Thank you! It doesn't feel real yet. I am feeling ok, just feeling a bit bloated and so so tired, got bit of aching going on. Other than that no other symptoms. No of course not @Annapolis35 , we dtd 2DBO, 1DBO and Ovulation day.

How are you doing? x

That pregnancy tired is something else! Get loads of rest now and keep us updated. I am happy for you and nice to see another bfp on this thread.

I’m ok, I’m on cycle day 10 so gearing up now for fertile week. I think we are gonna just try to dtd as much as we can and try to enjoy it. I had some clear blue opks in the cupboard so decided to use them on a whim and got a flashing smiley today, definitely early this cycle! I won’t tell my oh as it puts a bit of pressure on him.

I really hope we start seeing more BFP's for us on this thread :)

That's good you're coming into fertile window and that you got a flashing smiley! I am keeping everything crossed for you x

OMG @Shaker21
The BIGGEST congratulations!!!
That's so amazing.

It's been such a tough journey for you, I couldn't be happier (and I just had a scan and my little one is okay, but I'm happier for you - haha).

Thanks @pinkpirlie ! I am so happy your scan went all ok! How many weeks are you now? Have you got any tips or advice on how to keep myself sane and not anxious that something will go wrong? Lol... only found out yesterday and I am already freaking out x

Report
pinkpirlie · 14/03/2023 11:46

@Shaker21 I'm about 12 and a half weeks, but they couldn't date me today as they couldn't see the baby properly. So I have to go back next week to try again. But baby is about the right size and has a heart beat so that was the most important bits for me and helped de-stress me. Hopefully my eczema will clear up now, as it always flares when I'm anxious.

I had private scans at 6.5 and 10 weeks, these really helped as anxiety creeps up between scans and the first NHS one feels so far away. This helped as I had previous loss and also just the anxiety of knowing it took 2.5 years to get to here and not wanting/feeling able to go through that again. I would aim for 7 and 10 weeks though if you want to do that as you can't see much at 6 weeks.

I found the exhaustion really hard weeks 4-6 but it got a lot better for me after that.

Sickness has been awful! I'm on cyclizine which really helps, so I would really not wait to speak to doctor if you're suffering. I have found it hard to drink anything, as liquids make me feel so poorly. So small sips little and often.

Appointments feel forever away in the moment, but come around quicker than you think they will.

Don't compare yourself to others and try to stay off Google. There is absolutely nothing you can do to help or hinder the pregnancy, it's all in nature's hands. Googling symptoms won't change outcomes and just adds to anxiety.

@Shaker21 im at work and just saw your message and I had a big grin on my face!! Really happy for you congratulations! Im so pleased the letrozole ( or whatever it was in the universe) has worked for you. Wishing you a very happy and healthy pregnancy ahead.

@pinkpirlie awww 12, weeks! Amazing.

Hope everyone else is doing okay. Xx

@pinkpirlie Ahh I'm so glad it is all ok and thank you so much for all the advice, I am thinking I am going to do a early scan at 7 weeks and then see how I feel after that and may also do one at 10 weeks if I really feel like I need to. I have felt so tired yesterday and today, I feel so bloated and achey. Which the aching is freaking me out whether its good, bad, normal or not normal but I have seen people say they are quite crampy in the first few weeks finding out as its all stretching and doing what it should be. I am really trying to stay off of Google and to just go with it and wait and see what happens. There is no reason anything would be wrong so just need to chill.

@Jen05p Thank you :) I do really believe it was the Letrozole that has done it so I am in amazement how a tiny tablet can do that to just regulate hormones how they should be for it to happen!

Report
Annapolis35 · 14/03/2023 13:41

@pinkpirlie also wonderful news! So glad everything is going well.

@Shaker21 i think the cramps are normal, I had them for the first couple of weeks so I wouldn’t worry about that. And as said, this is now out of your control completely so no point worrying. Just a question re temps, did yours seem different at all this month? Or just odd at time your period should be due?

Report
Shaker21 · 14/03/2023 14:01

@Annapolis35 Yeah I have got to just go with it and what will be will be. Erm did overly notice anything too different. I have put my chart in here for this cycle. The only thing I did notice this cycle that has been different to others is my temps in general were all slightly higher. My temps before ovulation previously have been 36.15-36.30 and this month they were 36.25-36.45 and after ovulation previously they were 36.50-36.70 and this month they were 36.60-36.90 so just that slight shift higher but that could have been down to my hormones finally being at the right level they should have been.

Thank you so much and sorry for all the questions! It really is helpful and gives hope to see another bfp on this thread. We’ve all been through the ringer too so it feels especially good to see some bfps ❤️

Hello everyone!

@Shaker21 congratulations!! I’m so pleased for you! You’ve waited so long for this! I’m so pleased to see the Letorozole worked! I’m so glad u went and found that consultant! You’d have still been waiting on the NHS!

@Annapolis35 everything crossed for you entering your fertile
week!

well I’m still up and down! Don’t know if I told you but my close friend told me she was pregnant over the phone, she wasn’t trying and cried when she found out as wasn’t sure this was what they wanted… totally get that just almost wish she’d missed that bit out of the story! Phoning wasn’t the best for me either! I wish she’d text or voice noted! It took me so off guard I think my reaction was probably poor and I hope I’ve not made her feel rubbish by it!!

I’ve carried on with this bbt and have no clear indication yet but this morning I’ve had a positive OPK and lots of ewcm so we’ll dtd tonight incase! Not managed to do it much this month as I’ve had D&V 🤦🏽‍♀️ so only managed in cd 14! Hopefully these are all good signs!

move just rung to chase my fertility referral after seeing @Shaker21 bfp! They’ve said it’s 14 more weeks!!! So I’ll have been waiting 50! I need to find someone private I think

Shaker21 · 14/03/2023 15:19

Thank you @ANP2020 It feels so surreal and like it isn't happening or would never happen for us. I would 100% recommend going private, even if its just for a initail consultation and then see how you feel about that and what they suggest trying or testing or anything. It seems so mad that like you say we would still be waiting for NHS right now and no where nearer to getting our baby and here I am £500 later but with a bfp and it was so worth the money! Obviously everyone is different with what is needed and going private but if you can afford to spread it out and to get the ball rolling then I would recommend it. Sorry to hear you are still up and down from finding out from your friend, I agree doing it over the phone was not the best way, I would also much prefer a text or voice note so I can react how I would want to react before having to compose myself to then be happy for her x

Thanks @Shaker21 you deserve this and I’m so happy for you! It’s been such a rough and rocky journey for everyone on this thread!

well I’ve had a look at some
privately near me but they need bmi to be under 32 which mine is not! So looks like I’m in this for the long haul whilst I loose the weight!! Just need to keep plodding! I suppose June won’t be too far off for me and hopefully we’re nearly in April so will just have to keep on ttc with no pressure in the meantime! Make sure you keep us updated x

ANP2020 · 19/03/2023 05:46

so slight bit of good news for me hopefully I’ve done bbt this month after listening to you all! Now I often wake to need the loo so the timings have varied but it looks like I’ve definitely ovulated! Which is massive seen as I haven’t been ovulating (or ovulating strongly) according to blood tests! I had a positive opk and ewcm as well so all looks good!
chart attached!!

I don’t feel any different than I normally do but it’s nice to know this month there’s a chance at least!
@Annapolis35 should be just around the corner for you now hopefully!! 🤞🤞 I used to hate that flashing face haha that’s why I had to swap to the sticks with the lines! It was like it was tormenting me haha!

@ANP2020 - ahhhhh great!! I am so pleased for you...hopefully fingers crossed for this cycle!

Unfortunately my 2nd round of letrozole +trigger + cyclogest has ended with a BFN today. I would be around 14PDPO so wont test again now as I believe thats me out. I spoke to my fertility DR and he was saying you would be suprised how many of their patients fall pregnant on their 3rd or 4th cycle so hey fingers crossed. I am responding to letrozole but its just not happening sadly. I think we will try another 1-2 cycles and then it may be to move on to IUI possibly.

Sorry to hear this @Jen05p it’s positive that your fertility doctor has a plan though. It’s so disheartening. I’m now on day 7 of a flashing smiley OPK. absolutely hate that smiley face.

Morning girls, how is everyone?

@ANP2020 how is your chart looking now with your BBT?

@Annapolis35 Did you get your solid smiley on OPK in the end?

@Jen05p So sorry to hear about the BFN. Did AF show and you have started your next cycle of letrozole?

@pinkpirlie Hope you are doing all ok :)

Hey @Shaker21
Yes I'm doing well. My sickness seems to be starting to subside. I'm testing out not taking the anti-nausea meds and so far so good. Had my dating rescan yesterday and still not able to see the baby so no combined screening for me as it's too late now (I'm 14w today).
But we could just about make out the baby and they were moving around and seemed happy.

How is everyone else doing? Really hoping for some more positives in the group soon - you all deserve them so much. 💜
