Wow, that is crazy...I just thought I would have a look when the old thread was started! @ANP2020 you started that thread February 2022! @pinkpirlie and @annapolis35 also started chatting with you February and I joined in May 2022! That has gone so so fast all of us talking together on here!

Hey, can I join!

I’m new on here as this is my first cycle TTC #1!

My cycles are 28-34 days and I’ve not tracked ovulation but I think I’m 7-9DPO going by cycle usually being 30 days long.

Took a clear blue ultra early digital test this morning which was a BFN, hoping it was too early!

Good luck to you all!

Mums net has really opened my eyes that maybe I was being naive thinking it will happen first try!

Oh wow @Shaker21 yes I remember I got pregnant the first month I signed up!! How naive haha. Thank you @pinkpirlie. ladies I am delighted to say the house sale has gone through 🥳🥳🥳

@kalixxx welcome! It’s still very early days to test so could mean little at this point. Wait a few days and test again? You never know, you could get lucky first month.

Oh yay @Annapolis35 !! That is such good news! Are you busy moving now?

Welcome @kalixxx, it may just be too early. Definitely re-test in a couple of days time. I find after so long of trying now that I just wait for AF to arrive as its much less heart ache after more months go on. Fingers crossed you get yours soon.

@Shaker21 no not moving yet, we were selling to be nearer family so in rental while figure out where to go to. Need a few months off though!

@kalixxx I am the same as shaker and never bother early testing and just wait for period to arrive. Can’t deal or be bothered with the ups and downs of that and constant disappointment

@Annapolis35 so happy your house is sold. And you can now relax a bit. Splitting the sale and purchase is a good call and hopefully a lot less stressful, so hopefully you can enjoy that journey a little more when it comes.
Thank you so much for such a lovely message on the other thread about the anxiety. It made me cry a little, and have really trying to hold to those words the past several days. 💜

@kalixxx I agree with the others. If you can, avoid testing early, I try to wait until I'm a few days over due. Good luck, and lots of sprinklings of baby dust.

@Shaker21 it's crazy it's been a year almost already of our thread. It has been such a journey for everyone. So many ups and downs but I feel like we are all really supportive of each other and it has really helped with the highs and the lows.

I went for my first "fertility" accupuncture today. She joked how she'd done her job and I could go home. She placed several needles to help with anxiety, sleep and tender breasts. She also took my pulse several times before and after and said I was definitely pregnant (which we obviously knew) as the pulse feels different when someone is pregnant. I will go monthly now.

@pinkpirlie oh was it the slippery pulse thing? Mine told me I had that one month too, but my AF arrived in the end. I always wonder if that was a chemical but I’m glad I didn’t know about it at the time. Glad you are doing ok, just take it a day at a time. Have the symptoms got quite bad? My boobs felt like they were on fire and I was so tired I was in bed by 8pm most nights.

I feel so relieved about the house, but not excited or anything, I just feel tired. I wonder if my body is finally relaxing and now just wants to sleep - free of worries about that.

I can’t believe it’s been a year too! We’ve all been through a lot and being able to talk to women in the same situation has helped so much. It really makes a difference.

Hello everyone
We started trying this month with no 3. Af due in 3 days. I did a test a few days ago and I think I ‎saw a really faint line. Will test later shortly again.

Good luck to everyone 💕

Today is CD11 for me and I've just had a positive OPK which is freaking me out lol usually I don't get one until CD13 or 14! So I guess my 2WW starts again today/tomorrow, hopefully I will be able to control myself when it comes to testing this month!

Hey guys.

Just sending an update over from me...

AF arrived yesterday after my 1st round of letrozole 2.5mg. I got my blood test results back and progesterone was 24.1 nmol/L which is lower than my previous unmedicated cycle where progesterone was at 32.2 nmol/L I think. So any way, fertility consultant said it was still on the lower side so I am starting 2nd round of Letrozole today of 5mg dose and will have another blood test to check progesterone this cycle also.

Hope everyone is doing ok? How are you all? X

Hey @Shaker21 thats quite dispiriting and I hope the increase of the dosage has a better impact. How do you feel about it?

I am doing alright, am on day 14 or 15 so in my likely fertile week. We are just dtd every other day/every 2 days. I am not tracking now and won’t again so that’s quite nice. I am feeling pretty good, it’s nice for the stress of the house to be gone and to be able to relax fully again! I am trying to get away from having ttc as a focus of my life and just enjoy being without having a baby, it’s definitely helping having that mindset

@Annapolis35
Hey
Hope your first month back TTC hasn't been too stressful. I have everything crossed for you. May this be your lucky month.

@Shaker21 sorry your progesterone was lower on the meds. I really hope you get better results next month. But it sounds like your consultant is on the ball and supporting you.

I am now 6+3. Every day my symptoms get worse, but I know that means nothing. I have a private scan at 1pm. I'm super anxious that it's going to be a MMC. But equally excited to see the bean and hopefully a heartbeat. Will let you know how it goes.

Hi @Annapolis35 & everyone else.
The scan went well. As soon as the embryo appeared on the big screen you could see a heart beat and I burst out sobbing.

I really hope it is everyone else's time soon. This has been such a long, long and stressful time coming for us. I know everyone else will have their time. xx

Afternoon ladies hope you’re all doing ok? I am probably cycle day 1 today, had some brown discharge and now waiting for AF to arrive (I’m certain it will). I just found out my progesterone day 21 test from December as I think we are gonna see a fertility consultant privately - my oh was referred for a sperm analysis and the local ish center has said they can’t do it and referred us to a hospital 100s of miles from us so we are gonna get a private one instead.

Anyway the long and short of it is that the level was 43.4 which I think is good? She didn’t say which measurement but I am guessing n/mol. Hope you’re all ok… I feel quite positive and ok re AF, it’s happened so many times now I can’t bring myself to get sad about it arriving anymore.

Hey @Annapolis35

That progesterone level seems really good 👍🏻 I think going private for your oh is a good idea too. Can only be a good thing and a lot quicker too! Sorry to hear AF is arriving...it does become such the norm when it happens over and over for so many months.

I am doing ok, I have been struggling the past few days or so. I found out on Thursday last week that my sister is pregnant. They weren't trying yet and only had sex once 3 days before ovulation so is a really kicker! I am 3DPO today and got my next blood test Friday for day 21 progesterone after being on 5mg letrozole this cycle so shall wait and see what that comes back and where to go from there.

Hope everyone else is doing ok x
