these tests will be the death of us 🙃 A few years back I had a blazing "positive" on a Freedom test. I put it on a thread on here so you can see how positive it was. So disheartening x

@AnaReis 9dpo is sooooo early…I don’t think it means anything at this point!

I’ve only ever had the faintest of faint lines at 10dpo all 6 times I’ve been pregnant, and not proper lines until 12 dpo.

My cramps have completely stopped now and EWCM gone so I think I did probably ovulate yesterday on cd14. We dtd on cd12 so I think that’s good news 🤞🏻

Cramps were quite extreme on both sides so daydreaming now about twins, or at least twice the chance to conceive 1! No doubt wishful thinking 🤣

I also have 2 CB ones, a digital that tells how many weeks along and one of those that get a plus sign if positive. I'm still in Portugal, not in Algarve anymore 😭😭 but here the tests are much more expensive than in the UK, so I brought several with me.

I used a different test this morning and it was 99% negative😥there was SOME room for imagination but did not get me going. So I googled now about that first brand and saw a lot of comments about positives that were not confirmed by other tests with different brands 😮seems similar case now 😒

I have not lost hope completely considering I had to pee the night around half past 3 and took the test before 7 already, and it is still only 11DPO

But I am so utterly disappointed. Today I was in store and thought about buying some more tests but didn’t. It kind of hit me- even if the tests are positive in my case very early and because of failed implantation turned negative- I don’t have to know.
Testing early doesn’t make me pregnant. So I will just be waiting until AF arrives and that will be my cue. Am not ready to confront another empty test screen.

BBT still rises, RHR also, I have dull pressure-pain for five days now, yesterday I also got my yawning seasons.

I know what you mean in terms of not being the tests that will make you pregnant... It's so tempting to just buy more or use one more... I feel the same.... Maybe I should just wait for AF and ignore the days going by... It would be easier I guess...

Hope it’s ok to jump back in to this thread. I don’t use OPKs. I didn’t use them for my 2DC & I have anxiety & I didn’t think I could cope with any lack of progression. Of course now I’m 4DPO (predicted) I wish I knew for sure exactly when I ovulated. I’ve had a chemical previously so, like @MrsPepper82 mentioned, testing early doesn’t make me/keep me pregnant. Was planning to test if AF is late but I go yoga twice a week - should I test before class?

@AnaReis it’s still really early. On the one hand I’d say our instincts are usually good but actually with dc2 I got it totally wrong - I was convinced I was pregnant the cycle before I conceived her, and then the cycle that I did actually conceive I was convinced I hadn’t! When is AF due?

I think I ovulated on Friday based on all that cramping and the fact that cm turned sticky/gluey yesterday, so not sure there’s much point dtd tonigjt but will do to be safe!

As said before - stepped out of hurting myself and did not test. As 12 DPO some still could get negative results while actually being pregnant.
My temp dropped very slightly, while RHR is still up.
And I thought with both of my kids that I could not be pregnant as I didn’t feel it al all. Seems that my body loves changing the scenery each cycle- I can’t tolerate routine and neither does my body - each cycle DPO differs 😜 So I’m just going to keep it cool.

@happytobemrsg general rule is- if your body is used to yoga no need to skip it or test before, I have not been in a yoga class that would have anything that is restricted for pregnant ladies.

Thanks @MrsPepper82 both classes are quite restorative so I’ll perhaps just avoid any deep twists or planks (anything to avoid planks!)
