Page 36 | Anyone trying for a 3rd child?

We've started 3 cycles ago trying for our 3rd. I'm going to be 41 soon and both me and DH feel exactly the same about this, feels like going for a 3rd is a bit insane, with all the challenges in logistics, but at the same time it feels like we both really want it ❤️ We're sort of going for a leap of faith... is anyone in the same boat?

I'm in early testing hell. Period due on Saturday...testing every day already. Stark white BFN today. I KNOW it's too early to be positive. Clearly I want a third even more than I thought!

Oh I'll be starting that whole testing shebang on Saturday when I'm 9dpo 😅 sorry, can't control myself 🤦🏻‍♀️

@Ifyouknowyouknowyouknow since there is this sexplan that suggests to dtd every day around O day and you are about to miss that opportunity I would have twice still, as recovery time must be enough if there is such suggestion

I am so proud of myself for being able not to test. I have one at home that should measure 7dpo result already but felt so not prepared to see only 1 line. Last cycle had all the symptoms before and test done on 9DPO showed some ghost, added photo of that one below.
this time non of those symptoms are present 😐
So already I focus on getting some pre seed or pro seed and correct OPK tests and am happy that our fertility appointment is coming next month.

Omg! That looks a lot like a positive!! 😫😫😫 It would make me go crazy and then having AF would be heartbreaking 🙄

It seems I have become more controlling over time.
never have i ever measured BBT nor RHR before.
but yet here I am- googling 8DPO BBT and HRH charts and hoping against all odds (got my pinkish discharge that I always get for a day or 2 at 8dpo) some miracle that can be found as a proof that all is not over for this time. My BBT is on the rise and RHR also - both correlate to normal menstrual cycle also - LH peak produced sharp drop and rise of progesterone sharp rise. Text book case. I am not looking for comfort as in it could still happen. Just that already is enough that here you are- also not taking it easily😉thank you so much for sharing this.
I tried to join my home country chat for mums (to be) over 40 and boy this was a mistake. Did not join as the only discussion was about 40 being way too old to have babies 😵

Where are you from? Definitely stay away from that chat!! 😅

I've always been controlling in TTC, I have no idea what that "oh just relax" means either Lool I'm all about controlling everything and testing to insanity 🤷🏻‍♀️

Well we dtd last night on cd12. I’ve ovulated on cd 15 or 16 consistently throughout my life as far as I know. DH is back on cd16 so there’s a chance I guess that we catch it one way or another.

And annoying that I’m blatantly going to be really up for it over the next few days 🤣

I know exactly what you mean, when my husband was away last cycle I was going crazy with mad libido 😖😖 so this cycle I basically was all over him 😅😅 (and he was quite happy about it 🤣)

I'm on 7 DPO on CD 20. Last cycle was incredibly short and only had 23 days 🤔
I'm not really sure what to expect of this cycle... It's a question of waiting now.

I'm going to start testing on 9DPO as of course I brought tests with me on holiday 😅

Sorry I've been quiet - what with the chemical, and then Covid....I've kind of become a hermit. But I've been tracking anyway so I can understand my cycles again 😌....... CD15 today, I felt ovulation yesterday (much better time to ovulate rather than CD21!) and OPK's were pretty strong this time (didn't record on an app or anything).
I've said to DH we'll really go for it next month and then if no BFP we'll go again in Jan (because just want to avoid another August baby if we can)

Sending positive vibes to everyone ♥️

I buried all hopes yesterday when BBt dropped but this morning it was again very high and also RHR went up. But I am still not sure. As I have had chemicals before and early MCs also, so shivering more than ever.

I’m 10 DPO, test sensitivity is 10 (I never remember what units). There’s def a line, just soo faint for 10DPO (to be honest I can’t tell what it’s supposed to look like 😂) but those fair ones have disappeared before so not taking it seriously just yet. But not going to drink nor lifting any jacuzzi 😂

@AnaReis Yes, we are just finishing with our house expansion and there is a room with infrared sauna, massage table (I have licence), light therapy, jacuzzi and really really nice calming paintings and seaside themed lounge area. We used to have very limited space and having our third so late is also because of that. And I felt like not up to all the fuss with baby in such limited surroundings.

@MrsPepper82 i definitely see a line! Not bad at all for 10dpo either! With both my kids I could barely see the line at 10dpo but I knew I was pregnant. Also very jealous of your home set up - sounds amazing!

Ive been having cramps that I think are ovulation pains. I kind of lost the will
to do opks this cycle when I realised DH was going to be away over most of fw but I really regret it now! I’m cd14 today. Found out last night that BIL and SIL are having their second baby. Very happy for them but really jealous as well 🤣

Now I just took a long active walk to help with my intense abdominal pain and spotting has began. Now am totally clueless, wtf is that???
Nothing to do but to relax and wait.

And our home - still can’t believe it is true, so much time and effort has been put into this and would so much love to rise a baby here.

@MrsPepper82 do you think if I am cramping today it means I will
ovulate today? I was kind of assuming I would ovulate tomorrow as expected, which would be less good from a timing perspective, and the cramps today are just things ramping up! Impossible to know I suppose.

Re your spotting - I think it can mean anything at this point so just keep an eye on it 🤞🏻

Spotting can mean anything 🤷🏻‍♀️ with my second I had spotting on 11dpo and thought AF was going to show up 😅 only got a positive at 13dpo

@MrsPepper82 If it helps, when I conceived both DC1 and DC2 I had what I thought was my period.....honestly, more than spotting and I was pregnant both times! Last about 3 days, but tested after because my boobs were hurting so much which isn't a period sign for me.

I kind of caved in today and did an IC test and got a completely white BFN 😅 which is now annoyingly showing one of those evaps you can barely see 🙄 🤦🏻‍♀️
