Hey all

I thought it would be nice for us to have a thread to discuss symptom spotting, early symptoms and early test pictures (if you are someone who likes to test early)

I am currently 5 DPO, TTC Baby #1 with my amazing partner after a miscarriage back in March.

I'm going out for some drinks on Thursday and will be 8DPO - I obviously won't drink if there's any sign or symptom that I may have conceived so I'd like somewhere to discuss any potential symptoms and everyone else's experience.

I'm currently 14DPO, due tomorrow / Monday and feel fine about sticking to my pledge not to test until Monday at the earliest.

We're a year in and I just can't keep doing the early testing heartbreak so this is definitely better for me and my mental health.

Very, very sore boobs and more CM than usual. Proper insomnia last night, I think because as brain was in overdrive a bit. Hoping so much that this is our month. And we're having tests done this month and next so feel like we're being proactive at least.

Any crossed fingers and good luck thoughts are very welcome these next few days!

So sorry to hear of the arrival of AF for some 😔 Here’s hoping for a BFP in the near future.

I’ve now ovulated so on the countdown to testing. I think I’m about 2-3dpo at the moment. Due my period on 20/21st of this month.

I’m so impatient so this is the hardest wait 😅 I’ve started a little log on my phone of early symptoms, even though the majority of the Internet will say it’s way too early to have signs. There’s some posts I’ve read recently & also from years ago where the person asking questions around early conception signs has later got a BFP.

My symptom today which made me start the note was I woke up with such a stuffy nose but no cold/flu symptoms. I had a shower and whilst in the shower I could smell my husband making coffee downstairs super far away. I also had a taste of blood to the point I spat my saliva out whilst in the shower expecting to see blood but was clear. Last night I woke up 3 times with bad/vivid dreams BUT I did start watching Rig and that’s terrifying 🤣

So if you’re like me and you’re on high alert for symptoms that are probably in your head 🤣😅 I’ll pop anything down on here along with my cycle day and DPO.

Morning all. So sorry to those of you who have had the arrival of AF 💙

I took a test this morning and it’s a faint positive. It’s just an internet cheap one, I only have a clear blue digital left.

We’ve had 1 chemical and 2 misscarriges in the past year so trying not to get get my hopes up yet 🤞.

yesterday at the top, this morning at the bottom. Clear blue digital says not pregnant but I am 3 days late now.

15DPO today and AF due today / tomorrow.

Little recap of my symptoms at the moment...

Cracking headache, super sore boobs (much more than I usually get before AF) and for the first time very sensitive nipples.

Also still more CM than usual for this time in my cycle, but not as much as the last few days when it was WAY more than usual.

BAD insomnia the last two nights. About four hours each night argh.

Also much less mood swing-y than usual for this time of my cycle, but annoyingly I've fallen on the sad side of those mood swings so feeling pretty down.

Keep going down the rabbit hole of googling statistics and treatments and freaking myself out as we've been TTC for a year now and I'm so worried it's not happened yet.

I've stuck to my pledge not to test until AF is late so I won't be doing it until Tuesday. And maybe even longer. I've found it really good mental health wise to make that pledge to myself as otherwise I end up testing daily from about 9DPO and feel miserable for the whole week.

Really, really hoping we might be in with a shot this month. We timed everything really well (almost every day in fertile window) so we couldn't have done more!

Hi everyone I got A very faint line on a first response which came up straight away can anyone see it. Would these show a faint line like this regardless. I don't think I had a faint line when Iv done one before . I had spotting 4 days ago. 4 days left till AF is due . Not sure when I ovulated x

@Mammma91 i have everything crossed for you because that looks like a BFP! Clear blue have never been that great for me, have you got and FRER? X

@Tartanhaggis I think I can see a shadow, but not much colour in the line. Hopefully a test tomorrow will be clearer for you and be a BFP🤞🏼x

This morning's frer. A little more noticeable than yesterday but still vvvv faint . Dunno what to think of these but I'm going with negative for now

How many DPO are you@Tartanhaggis - sorry if you've already said, having a stealth scroll at work so can't go too far back.

I've finally managed to get a hold of my doctor this morning to let him know I'm pregnant. Did mention my pain and bleeding but they don't seem too concerned - gave the impression that they won't bother with anything until I'm further along than 5 weeks, which is what it is.

I've been cramping heavily today, and some blood when I wipe after having a wee. Not sure what it is but it's the same that has been on and off seemingly since I found out I was pregnant.

Trying to make myself feel better by acknowledging my extreme nausea and my sore nipples etc - they must indicate something is growing.

I lost my last baby at 7 weeks, I think I will just be constantly worrying and tiptoeing around myself until I get past that point.

@Wonkyjelly I did a clearblue normal test and there was no blue line. If my period doesn't turn up il do another frer when two days late x

@ElleBelleLou I'm not entirely sure what day I ovulated on but I think I was 4 days before period due when I wrote my messages. About 11ish dpo but not 100% on that.

Anyway iv had a negative test which was yesterday so I think I'm out ...although i am still holding on to a tiny bit of hope 🤞 we've been TTC for 12 months thinking of waiting another 6 months then heading to docs. We have had two early losses I am almost 38 though so I didn't expect an easy journey this time x

Hi everyone, another update from me

Unfortunately I started miscarrying yesterday, and after a very very rough day I believe I have passed the pregnancy now.

I'm sorry it's not a more positive update from me - but I am sending love and babydust to every single person on this thread xx

Hi everyone, thank you for your well wishes, I am doing okay. All my pregnancy symptoms are fading away now (though the bleeding is showing no sign of letting up yet!), but I'm happy I can eat more than I had been - I lost a fair bit of weight, so need to get myself back up to a healthy weight now.

I'm back at work today, so back to normality. I thought it would help but I feel like I've been dreaming through my entire shift - very ready for 5pm.

My amazing DP has been my rock throughout this - when we're ready, whenever that may be, we're going to speak to the doctor to see why we've had 2 losses. It's 2 losses in 10 months - makes me think something can't be right.
