Early symptom spotters and testers!

Hey all

I thought it would be nice for us to have a thread to discuss symptom spotting, early symptoms and early test pictures (if you are someone who likes to test early)

I am currently 5 DPO, TTC Baby #1 with my amazing partner after a miscarriage back in March.

I'm going out for some drinks on Thursday and will be 8DPO - I obviously won't drink if there's any sign or symptom that I may have conceived so I'd like somewhere to discuss any potential symptoms and everyone else's experience.

Oh my gosh, defo joining! 7dpo here 🤞

Nothing until today but had very mild period like cramps today, feel very sad and more cm than I would expect! However, I do have pcos and weird cramps etc are quite normal for me.

Praying this is our cycle! Xx

Oh also, sorry, TTC number one! Had a chemical in December, and nothing since. Although only been tracking/properly trying since July ish x

9 DPO here - I think! I have PCOS, so it can be quite hard to tell, but had positive ovulation tests around about that time. I caved and did a cheap test today, BFN, but I know it's too early anyway! But have light cramps today and sore boobs. Could be PMS, I'm not getting my hopes up!

@thelma57 sending you baby dust! I had period like cramps when I conceived in February, that and sore boobs plus exceptionally high emotions were some of my first symptoms so hopefully a positive sign for you! I spilt something on my bedroom floor and sobbed for so long and so deeply you'd think something absolutely traumatic had happened.

@charliebelle oooh good luck! They sound like positive signs - I'm an early tester as well, had to stop myself taking a test on my lunch break even though 1) it's obscenely early and 2) it would have been a wee I'd held for an hour!

So far I'm just really tired (but that could be from the clocks changing) and a bit dizzy today - but that again could be from being so tired! I've been a bit crampy too so we'll see!

@thelma57 ah bless you! I really do hope it's all promising signs for you! When are you thinking of testing?

I'm going to test with my first wee on Thursday morning - half of me knows it's way too early (8DPO) but then the other half of me remembers I got the faintest line at 7DPO with my pregnancy in February so sod it.....no point pretending I can wait longer 🤣 Plus if there is a hint of anything I know to avoid drinking on my night out 😇

I’m going away for work tomorrow night so after that will try to chill, unless I see something of course. Sometimes feel like it’ll never happen 😭

@thelma57 maybe it will be a lucky 8DPO BFP for us both this cycle! I completely get what you mean - this will be my 12th cycle of trying and all that time I only had my positive in February, but sadly it wasn't meant to be. My due date was 5th November so if I could have a BFP by then I feel like it really would be bittersweet 🤍

It's so hard to think it will happen but I believe it really will, hopefully this time 🤞

I'm not usually a poas person and always wait till AF (which always comes like clockwork) but today at 5dpo I did a test. BFN obviously but I've been very crampy so thought I'd push my luck. I'm starting to get worried about the length of time ttc, I'm 35 and we've been at it for just under a year 😯

@overthinkersanonnymus welcome!! Ha you're like me literally the most irrational early testing 🙈 i know realistically i'll be testing tomorrow first thing at 6DPO 🤦🏻‍♀️

morning everyone!

I had a really vivid dream last night that I got a BFP so I'm hoping that's a good sign!

As I knew I would (I can't help myself!) I took a test this morning, obviously it's negative but I knew it wasn't going to be positive I just can't help myself testing - hopefully I can hold out til Thursday now (even though I know that's all too early as well)

Morning @ElleBelleLou ! I tested this morning too and BFN, only 8dpo though! I might get a frer for Thursday morning so I can test in the hotel, hopefully it has some good light 😂

I’ve only got internet cheapies at home which are 10mui/ml but I think frer are 6

The easy at home strips I have at home seem
to have the control line quite far across which is weird.

My nipples are still a bit tender today but cramps have gone!

@thelma57 fingers crossed for us both on thursday! 8DPO is still very very early - good idea to get some FRERs! I have 2 sat in my bathroom just waiting for if I get any kind of squinter on a cheapie test.

sore nipples are a great sign! all i feel today is a bit nauseous, I did last night too found it a struggle to get to sleep. Think it would be way too early for that to mean anything though - it's probably more likely something I ate

Ive had some cramps yesterday, headache and dizzy today.

I am struggling today I'm so so nauseous! Running to and from the bathroom at work non stop - definitely more likely to be something i've eaten than anything but it is reminding me of my pregnancy in Feb 🤍

I think I’m going barmy, I’ve just tested after a hold cos I’m WFH and why not (and my boobs are killing me) but I feel like I see a vvvvvvvf line.
The control line is in a weird place though so could just be my eyes!

Hope its ok to join. I'm 7DPO and absolutely dying to test but I know its too soon. WFH on Thursday so may test then if I can wait that long lol. Had some cramping over the weekend and then a very small amount of brown discharge this morning, hoping its IB and not my period coming early. So hard not to read into every little thing!! Fingers crossed for you all xx

@thelma57 I think I can see it too! Definitely a bit more to the left than I'd think but my FRER with my February pregnancy was well over to the left so it could just be one of those!! Oooh I'm excited for you will you test with FMU tomorrow? 🤞🏻
