I can see lots of TWW threads for end of April but I thought I’d start one for any of us who are 1dpo in early May.

I’m 1dpo today. Fourth cycle of trying for second baby. Ovulation day came a week early for us this week, but we DTD 3 times in the fertile window so I’m hopeful.

I don’t remember getting any early symptoms with my last pregnancy.

I usually test waaaay too much. So get ready to see loads of iffy faint lines -ha!

@Goldie1234 the first time I did opks I started the day after my period so I knew my case line. Turns out I OV on day 19 rather than 14 like most people. My friend is the opposite end and OV on day 7.

I also took pregnacare for my first and also for this baby (breast feeding ones) and also got my OH to take them too 😂😂

@Goldie1234 oh yes I’ve heard that happening for a few people, conceiving without IVF for their second. My sister went through IVF and it was gruelling.

@Sarahloudobby when I first used opks I started as soon as my period ended but I think if you already have a rough idea of when you ovulate, maybe start 3-4 days before then.

DH and I went out on the town last night, we had a babysitter for our 18mo old for the first time. It was so fun but I think I’m still a bit tipsy this morning 😂

@HavinKittens thankyou, I have used them before but not every day, I just took them a few times to get a rough idea of when the liens get darker, I had a really dark two lines around day 12 then going back to the second lien being barely barely visible just before my period. I think I’ll take them from day 9/10 onwards this month. We are going away to Liverpool for a weekend around my ovulation date so I’m hoping for lots of dtd

Been caught out this month with what I think are the evaps that frer have 🙄 these tests use to be reliable!

@Unicorn25 that's rubbish, why do you think it's an evap?

So I took a test this morning and I think I've got a line?! It wasn't FMU and was due AF yesterday but looks like something there! Will test again tomorrow and see 🤞🏼

@Vic231 definitely something there! Some women get stronger HCG in the afternoon/evening, and can test completely negative in the mornings. 🤞🏻 you get a strong line in the morning if AF is then 2 days overdue! Keep us posted.

Anyone understand what's happening? Why is my temp dropping pre ovulation?

I did have some blood tests done to confirm that everything is normal and I do ovulate. Also have a DD just over 1yr

They are just extremely faint and haven't got any darker over the last 24 hours. I'm 10dpo so think I would have had a darker line by now! When I was ttc my first, a line was a line on a FRER.

Does anyone have any severe lower backaches? Had some on and off since last night and omg it's painful. I'm only about 3dpo though. Cant remember if I've had this before but definitely not last cycle so I am hoping it's a good sign 😀

Temp is rising and have inexplicably had the strongest OPK ever on CD34. I'm feeling sick, can smell everything and lower pelvic pain. Earlier in the week my teeth hurt and I had migraines.

I took a Boots and appears negative but if I genuinely don't know what day I ovulated on now, the strongest one I had was CD26 so I'd be 8DPO if that's to be believed. When I conceived my DS I had a very long cycle, tested positive on the 20th Jan, DTD on the 9th and my last period beforehand was before Christmas! So god only knows.

Negatives, but OPK is pretty much positive.

Morning all, managed to get my hands on a first response and I think this is undeniable now! 😅

I haven't a clue what is going on with my body - my CM has increased, my temp has dropped, I have had some spotting. Looks as if I'm about to start AF.

@PollyDarton1 that does sound like AF is on the way, hope it at least starts soon for you so you can get it out of the way and start the next cycle quickly.

It would certainly be a relief @CinderRosie because things have been so random this month. BBT has been all over the place 😂

That said if I do start AF I have no clue when I ovulated as none of the OPK around that time suggest I did.
