Do NOT trust Freedom HCG tests!!!

I'm 8DPO, didn't think it was my month anyway this month, although had a few twinges last night. Fast forward to this morning, I grabbed a box of Freedom HCG tests from Sainsbury's. Below picture with "positive" test was the first I took! Totally didn't believe so did the other test and a FRER from same sample - bit negative, obviously. Shocked! I cannot believe how much a blatant false positive that is!!
I wouldn't trust this brand again.

I've used both these tests and had no issues. With it being 8dpo you are super early (which I'm sure you know) so I wouldn't lose hope yet.

Test again around 11dpo and take it from there. Fingers are crossed for you!

Thank you. I know it's super early but the difference in the result is mind boggling, especially being from same sample. I'll test again next week now x

Don’t lose hope yet, try again in a couple of days? It might be too early for the freer? I had a blazing bfn on a freer probably around the same time as you, binned it and tried again a week later to have a bfp, I’m now 36 weeks pregnant. Best of luck!

You’ve had two different results at 8dpo, you don’t actually know which is right yet though.

@Clm22 True, but FRER is more sensitive than these cheap tests. So you'd expect it the other way round! Trying to stay optimistic

I took 2 tests an hour apart. The first one was at 6pm negative. The second one was at 7:30pm positive but then it disappeared and the test is negative.. is this an evap line?

@mumtryingtoconcieve I would assume an evap. Do you have another test that you can photograph within the 5 minute window? How many DPO are you?

This was Oct 21' and not a BFP.....however I did conceive two months later! 🥳🥳
