Anyone trying for a 3rd child?

We've started 3 cycles ago trying for our 3rd. I'm going to be 41 soon and both me and DH feel exactly the same about this, feels like going for a 3rd is a bit insane, with all the challenges in logistics, but at the same time it feels like we both really want it ❤️ We're sort of going for a leap of faith... is anyone in the same boat?

@happytobemrsg hahahaaa must admit I stopped planking as soon as I had after IUd removal painful periods and never started again (just now realised 😆). And small addition to my previous post - very early stage preg ladies.
I just got a good idea to test before O day with that test that gave me distinct other line. 🤓

The best thing is to test midstream morning urine, so the first time you go to the loo in the morning. I don't think yoga affects the test, what can affect it is the dilution of the urine, that's why it's better to use the morning one, so it's more concentrated.

@Ifyouknowyouknowyouknow forgot to say that if this is a 25 day cycle then it's supposed to appear on the 11th.

It’s just not working this DPO time - not testing is not working :D

AF should arrive tomorrow- can happen anytime till late evening. I will be with colleagues the whole day and now I’m afraid of that sadness being public (haha small screen and clumsy fingers wrote piblic).

My BFN of 11DPO is forgotten and head filled with some hopes again as temp rises according to tracker (BBT dropped still very slightly)and RHR still high. I made FF account but this has decided to show fantasies- instead of continuing my current cycle day 18 it started from CD 1 again and my 5DPO was taken as O day 😂

Dug out some old diary where I wrote some mystical stuff- like I tested 18 -Dpo with first child 🙃 how’s that even possible 😂

Oh I've never been one to be able to wait lol with both my pregnancies I found out at the day of missed period or the day before 😅

My temp is still high too but it can come down sharply tomorrow as it has happened before.

Don't get all hyped by the apparent 3 phasic chart, this is very common in my past charts and is likely due to taking the temps at different times and also due to the missed temperatures 😅

I’d love to be able to wait to test but I have to test at 10dpo to stop my medication.

@AnaReis i have never temped so can’t interpret that chart…but sorry about the bfn. It’s good that your cycles are 25 days though as means you have more chances to try!

I could be anything from 1-3dpo today. I found some old cyclogest pessaries from my last pregnancy that are still in date so think I might try taking them this month in case it helps with implantation, but will give it another day or so in case ovulation is later than I thought.

I know it sounds mad but I’m convinced that my egg fertilised last month but that implantation failed as I had cramping and faint spotting at 6-7dpo (have only ever had that when I’ve been pregnant) and then AF came a day early which has never ever happened before.

Has anyone else taken cyclogest?

@Ifyouknowyouknowyouknow what a tww for you this time 1-3 days accuracy is quite a lot to wait while hoping to get 2 lines.

I shouldn’t need extra progesterone as my natural level was so high that doc commented that it should get me pregnant every time 😂

here are my charts, O is with red pen, there is this Lh surge.
as this is the first month of tracking then I don’t know yet when my drop will happen.

@MrsPepper82 I’ve never actually had my progesterone checked - but my recurrent miscarriage specialist prescribed it for everyone as a matter of course. I feel like it can’t hurt for me at this point?! Great that you know you’ve got a naturally high level!

On Fertility Friend if you insert all the temperatures and the day of your first period (you don't even need to insert the other days of your period) it should be able to pinpoint the temperature where you ovulated. It does this automatically.

I think when I get back to the UK I'm going to book a appointment with a gynecologist, just to do an ultrasound and maybe blood tests to see if everything is ok.

Any idea what tests I should ask for specifically?

@AnaReis i think the main one for fertility is an AMH test which should give you an idea of how many eggs you’ve got, and you can also get a follicle count done via ultrasound. Note that this will indicate egg quantity but not quality so is really just a rough indicator.

You can also get hormone tests which need to be timed with your cycle - oestiadol, progesterone, FSH and LH.

I have never had any of this done though as I was young and fertile when I had all my investigations!

@Ifyouknowyouknowyouknow has listed everything basic 😃timing is also important as there are some tests on CD 3-5 and some on 7DPO.
I did whole package recently and am calm from that perspective.
@AnaReis Have you used that pregnancy monitor option in FF? i found place where I was able to set O day according to OPK and now it started to show high possibility and score for probable pregnancy (76 out of 100). You can imagine how much this makes me want to test 😝How too much information can drive you crazy in such short time.
my DH also makes it worse as each time I daytime yawn he comments about bun being in the oven, as this has been the only reoccurring symptom. And while typing this text I also try not to drown my phone into yawning 🥱

I just may need a CB test where you can’t interpret the phantom line and it’s just telling you directly not pregnant so I can continue with my everyday routine not pondering 🤔

Hey all, hope you’re all ok

Think I am 7/8 DPO according to peak on OPK. Boobs are extremely tender and some period type aching but I think that happened last month and led me into a false sense of security 🤦🏻‍♀️

haven’t got any tests at home but might try and get some tomorrow to use on day 10 dpo

I read that OPKs can also detect pregnancy and I have a massive stash in the cupboard - trying to be strong and not break them out 😂

@AFeastForCrows I have heard that for many OpK gives positive before AF steps by, it can be false hope. But fingers crossed for real hcg positive results for you.

And I got my balance back 🙃took along walk and avoided tests :D bought a book instead 🥸
So decided to have my organicup in place for tomorrow and then I only know when I’m back home and can let my emotions out. I am deeeply convinced in my result, although my neurotic keeps whispering about painful nipples and high temp, but rational side is convinced 11 test would already been positive. And promised myself not to measure BBT next time and just follow up on OV.

I’ve read that too about OPKs so I’m staying firmly away from them!

Tomorrow- according to last time’s even late in the evening so a long day ahead but clever me found a plan how to stay cooking all day 😅
but i really hate to lash out in public and I am too weak to handle a BFN so best option among those poor options.
As it is with yoga and sports, same is about other habits also, so I took shorter and only warm, not hot hot IR sauna and already feel better mentally and more prepared for tomorrow :)
I think @AnaReis should have her final clarity latest day after tomorrow so a some more outcomes to be revealed.
