I can see lots of TWW threads for end of April but I thought I’d start one for any of us who are 1dpo in early May.

I’m 1dpo today. Fourth cycle of trying for second baby. Ovulation day came a week early for us this week, but we DTD 3 times in the fertile window so I’m hopeful.

I don’t remember getting any early symptoms with my last pregnancy.

I usually test waaaay too much. So get ready to see loads of iffy faint lines -ha!

I started my period late last night, wasn't expecting it as I thought I was 7 DPO Initially thought it could be implantation bleeding but it's gotten more red than pink so that's me out!

@HavinKittens @Goldie1234 trying to stay positive and just looking forward to our holiday and being able to go in the hot tub 🤞🏻 have the doctors in a few weeks too hopefully will be able to get some answers

@PollyDarton1 oh! So I guess if you go back 12-14 days that’s probably when you actually ovulated? Did you have signs then?

I’m CD10 today and got another flashing smiley, wanted to DTD last night but it was so hot 🥵 😂

@HavinKittens no, in fact that's when I was coming out the lightest on the OPK! It's all a bit of a mystery. I peaked (or what I thought I had) 7 days ago.

I think I'm going to try and book a GP appointment for next couple of weeks. My cycles have always been hit and miss but just want to make sure I am ovulating properly. I know I have good egg reserve and my hormones are within decent ranges. Maybe this month I'll be a bit more diligent with OPK from the end of my period - last month I didn't start testing until CD16 which is stupid!

So sorry about your mc, was this your first miscarriage? I had 5 mc before I conceived my ds so completely get it!

@Soph2512 so sorry, it's totally rubbish and weird as my second was conceived fine no miscarriages 🤷🏼‍♀️

Definitely push for progesterone, it's completely supported by tommys so can't see that they should say no. I did use progesterone with second and had it from my gp no problem at all.

Hope ok to ask, how do you know if need progesterone supplements? Are there symptoms you'd notice before having bloods done ?

I'm CD13, have had a few days of light LH strips.. Will have to see what happens over the next few days!

@Unicorn25 my doctor was actually awful yesterday. I had to push for a blood test. She refused to do anything and actually asked me what do you want me to do. There is nothing I can do until number 3 she was soo cold and no empathy. She said she can’t prescribe progesterone either and it has to be through fertility clinic

I felt worse leaving there then before going

@Soph2512 im so sorry you had to go through this, what is it with drs having no bedside manner recently, I get it’s their job and they see it everyday but like it’s ur whole world and it’s a scary experience to go through, she should be doing everything in her power to make u feel better & supported. I also feel so mad she said she can’t prescribe you progesterone (it was my dr prescribed it for me), is there any way u can go to a different DR?

@DmcinT honestly I have had the worse experience ever this time. I have found lady doctors are awful! I had no support and not once did she ask if i was ok.

I have a appointment on the 19th so I will ask then. the most I managed to squeeze out of her is folic acid higher dose and a blood test/.

I actually feel terrible today so feel like i need to go back but I really do not want to

@Soph2512 that sounds dreadful. I’m sorry she wasn’t at all kind or helpful. I have had a real mixed bag from my GP. A couple have been good but the one I spoke to most recently didn’t seem like she knew what she was talking about.

I know they’re extremely pressured but losing kindness toward patients isn’t on.

Haven’t posted on here for a while. But had my fertility appt yesterday and after only 3 months since my lap for endo a 5cm endometrioma has reappeared! Gutted, but getting prepared and ready to start IVF once they’ve decided if the cyst needs to be surgically removed (again!)

I'm a bit confused. I've had 2 days of v v light period - between dark brown, pink, a bit of red but v light. I ovulated about 6/7 days before my period started so I initially thought it might have been implantation but it continued past 1-2 days and was a bit heavier than I expected implantation to be.

I've just done the following tests in case which I've attached. I'd be about 8/9 DPO. I did the Easy@Home which didn't show up initially but then was very obvious but the line didn't seem complete (there is definitely colour there) and then I did another one as I thought it was an evap and just a shadow.

There is also what looks like a small shadow on the Boots one.

What do you think?

Scrap that, I've just put the test up to the sunlight and it looks like a shitty evap line, doesn't look to be any colour.

Pretty unlucky to get two evaps lines in one day on two separate tests though 😂

I’ve never had even a whiff of a line on one of those boots tests

The Easy@Home one is an evap for sure - it's got colour but it's a very thin line and I did another with the same urine and saw pretty much nothing.

I've done another Boots test (granted with new urine) and nothing. There's a line there but I'm convinced it's an evap - when I hold the test up to the light there is this weird dark shadow to the left of the line, which I think is making it look like a line on the front of the test.

That is so weird. I’m sorry you’re so plagued by evaps. It is so frustrating!

I know right? I thought the chances of me being pregnant were pretty low as I thought I was definitely on my period but there were a couple of things which felt different (my boobs are still sore, it usually eases after the first day) so thought I'd test as the period was v light.

I've had so many evaps, it's annoying! I didn't think the Boots ones would do that as I'd heard such reliable reviews but maybe it was a faulty test. The second test I did (with less urine) was from a new packet so must have just been the other one. Not sure whether to hold urine now until later and see, or whether it would just be a waste of a test - I'd only be 8/9 DPO at the most anyway!

If it was me I’d hold off and try first urine tomorrow morning.

How confusing! I’d heard good things about those Boots tests too. Defo try tomorrow with FMU!
